We love it here. Our first time and look forward to many more. The food, the cocktails and service were all amazing.
Visiting Breckenridge and we were looking to try somewhere new. We are so happy to have obtained a reservation at Aurum. The food was outstanding from beginning to end. Presentation and the melding of flavors was exceptional. Speaking of exceptional our server Francesca was attentive and helpful.
This is a top notch establishment that I would recommend to and “Foodie”
We never miss Aurum on a trip to Breckenridge. Easily top 5 of outstanding restaurants at Breck. Service is always friendly and professional and the food is delicious!
Food and wine was excellent. Service was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely go again!
Nice ambience and the service was good, but unfortunately the food was WAY too salty. Four different dishes and they were all too salty. They need to fix that before anyone in our group would be able to recommend eating there.
Amazing food and great service. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. One of the top restaurants in Breck.
Amazing! We had a great time. Best meal in breck for sure. Will come back. The oysters were super fresh
Cauliflower was amazing as was there pasta of the day.
Everything we ate was amazing! Great COVID precautions as well.
Aurum Never disappoints. We go there every time we’re in Breckenridge. They’re handling of Covid protocols was flawless. We had a very safe and enjoyable meal. Our server Erik was fantastic.
The beef tartare and brussels sprouts were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Delaney was our server and she was so nice and kind and helpful with the menu and suggestions, it really made for a great dining experience. Will 100% be back the next time we are in Breckenridge. Great job to the whole Aurum team.
Great meal. We got there in time for happy hour and had 1/2 off drinks and apps. My husband got the salmon, his favorite dish so far on our journey through Colorado.
Such an incredible restaurant! I brought my two daughters for a girls night. They had a fantastic kids menu which made my life so much easier. The regular menu was sophisticated and thoughtful - everything was delicious!! We will be back :)
Valentine’s Day! Amazing menu, slightly limited but overall amazing. The cookies for dessert are TO DIE FOR
The food was amazing!! The server was knowledgeable and engaging. If I am ever any near Colorado again, I have to eat at Aurum!
We went with a large group for dinner on our annual ski vacay and it was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating and our meal was good. Several of us shared the 50 oz tomahawk - great flavor. Also they are in a good location one block off Main Street.
Francesca was amazing! Very down to earth. Lots of great recommendations. Every single item we ordered to eat and drink was fabulous! Will definitely recommend to others.
Great dining experience all around.
Older hostess lady was a nightmare to deal with. Everything else was fantastic.
The food was delicious, with a top-notch presentation. Even the kids meals were executed beautifully. I was surprised what a great happy hour selection they had for an upscale restaurant. We will look forward to returning.
The best meal we had in Breckenridge- which was a difficult decision to say because all of our meals were fantastic! We had Michael and he was very attending to us. Thanks For an amazing dining experience. From cocktails to apps to entrees... everything was amazing. I had the scallops special and my boyfriend had the duck confit. We got the crudité and squash burrata for appetizers... wow!
Happy hour- oysters, yellow fin tuna, Caesar salad, Korean bbq chicken, Brussels sprouts- all were exceptional! 2nd year in a row we made sure we made a reservation. Visiting from S Florida on ski vacation. Thanks Aurum!
Amazing time! Grayson and team blew us away! Thanks Aurum - will be back!
Absolutely phenomenal. One of the most outstanding restaurants in Breckenridge.
The trout and lamb shank were excellent. Service was outstanding.
First time in Breckinridge. It was a beautiful drive in from Evergreen. Ambiance, food and drinks were all so good. The staff were all so pleasant. Hubby enjoyed his lamb & Manhattan. I enjoyed the duck & oysters. Will definitely be returning next time I’m in Colorado.
So cute and romantic
Everything was outstanding! The duck was so delicious.
Such a nice spot for HH or date night. Everything was top notch!
Amazing meal with top notch service. Well worth a visit.
All the food was excellent. Our waiter, Ed was friendly and attentive. He also handled an annoying “review” from the table next to us exceptionally well.
The curried cauliflower will blow your mind. Who new it could be so fluffy ans good.
All was great until we received the bill. A 3% “Back Of House” fee was added. The owner should not pass his labor cost on to the diner as a fee on the bill. We didn’t encounter this added fee anywhere else in Breckenridge.
Add it to the price of the meal if you need to pay the kitchen staff more.
Our meal was excellent! The Crispy Curried Cauliflower was out-of-this-world! The daily pasta and Burrata/Quinoa salad were also excellent. The trout was just so-so. Our biggest disappointment was the service: our waiter was overly-emotive and inattentive. We understand Covid has changed things up, but when he walked past our table several times without checking in or even making eye contact, we were at a loss. When I eventually received the nice glass of wine I had ordered with dinner (it came half way through, by the way), he never came back to check on us. The wine was 'corked' (I think I've returned wine only twice before). Eventually we caught the attention of another staff member who immediately brought over some options (of course, I chose a different wine). Literally within 2 minutes, our original server came over to remove all alcohol from the table (county restrictions). We asked if he could clear the other tables first and then come on back as I had just gotten this $16 glass of vino. "No" was his response! So, bottoms-up: what a waste! Then he mentioned a "birthday dessert" for our daughter. With hesitancy, we choose the creme brûlée with 3 spoons. Soon the check was presented: wine, dessert all included. What a shame - I will never go back and certainly not recommend Aurum when there are so many other lovely customer-friendly restaurants in Breckenridge.
PS. In all the Open Table reviews I've made (hundreds), this is probably the 2nd bad review I've ever given. Sorry, but true.
The food was really nice but the menu was a really odd collection of different cuisines. They also didn’t have the fried chicken which was why we went. To compound matters when we asked about this the waitress told us the fried chicken was only on the menu to attract a lower end clientele in the off-season.
The food was really nice so we would recommend.
Our favorite place in Breckenridge-love happy hour
Incredible food, whatever you get it will not disappoint. The staff is great! Highly recommend a night out at Aurum.
Excellent happy hour, one of our favorite Breck places to dine
Loved everything about this spot. Portions were great for the price point and all the food was local and delicious. Great balance to cocktails as well! Server was awesome? Wish I could remember her name!
Food was sub par for the price. I expected more
Holy Moly!!! This restaurant was INCREDIBLE!!! We tired 11 different menu items and each one was insanely delicious! We started out with the Parker House Rolls, BBQ'd Brussels Sprouts, Prime Beef Tartare, Burrata & Stuffed Squash, and their special Pasta of the Day dish. For dinner I had the Rocky Mountain Trout (which was amazing) and my friends tried the Hanger Steak, Prime Tenderloin, and Duck Breast (all gave raving reviews about each). And last but certainly not least we indulged in 2 of the dessert items the Smoked White Chocolate Creme Brûlée and the Warm Milk and Cookies. Wooowwww both were so enjoyable but I think we all agreed our favorite part of the whole meal was the Warm Milk and Cookies! If you are considering Aurum on a night out for dinner I highly recommend and seriously cannot say enough good things about the food and service!
