We were looking for something different for a Sunday brunch and we certainly found it. Interesting, and delicious, menu. Friendly and efficient staff. Clean and inviting restaurant! We will definitely come back.

Escagot ought to have had minced parsley, not just butter and mild garlic. Bland and a bit dried out. Soft bread for dunking would have been better than the dried, not toasted bread. The potato fries were grossly under cooked and cold in center. Coated with lots of grease. Reminiscent of twice cooked potatoes which the cook forgot to cook a second time. Salad greens were fresh and crunchy. The iced Arnold Palmer was refreshing. Oh well!

I went for Sunday brunch and sat outside. My table ordered the ham & cheese omelet, onion soup, and traditional breakfast: eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a baguette. The omelet was good, it was a nice size with plenty of cheese and ham, but nothing came with it. The onion soup was very good, with lots of onion and cheese on top, and the broth was wonderful. The traditional breakfast was standard tasting with 4 pieces of bacon, the potatoes were chunks of red potatoes, and the bread was a small round piece of baguette. The coffee was not good, it was very very weak and watery. The French press was not much better, too much water for the amount of coffee grounds. The outdoor setting was nice, with nice music playing through a speaker. However, many music genres were playing; it would have been nice to stick with Parisian music or jazz. The tables are wire mesh and could be replaced. Ours was loose and kept moving around.

This is the second Father's Day we've been to brunch. We made reservations and arrived on time. We were seated, and everything seemed fine. Then, we were completely ignored. After about the 8th time of being walked past, I stopped a waitress, and she got the job done. We weren't even in her section, and she stepped up and took our order. Food was delivered promptly. Both Father's Day experiences were like this. Not staffed appropriately. We tipped our waitress well. Her service was excellent. We sat outside, which we like to do, but the tables are too small. Especially for 4 people. Food is good, but we always leave hungry. A complimentary basket of mini Croissants and butter would be nice to have when seated. Especially if staffing is an issue. We almost got up and left. Some things could be tweaked a bit for a better experience.

We had a bad experience about a year ago however wanted to give it another chance as we used to love going to Auberge for both brunch and dinner. We went for the Father’s Day brunch this year and it was very disappointing overall. Our service was lacking and the coffee was very weak. The corque madam was absolutely amazing however I order the quiche Lorraine.. I have had this dish many many times however it was delivered with massive chunks of potatoes which I have never seen in a quiche Lorraine before. If you’re going to change a classic dish you should either give a description or change the name to potato bacon quiche. Very disappointed as we were really hoping auberge was back to its prime as it was a few years ago.
