   The place was elegant. Very nice staff. Food was good for my husband & friends. I didn’t like the filet but he got the ribeye! Overall, good experience

   Auburn City did a nice job tonight. Matt was our server and he is always in it. The food was very good. I had a the pork chop and my wife had the fish special that was great. After dinner I was going to have an Irish coffee and Matt recommended another after dinner drink and I am glad he did. It was fantastic and I will have it again.

   We LOVE your restaurant!!! We are from Huntington and travel over an hour, 2 to 3 times a years to take our elderly mother out for dinner. I have one suggestion,.....tell your hostess to always make sure that the servers know that they have rec'd another party of customers,.....We waited 11 minutes after being seated before anyone came to our table and it wasn't a busy night downstairs. We rec'd no water or offer for a drink order until I reached out to one of the two waitresses who made eye contact with me to see if we might place a drink order. Apparently what happened between the two waitresses that were covering the downstairs was a mis-communication regarding which one of them had us. And yet, we were right there, at a table right next to a couple that was being served. Once the waitresses figured out which one had us the service was excellent and amazing so I'm not blaming them or anyone but a simple suggestion that once the hostess completes a seating, just make sure that a waitress knows that she/he has had another party seated in their section. That's all! We'll be back, don't worry. We celebrated my husband's and my birthdays (March 5 and 10) and the complimentary deserts were outstanding! Again, we'll be back!!! Thank you!

   Our server Frank was outstanding, he made the visit worthwhile. We celebrated our anniversary, received a card from I presume the owners, nice touch. I had hoped to be seated with a reservation stating it was our anniversary, perhaps in a corner or away from a larger crowd. Unfortunately that was not the case and it was a bit loud with a few large parties seated near the front of the restaurant. Great building and nice menu selections.

    Auburn Steak House is a beautiful historic place. The main dining area can be a little louder but the back room is very quiet and private. The server was on the ball and could not have done more to make us feel comfortable. The sun dried tomato dip was good and had a nice presentation. The salads were nice but was surprised the beet spinach salad has canned diced beets. The salmon was served with skin side up which is not accurate for serving. The filets were over cooked and the sides of risotto and Brussels sprouts were average. The place has tremendous potential. Maybe we just hit in a bad night.

    Be aware that OpenTable has glitches apparently. Booked the reservation a little over a month before Valentines Day with where we wanted to sit & who we wanted our server to be. Gave three server options we enjoy. We ended up being seated at the bar rail because of the glitch because apparently OpenTable should not have offered us bar seating. My fiancé had to sit by the dirty dishes of the bar rail which he was not impressed with on what was supposed to be a romantic date night. We were also told on holidays, they can not accommodate a request for a certain server which really bummed us out. Thankfully the bar tender had a great vibe & tried to make our night enjoyable. Like I said, just be aware OpenTable reservations have glitches.

Typically, we're able to override that feature as long as the timing of other reservations does not interfere.     The roasted new york strip was the best ever, our waitress was fantastic, and the restaurant was first class. We will definetly recommend to others and are already planning our next time to visit.

    As always this was a great meal. We went for our daughter's birthday and they even had a card waiting for her. Steaks were great, drinks were great and dessert was great. Cost is a case of you get what you pay for. If you are having a date night, I highly suggest requesting to be seated upstairs.

    The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is great. We had a very good server but the steak was underwhelming at best. I wish I could rate it higher but I have honestly had better steaks at chain steakhouses. 😢

    Food and drinks were good. Waitress was attentive and nice. When we made our reservation we asked to sit upstairs and they didn’t accommodate. $15 for a lemon drop in a small martini glass. $200 for two meals and 4 drinks including tip. Not the greatest value for our money.

    We absolutely love the Auburn City Steakhouse. I’m not sure about the cuts of beef. I order the New York Strip almost every time we eat out and the last few times it seems like it may be a sirloin steak cut. I will go back again to make sure . A note: we eat out 3 or 4 nights a week and typically do steakhouses

    My family and I dined here to celebrate our son's 16th birthday. It was also our first visit but won't be our last! The salads were fresh and tasty. The scallops were amazing and the steaks were cooked to perfection! Our server had several tables but did an excellent job of keeping up and making our experience a terrific one.

    We had a great meal and experience this evening for our group of four. As usual, the front of the house staff are very welcoming and so well trained. They create a special experience every time. Our server, Raven, was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. Deviled Egg appetizer really tasty. Shrimp, Salmon, Filet, Prime Rib were our entrees and all were delicious. The Shrimp with kimchi was excellent. Very good experience.

    Food was very good had the prime rib and it was outstanding. A lot of selections and very well priced. Service was very good as well. Beautiful restaurant. Will certainly make the drive from Fort Wayne again.

    Austin is a true GEM to the Auburn Steakhouse! His immaculate Old Fashioned's always have me ordering another. He is very knowledgeable about the menu & gives great advice on what to chose! I highly recommend you chose him as your host for the evening for a great experience! Oh & the food was good too!
