Sat outside so no real ambiance or noise. Food was very good for all. My steak came out rare when I was looking for medium. They fixed it for me quickly and to my liking. I will definitely return. Felt a bit over priced. $50 for an 8 Oz filet with individual side of mashed potato and green beans. In Dallas where I live this would have been $8-10 cheaper.
This was our second time at Atchafalaya for brunch and there was an awesome jazz trio this time. Great food, service and atmosphere.
Fabulous on all levels!
Superb food, excellent service, and even though traffic caused occasional disruptions the outdoor tables are very pleasant.
It was our first time dining at this restaurant.
The food was great, setting was nice and location was good!
We would definitely return!
Food and service great. Out of towners loved. Apple cider mimosa…the best.
We had dinner here our last night in New Orleans. The food was delicious. We started off with the fried green tomatoes. They were wonderful. Then I had the shrimp and grits. Wasn't sure I would like grits, but they were incredible. The shrimp were super tender and the flavors from the sauce and tomatoes were perfectly balanced. Soooo good! We finished with the tres leches bread pudding. Also a great choice! The service was exceptional and the atmosphere authentic! Southern charm at its best!
Corey is amazing
This is one of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans, and the most consistent. The service is always wonderful (thanks Andrew!) and it's a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. This trip I ordered the fall daquiri (excellent), gumbo (very good), fish curry (excellent), and blue cheese flan (excellent and surprising).
I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
Server was excellent and knowledgeable. Food delicious and cocktail hit the spot!
Had the chicken and waffles and it was AMAZING! He food is awesome here and very well priced.
Brunch- food was amazing! Live music made it all the more special.
Always a treat. Beautiful food and friendly service.
This is probably one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food was incredible! I got the shrimp and grits and it was to die for. The owner, Tony, came to talk to us and was the nicest, sweetest man. He gave us a free appetizer (the raviolo which was so delicious!!) and a glass of wine. A Louis native so we bonded over that. This restaurant is a must. Friendly staff, amazing food, owner is attentive and caring with his guests. I can’t tell you the last time I had such a wonderful dining experience! Will be back anytime I’m in NOLA. Thank you!!!
As usual, the food was
This has proved to be our best dining experience thus far during our five day visit to New Orleans - service was friendly and efficient / very attentive - food and wine was outstanding and value priced
Fantastic sauces, incredibly fresh seafood, delicious cocktails. Everything about this restaurant was perfect. It is a little noisy because everyone is having fun, even the outside tables, but man what a great dinner option!!
Brought my out of town guest in for Brunch.. always a win.
Food was very good. Wait staff also. Cool vibe. Our party of six all enjoyed it.
After having a less than stellar meal at one of the old grande dame restaurants in the Quarter, it was a delight to enjoy a truly stellar meal at Atchafalaya.
I had the chicken and waffle. Oh my goodness! Highly recommend. The others in my party had duck hash (fabulous), and two orders of the bayou benedict. Skip the $5 biscuit—griddle cooked and hard. All else, wonderful.
Delicious food. Best meal we had in our 4 day visit. Also a bit more reasonable cost. Unfortunately we were seated next to the “loud” table, but we didn’t
complain. All staff very friendly and competent
Mixologist knows what he's doing. Drinks are excellent. So is the food.
The food was delicious. Excellent sides and desserts.
Fantastic evening! Great food, great service, great cocktails, interesting menu choices.
Great assortment of fabulous food. Outdoor dining was perfect. Service was excellent.
Great place for dining experience in New Orleans. Fantastic food, warm ambiance. Great atmosphere, artwork, and staff.
Our server took 20 minutes to greet us or take a drink order. He was spending his time talking to another table and put their orders in and got them drinks before we were brought any drink. The food was amazing as always!
Absolute stellar dining experience! This place is a must visit when you are in New Orleans. Our small party was celebrating a mile stone birthday and they made it a wonderful dining experience. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the pork chop and will return again as soon as possible
Everything was delicious across the board. Their use of fresh herbs really enhances your taste experience. Loved it!
Food was delicious and the table ordered multiple items from the menu and all were excellent. Waiter was new but did an adequate job.
Amazing food. Fried green tomatoes were excellent as was the curry entree. Tres leches bread pudding for dessert was to die for. Treat yourself to a glass of the Yalumba muscat for dessert. It’s worth it!
We had a great brunch experience!
Celebrated my husband’s birthday. Outdoor seating was imperative. There was great outdoor seating with wonderful atmosphere. The temperature wasn’t too cold, but they had heaters if necessary. The service was perfect. Everyone had a wonderful attitude and made dining out the experience it should be. Our food was fresh, delicious and beautifully plated. Everyone left happy, full and looking forward to returning. Thanks for a great evening!
Atxhafalaya never disappoints. The food and service were excellent!
Increible, el chicken waffle y la hamburguesa!!!
What a marvelous neighborhood restaurant! The menu is creative, the service wonderfully friendly! The owner tony even stopped by our table to check on us. We will definitely be back!
Best meal we had during our four day stay. Was here 3 years ago for brunch...came back for dinner this time. Will always be on our to go place!!!
Great menu and great service. We look forward to getting back and trying other menu items.
