Nestled under the oaks on the edges of the Irish Channel, Magazine Street, and historic Garden districts, this hidden gem is one the best contemporary Creole dining experiences that one can find in the city.                                         We had an incredible brunch at Atchafalaya while celebrating my husband’s birthday. The staff made it extra special by decorating the table, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was absolutely delicious — we ordered the duck hash and the shrimp and grits, and honestly, the shrimp and grits might be the best in town. The biscuits were fantastic too. Overall, a beautiful meal and a great vibe.

                                        Oh my goodness! Our 4th time there and the best of them all. Char grilled oysters were huge and fresh. A whale sized soft shell crab done perfectly and the chocolate dessert was over the top. Reasonably priced drinks and wines and I could not possibly be happier.
