We are from Kentucky where Asparagus is pronounced Uh-sphe-ruh-gus. Not isprickis. Spent two minutes trying to figure out what the waitress was saying.

Food was very good with large portions, a good value. Our service left a lot to be desired. The waitress was very sweet and polite however, she was not conversant about the menu items and I think she had a language/translation problem. Several times it was clear she did not understand even though she said she did.

Delicious. We had a rib eye and blackened ahi. Both served quickly and very well prepared. Nice selection of wine and cocktails. The barbera and Pinot noir were very tasty.

The best casual restaurant in Incline. Food is excellent, large portions, and our service was outstanding. Call me unsophisticated but I love meat loaf and theirs is the best I’ve had. My partners chicken wings were fantastic. Have had lunch here as well in the past and same quality and service. Thumbs up.

Austins is a very relaxed setting nestled amongst the tall pines in more of a locals neighborhood setting that in the hide bustling tourist Corredor. The service was wonderful and the staff extremely friendly. The menu had a nice selection and our party of four old shows different meals, including trout, meatloaf, Caprese, salad and lasagna, I believe. The food was prepared very nicely and tasted great. The only, single downside to the dinner meal was the incessant barking of another guests dog that have been brought to the outdoor restaurant. It took away from the overall enjoyment. That’s not the restaurants fault, it’s the patrons!

I've been a repeat patron for years but last evening's experience was my last. Very disappointing dinner. Basic menu that needs some reinventing. $23 for a bowl of chopped lettuce with less than a handful of chicken is outrageous. Hoping Austin's can put some effort into their kitchen going forward.

The food was fair, with no frills. The service was ok. Too many dogs to enjoy any ambiance. There was a loose small dog that ravaged under every table looking for food. He ruined any enjoyment of the meal. Probably won’t go back.

Made a reservation due to it being summer. We were seated with no wait after arriving. The food was amazing! The server was obviously new, but she did well despite not having much experience. She was super kind, friendly, and checked on us during dinner.

You had no white wine available yesterday by the glass. We were forced to order a bottle of Chardonnay. Also, although we had a reservation, we were seated at a picnic table for six. Fortunately, our waitress moved us to a smaller table with actual chairs, not benches, by the time our meal arrived.

the wait staff was fine but the management of the restaurant needs serious attention. they are not properly staffed in the kitchen, they were out of major items at 5:45pm on a monday night. the poor wait staff had to deal with unhappy customers who were jerks and didn't tip them even though it had nothing to do with their competence. the kitchen was backed up for two hours! we love going to austins but we will not go back until they fix the inventory, the management, the staffing shortages. It was really disappointing so hope management reads this.

We have enjoyed Austin’s for decades. Last night had some disappointments. Server was very nice, just started so no ding there. Charged $5.00 for split salad, but were not told. Maybe missed it on menu? Always we get the great artichoke on the menu, but they were no longer offering artichokes. Very happy to sty they take reservations! Come to find out, indoor reservations only. The hostess was kind and still gave us an outdoor table. Cigar and other smoking participants difficult fri adjoining saloon and liquor store. Trout awesome as always for us, anyway. Need to update policies and menus for clear communication and avoid menu item disappointments. Lastly, hoping for patio heaters soon?

we used to visit often before covid just came back food was awesome but wine by the glass as bad and no domestic beers We came twice last week and each time I would have ordered 2 glasses of GOOD chardonay and my husband Miller Light if you offered them

We usually sit outside at Austins, but due to thunderstorms we had to sit inside. It was louder inside, and busy, so service wasn't quite as good as it usually is at Austins. The food was excellent as always, especially the little corn muffin appetizers and the cheese curds. Austins is one of our favorites in Incline Village, and is highly recommended!

Austin’s used to be one of our favorite restaurants. But no more. Many menu items were not available and the server failed to tell us. Couldn’t get a fancy burger because it was after 5. My husband had a hair in his very dry fries. He went away still hungry. Austin’s used to be known for their corn bread and a variety of pies. But no more. Only apple pie was available. Very disappointing. This local won’t be back.

I had fried chicken wings and spinach salad for dinner - wings crispy and spicy, salad HUGE with lots of blue cheese crumbles and sugared walnuts. Exactly what I was in the mood for. Hubby had pan fried trout which was a little under seasoned but well executed none the less. It came with a seemingly whole head of broccoli (HUGE!). Son had a bacon cheese burger with fries. What's not to like. Super attentive service. Will go back!

Such a weird experience. Walked in at 7.15. Had a reservation. About 8 tables in the restaurant in total. One table for two was available but piled with food that had not been cleared. Waited for 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged I was standing there. Three servers but they avoid looking at you! Got seated eventually. Table next to us got up and left as they had been waiting way too long. Not even a drink offered. All the empty tables were still cluttered with food and glasses after people had left with servers just walking past. So bizarre. Felt grubby and disorganized. 3 servers were working but seemed to disappear into the kitchen- think they were cooking as well! Food was sub par. Greasy and unappetizing. Avoid

We had reservations for 6:30PM, but got there around 6:20PM. It was quite packed so once we sat down, we didn't receive acknowledgement until 10 mins after. Server said two drinks on the house which was a super nice gesture. Food was delicious although I think their chilli could use bread or corn bread on the side. They charged us for the two drinks, but as soon as we informed them that the server said they were on the house due to lack of acknowledgement, they took them off. Overall, we love the ambiance of Austins and the food, but the service wasn't great when they are incredibly busy.

We booked Austin’s for New Year’s Eve dinner and it was truly awful. One of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. As soon as we arrived there was a horrendous smell and it didn’t go throughout the evening. We chose Austin’s because the kids wanted chicken wings. They were off. I asked for a lager and they’d run out of lager. They didn’t have any rose either. I ended up ordering a salad that was bland beyond belief and yet it was $18! Honestly, my kids have been making better salads since they were ten Years old. The burger was ok but way overpriced and they had no fruit juice options apart from pineapple.

Based on reviews, I had high expectations. I ordered the Ribeye for $38, and using my husband’s words “It’s the worst Ribeye I have ever had.” My kids got burgers, which were fine. Service was fine. Small restaurant, not much ambiance, so hoped the food would mask the lack of the “experience” effort. I love Incline and want to support local establishments, so hopefully this review is constructive so the restaurant can improve food quality.
