We sat outside and even though it was hot we felt comfortable. They have large fans, umbrellas, & a large tree shading the deck. The food was excellent! The server was very nice and helpful when we had questions. We highly recommend this restaurant! We also suggest getting the house margarita😉

Good food, HH prices are reasonable, but regular prices are insane. Definitely recommend fish tacos for HH. Wish there were mocktails for better price. Paying $13 for a non alcoholic drink is robbery. Inquired about getting a mocktail for HH price (there were 2 different alcoholic drinks for $10 on HH menu), but was denied. I wouldn’t go back unless it was HH. Valet parking for $12 in a garage right next to restaurant.

I haven’t been here in a while and the menu has changed quite a bit. Prices have increased and everything on the menu packs some heat. As someone who is really sensitive to anything spicy my options were limited and disappointing. Portions are also huge and all of our appetizers were the size of entrees. The food was still good but just things to note before dining here!

The Carne Asada was amazing, but the portion size did not reflect $48. The restaurant was so nice and upscale, but it was probably 78° inside. Too hot.

We love coming to ATX Cocina to dine. The service is always wonderful and the food is spectacular! Being part of the LGBT+ community we love that we are treated no different and given respect and they are very mindful of my food allergies. It’s our favorite spot.

Food was outstanding and the restaurant is lovely. It is noisy and the server had too many tables, so we had to wait for her attention a couple of times, but she was very nice and did not seem flustered or harried.

Convinced I could eat my way through every item on the menu and be completely and utterly delighted with every bite! Bursting with creative flavor, beautiful presentation, friendly service. Sopes, burrata, roasted chicken- highly recommend!

Got short rib, corn side, burratta and another small plate (I forget name) but all delicious. Added on horchata ice cream for dessert. Dani, server, was very attentive and helped us celebrate my boyfriends birthday with a special ice cream for him. Thanks all!

The food was magnificent. The ceviche was so good I could eat it every night. The Caesar salad was next level. Our server was one of the coolest most hospitable people I’ve ever met.

Wow. I was blown away! I was a little on the fence before arrival because not all the reviews are 5 starts but I was beyond impressed with the food. The service was thorough and straight forward. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful... What we got that: Guac- delicious. If you're extremely hungry get it for a snack, but don't fill up. Oysters- these were absolutely delicious! I love oysters and eat them a good bit. These were very very memorable. Ceasar salad- SO SO delicious. Massive portion. The dressing with super creamy but very lemon/limey. Wow. Brussels and corn sides: both Phenomenal. The Brussels had a pesto type sauce on the bottom it was delicious. The corn had a chipotle mayo on the bottom... so so yummy. Mains: my husband got the tuna main. Delicious. Lots of herbs around the crust. I got the Salmon. This was my least favorite. I should have clarified I like a cooked salmon more on the medium well side... it had delicious flavor and yummy crunchy rice. We all got different cocktails that were recommended by the waiter and we're all super tasty. Unfortunately no photos we had 3 small children with us. l'd highly highly recommend ATX and we'll be back on our next visit.

WOW. Knocked our socks off. Fantastic. Had a couple of the fish main course items and a ceviche dish for appetizer + the Tres Chocolates dessert was to die for. Lots of margarita choices as well as the mule. All delicious. Will totally be back soon. YUM

Logan was our server, he was extremely knowledgeable and gave us exceptional service and recommendations! We enjoyed everything he recommended, from the drinks(tried a local tequila called LALO (created by Don Julio’s grandson) to apps to main course! It was our first time and won’t be our last! Next time we visit Austin we will definitely return!

This restaurant is so loud that it’s hard to consider it truly upscale. Also the banquette seating is annoying because every time the person behind you moves you get shaken. Not relaxing at all. Server was good although a bit slow at times. Food was very tasty.

After a little hiccup last week due to a misunderstanding, my husband and I returned to ATX Cocina last night for dinner. We are so very glad we did as the experience was superb. We’ve been holidaying in Austin for 12 days and have frequented at least as many dining venues during that time. Not only was the contemporary Mexican cuisine absolutely first class but the cocktails were the best we’ve experienced anywhere in Austin. On top of that, the service is excellent and genuine. We’d like to thank Logan who served us so well last night and also the lovely young lady who served us last week and whom we had the pleasure to talk to again during this visit (sorry we didn’t pick up your name). We originally chose ATX Cocina due to its fabulous reviews on Tripadvisor. We now know why it is so highly rated so much so that we’ve booked to return again tonight on the last night of our holiday. Many thanks to Logan for securing a table for us in an unsurprisingly fully booked restaurant. Of all the places we’ve eaten, ATX Cucina ranks equal first with one other we’ve loved whilst being here. Just go, you won’t regret it.

I ordered masa: huarache = forest mushrooms, fried tomato salsa, beans, avocado, queso fresco, arugula. It was served on a bread-sliced shaped masa and was a delicious meal. The service was high end. This is a staple of elevated dining in downtown Austin. The margaritas were great too. My friends had the Ceasar, guacamole (which was enough for 6 people) and the machete which was a delicious fried rolled taco. Very impressed with the overall experience!
