ATX Cocina experiments with the boundaries of Mexican cuisine. We have taken traditional Mexican dishes and elevated them with modern approaches and techniques. Corn, the basis of the Mexican cuisine for thousands of years, is also the foundation of our kitchen. We nixtamalize and process our masa in house sourcing it from heirloom varieties of corn grown by small family farms in Mexico.

    Was originally worried it'd be super overpriced, but the portions were great and food tasted fantastic! Would recommend trying a bunch of the small plates and entrees are large enough to split- we tried the short rib and split among 3 people with 4 side dishes

    ATX Cocina’s food is always on point. We had the guacamole, queso fundido, crab tostadas, salmon, pork chop and the crab rellenos. Everything was perfect but the crab rellenos were something else. Absolutely amazing. I hope they can keep these on the menu. We haven’t had bad service here until tonight. Guy just wasn’t attentive and kept forgetting to bring what we’d asked for or bring it way later (asked for more bottled water mid meal, came after the plates were clear).

    One of our favorite restaurants in Austin. Everything we tried was incredible. Atmosphere was great. And fantastic service by our waitress, Summer. We'll definitely be back!

    Food and service were great. A bit pricey, but it is family style to share a few things. Probably has the best Paloma I’ve ever had.

    The food. We've eaten at many nice restaurants. This was one of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was amazing. We ate outside and despite it being 92 degrees everything was delightful. Go here. It's worth the $$$.

    The service here sucks. You have to beg for a margarita and then wait 30 mins before it arrives. And the waiter took 45 min breaks in between checking on us. The food is excellent but the service sucks so much it makes it feel overpriced
