   The service was very welcoming and attentive. The food was actually very good as well as the desserts. We really enjoyed it, we'll definitely be back. Faces the ski slopes, weather was perfect with a nice view. They have a patio and indoor seating and heaters on the patio. They do have a kids menu as well.

   My daughter and I went for an after dinner “snack”. We had hot cocoa and warm cookies with warm milk for dipping. The warm milk was flavored with vanilla and the cookies were homemade gooey chocolate chip. Total comfort food on a snowy cold day. Our server was so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed talking to her about her experience living here in the US from her home in Argentina. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a relaxing evening.

   The food was great. The drinks were great. The service was not great. We had a reservation and waited at the host stand for 5 minutes before anyone came (they were not busy). The hostess was not welcoming. The service did not get better. The server would have been subpar at chili’s, let alone a restaurant that is presenting as more high end. Our drinks came after our appetizers and the bartender eventually walked them over. We had to ask that our waters be refilled (3 out of 4 glasses were empty). They charge a 3% “kitchen appreciation” fee, which is ridiculous-have the staff tip out the kitchen staff if you think there is inequality don’t pass on a fake fee. Or allow the guest to say where their tip should go. We would have gladly given the kitchen staff a greater share of the expected 20% front of the house tip, as again, the food was delicious.

   Not the experience we expected. 5:45 rez. Initial host greeted us with “do you have a rez?” Second host identified rez (first host didn’t even look up, smile etc) brought us to the table. Menu is all over the place. Initially impressed they didn’t have standard kids items. Ordered 2 kids salads, kids steak, kids trout, cauliflower, burger, pork porterhouse. Server, who was kind, had little to no knowledge about the menu. Server asked how we wanted meal to be coursed, and we said, (wrongfully assuming they would course normally) that we were flexible with the kitchen. First dish to come out within 5 minutes was kids trout. Followed by cauliflower, burger, one salad, another salad, kids steak and finally pork. This was spread over 10 minutes. Zero rhyme or rhythm. Trout was overdone—my guess is that it was sitting around as it came out within 5 minutes after the order was placed. Cauliflower was fine but felt like a dish from the aughts—sweet/slpice/hazelnuts with shishitos. It was like the chef just said f it and added a whole lot of trendy items. Kids salads were fine, fries were good. Burger (under the shared menu) was not a shareable item. It called itself French onion, but it was so damn sweet. Not shareable at all. Kids steak was tough, cooked to temp tho. Porterhouse had at least 1/2 an acorn squash in its presentation, and the most unbalanced sauce ever. Highly acidic and an over burnt butter. The spaetzl should have been presented crispy edged but was just soggy. Was in an out in under an hour. BIG proponent of kitchen appreciation fees, but when asked if 100% of the fee went to the kitchen, the server had no idea. Felt like a cluster f. Just peculiar all together. Edit. Cut and paste response from resto. Note to restaurant—don’t bother replying to guests if you don’t intend on making it a relevant/thoughtful reply.

   I requested a table for four through OpenTabkle, so when it showed a limited number of time slots available for our desired evening, I choose one. However, two days later, when we arrived, I was told our reservation was for only two people. The manager was kind enough to squeeze us in, but I was very disappointed in the OpenTable app and will not use it again. In addition to being cumbersome to use, and now beign submitted to regular, unwanted emails--it's actually just easier to call the restaurant itself and make the reservations. My four start review would have been five except for the OpenTable app (the food was spectacular and the server was great).

    Might be the worst $70 wagu steak sirloin or not, it was stringy and tastelessI. Could top the bad list not to mention soggy noodle lasagna . Dinks only here. No food for me again.

    The ambiance was nice and our waiter was lovely. The food was just decent, especially for the exhirbitany prices. Wagyu beef dish was dry and not super flavorful. Kids menu was nice, but also overpriced.

    Don’t go if you want a relaxing meal, the waiter was rushing like he had somewhere else to be and when our food finally arrived the manager told us to hurry because he needed the table for the next group. Very unprofessional, we will never go back.

    Food was excellent and well-presented. Service was prompt and featured a charming young waitress from Argentina. Do be prepared that this restaurant is expensive and budget at least $110 per diner. Worth a visit though.

    Service was very slow. We ordered a house red without looking at the menu (my bad) and was served a $30 glass of moist & beam. Appetizers arrived before cocktails. Steak was over cooked and poor quality for $72. Portions are small. Staff was vacuuming while we ate appetizers. Dessert was served while entrees sat on the table.

    We were seated upon arrival at the time of our reservation. Our party of 4 was escorted through the bar to the dining room. We loved the cocktails - tasty and pretty. I ordered the Health Insurance mocktail warm and found it to be delicious. We started with the meatball appetizer consisting if 3 large juicy servings which could have been shared by 6. The Bibb wedge and Ceaser salads were delicious and all mains were timed well, cooked correctly and nicely plated. The trout, 2 ribeyes steaks and scallops were all winners. Highly recommend the chocolate ship Cooke dessert- served directly from the oven with sweet milk for dipping. We all agreed that we need to come back. Definitely one of our new favorite Snowmass restaurants!

    -really good food, but not cheap and then they put a mandatory tip for the kitchen on and ask for another generous tip. It’s getting a bit out of hand, perhaps the rent should be a bit lower and the profit expectations of owners should be lowered. They are already using mainly J1 people for service so those guys don’t make much money either. Overall a somewhat US please t experience, felt like being taken to the cleaner’s. Not that much value for money. Suggestion: pay people what they deserve and put it all into the menu prices but don’t nickel and dime people

    I'd heard Aurum was amazing and that people staying here in Snowmass for a week return over and over. They were wonderful working around my wife's allergies and that was super. My pork itself was delish, but the presentation with spaetzle and dried up squash was meh and the dish was $49. We only had ONE cocktail, one mocktail (10 bucks for lavender lemonade), $9 for a roll (the serving is actually 4, but I only wanted one). All in all, over 160 bucks for a mediocre meal. I tipped well b/c it's not the server's fault, but we were underwhelmed and won't return.

    We’ve been to the other locations in Breckenridge and Steamboat and their food was outstanding; we came to the one in Snowmass for NYE and the food was really underwhelming. Maybe in a regular day/menu option it’d be different… but that day the set menu was very disappointing.

    Prefix NYE menu was a bit oddly composed to begin with. However the execution was terrible. Nearly every dish was bland, especially the duck pot pie. Pork tenderloin main course served dry as a bone with no sauce or gravy. On top of this, we had reserved a high top in the bar area. Instead we were placed in the dining room in a corner table hidden behind a wall. We didn't say anything because extracting ourselves would have been awkward given the guests at nearby tables - I'll leave it at that. Very disappointing evening. Probably one of our worst New Year's Eve dinners in a long time.

    We went here on new years and it was literally the worst dining experience we had ever had. We did the tasting menu with wine pairings and they skipped courses, forgot pairings, and brought us our dishes all at different times. The food also was below average which was incredibly disappointing given the price point and our high hopes for a special experience on new years.

    Wine pour maybe 3 oz. Waiter had wrong order. Food cold. Trout tasted horrible. Wrong order took 20 minutes after rest of table was served. Will not be back. Also too expensive for the quality.

    We waited for over 20 minutes after being seated for someone to acknowledge us. (We did have a reservation.). I even went to 2 neighboring restaurants to see if we could get a table before a waitress came! My husband got the pork, which was good. My kids got kids’ meals because I saw they had a kids’ menu on their website, but no one offered the menu. Their meal was okay. I got 4 tiny rolls for $9 (they were burnt, but still tasted okay) and a Caesar Salad, which was pretty bad. The cookies for dessert were great!

    The whole family agreed Levi was the best server we ever had !! He even made the Alabama family sweet tea ! We complimentary and engaging of each person in our family. He even took family pics inside and out by by the fire.
