We sat outside. Great food and service. Excellent happy hour before 6 pm.
Will always be one of my favorite places in Austin. Pricey but the food is we worth it
Unbelievable food and great service! We ordered margaritas, guacamole, shrimp ceviche, and pollo asado. The margaritas were extremely refreshing and our waiter, Gregory, gave us excellent recommendations. The guacamole was very fresh and surprisingly well portioned for three people. The chicken was some of the best (and most flavorful) I’ve ever had in my life. Gregory enhanced our overall experience and welcomed us as soon as we sat down. He checked on us regularly and made sure our experience was superb. Definitely the best service we had in Austin. Will definitely be back!
Food was outstanding, our waiter was amazing, but it took over an hour to get our entree after our appetizer came out. They tried to make things right by sending out another appetizer and a salad while we waited. We would definitely go back but hope they don’t have this problem again.
Simply the best steak experience in Austin. Great service and friendly environment. Solid wine list. Order extra and take home the leftovers.
Food was excellent but you have to budget extra time for the much larger steaks. Most foods triggered the magic 4 tastes sensations. It got busy real fast and wait service was slower for sure. Good recommendation from the waiter.
Buddies having dinner. Food was amazing as always.
ATX Cocina is, usually, bang on. Service, Food, Ambience. Tonight, sadly, it was not. Service was slow, non-attentive (I had to go get my own dishes after multiple signals for help), dish temp was cool to cold, and pacing of the meal was way off. When we got our drinks and food- they were spectacular as always. But some dishes were out of step with the meal and cold. While they eventually came by and offered to bring a new dish we were already finished our meal (just as a side dish arrived). A manager had come over and kind of dropped in a "everything tasting good?" but carried on before I could comment. Oh, well!
Great, food. Lively environment. Will definitely return. Highly recommend
We has a lovely evening.
Great service and delicious food.
Great customer service and ambience for happy hour and/or dine in general
Loved our waiter!
Amazing food, all without having to worry about gluten, and best drinks and cocktails in all of Austin. The palomas are to die for and make all others in town a huge disappointment.
Stellar all around.
Disappointed because they were out of the 2 fish entree’s and one of the seafood appetizers. We were there on Memorial Day so that could have been the problem.
ATX Cocina is always an easy, enjoyable experience. The food was fantastic, and my goodness the flan is just flawless.
This is one of the best places in all of Austin. The food is top notch, the drinks are great and the place is a whole vibe. Great for casual or formal occasions
My partner and I were celebrating our 4 year anniversary and ATX Cocina made us feel so special!! They brought us two glasses of champagne and a sweet card signed by the staff. The drinks were amazing and the food absolutely delicious. For drinks, we recommend the Coco Loco. Our server was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the lively and fun atmosphere. My partner and I both agreed we would make a tradition out of coming to ATX Cocina each year on our anniversary, it was that good!
Amazing patio. Amazing Caesar salad and veggie sides! We love the margaritas there!
Food was excellent but very expensive.
It was an amazing dinner experience. Food was outstanding and the service was so good
Amazing food! And it’s all gluten free - I was in heaven. The short ribs were the best but everything we had was beautiful and mouthwatering. Will definitely go again.
Great food, great drinks!
One of the few restaurants that are worth the money!
It has a great environment but we were a group of 7 and none of us was impressed by the food. The best plate from the table and everyone agreed was the cesare salad.
Loved it! Food, service and drinks are always worth it
Wonderful atmosphere and food, great restaurant for small or large parties
Excellent interesting and great food would definitely recommend
Delicious food. Great environment. Loved everything about it.
Our waiter Clayton was SUBLIME!! We hadn't been since Covid hit so the menu had changed a bit. He let us know allllll the delicious new things and made sure we got a cocktail from pre covid that wasn't on the current list. We were in a leisurely ordering mood and he was most patient. The food was outstanding!! I could eat the hamache and queso fundido every single day. The charred broccoli was so NOT charred and it was cold. He immediately noticed (he wasn't the server) and took it back for a new one which didn't disappoint. We got a delicious salmon dish that we split between three of us. It was such a great meal! One of our party is gluten free so she enjoyed being able to choose from an ENTIRE menu of delicious creative options. It was pouring rain but we were able to sit out on the patio due to the tent/canopy. Can't wait to go back. If you go, hopefully you'll be seated in Clayton's station. He honestly just was the chef's kiss of the night.
Summer was the most amazing server. Patient. Attentive. Did a terrific job of explaining everything. Great food. Will definitely come back!
This was our first time dining IN at ATX Cocina, after doing take-out from them multiple times during quarantine. The space is beautiful, large, and very modern. We did valet parking for $10, so not sure how parking works otherwise. Our server was very good at communicating, and answered our questions thoughtfully and made sure all of our needs were met - while also giving us space to enjoy the dinner with our company. The main negative I would have was that it was very loud inside, despite the tables being somewhat distanced (guessing due to protocols). For a Monday night, I would have preferred a little more quiet, but could see that kind of energy being fun on a weekend. We initially had patio reservations, but they moved us inside due to rain earlier in the day, so not sure if the patio might have been a bit more quiet. We will definitely be back to find out, because the food was absolutely amazing. The pulpo y chorizo was the star of the night, and the pequeno lorenzo to drink was a great combination. Would definitely recommend!
We had an 8:30 pm reservation and the restaurant was pretty empty bur we still had to wait an hour and a half for our food. The meal was delicious but the service left a lot to be desired.
Food was fantastic, service was amazing. All top notch!!
As usual, we had an awesome Sunday afternoon happy hour here. The food is always fresh and tasty and the drinks are consistent. We sat out on the lively patio, which was very nice. Unfortunately a few sets of children were playing together and allowed to leave their parents and run around the patio & between tables. I really wished the servers or management would have discouraged the activity, but eventually a mom noticed the agitation of patrons and corralled them in. The kids didn’t take their seats but the running around ended, so that was good.
Wow. Best Mexican we’ve ever had.
Really good food, great service!
Food was so good and our server was outstanding! Everyone loved the drinks and atmosphere.
The food is so fresh and delicious and the service impeccable from the time you are welcomed, to the bartenders and waitstaff everything is always above the highest bar of hospitality! This latest time along with the best meal we especially enjoyed our server Taylor!
This is a place that I will definitely come back to when I visit Austin again. The food was phenomenal, our server Taylor was so great. She was friendly and she did a great job. I had the Pollo Asado, and let me tell you that was the best chicken I've ever had. The drinks are also very good.
Just an outstanding meal-salmon was excellent
Guacamole and chips incredible
Even the brussel sprouts which my partner ordered was surprisingly good-would order again, and I thought I could never like brussel sprouts
