We had reservations and arrived about 20 minutes early. We were seated immediately. The host, server, and overall ambience were very nice and inviting. We experienced an intimate dinner with amazing food and service.
Wonderful experience at Atchafalaya! Loved the decor, the music system turned to just the right volume, the service and of course the food. The shrimp and grits was the very best we've ever had. The chef even came by the table and asked how everything was.
Disappointed. The waiter seemed clueless about some things, we were sitting outside but had to go inside get our own ice after asking for more twice, then he took the fan that was next to our table (it was a very hot day) and moved it to the next table over. Then he took my wine glass which was still half full.... When asked if we could share the fan or get another he just said no. The table was very wobbly had to ask him twice to bring something to put under the table leg to correct it. The food was OK but not great like I remember from eating there in the past. Anyway I understand things are difficult now but he was not a good waiter in a city where wait staff are usually very professional and good.

Our server, Levon was delightful and attentive. The shrimp and grits were favorable and cooked nicely. My salad of strawberries and pecans was very nice, and the chocolate, pecan oie was excellent.

Crabmeat has not been picked clean for shells. Presentation was sloppy, served in a bowl with spinich on the side rather than as part of Eggs Benedict stack and all were sitting in excess spinich juice-not very appetizing.

We’ve been for brunch and loved it, so we tried the Coolinary menu and it was fantastic! We got to sit outside right next to a fan, which really made the whole experience more comfortable on a hot August day. We will be back for more!

The highlight of our experience was definitely our server. He was pleasant, attentive, and funny. We had the Brussels for an appetizer, and the salad with cornbread croutons, both were really good. The main course was good but not outstanding. Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience here.

My daughter and I had dinner, the food was great and service was attentive and nonintrusive; perfect! We had shrimp and grits and redfish...the grits were delicious and the redfish was perfect. First time diners and will be back; very enjoyable experience.

We went for my birthday brunch on a MONDAY! We received a lot of special attention. And the food, as always, was superb! I missed the Bloody Mary bar, but I understand why it is suspended during COVID. We love Atchafalaya and will be back!!

Everything was SPECTACULAR!!!! We had a party of 6 for my mom’s birthday. The setup was beautiful. Our server was awesome and Chef Ramsey even came out to greet us. He later returned with a glass of champagne for my mom. It was the sweetest gesture & MOST appreciated! We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch and would HIGHLY recommend!!! The steak & eggs were delicious and the waffle comes out beautifully plated. Wonderful hospitality here!!! THANK YOU CHEF RAMSEY & ALL THE STAFF!!!

From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Chef stopped by the table to explain some of the specials and menu features. When you talk about reconstituting figs in red wine, I’m all in! Fancy words for fancy food but it is kept casual and classy at the same time. All ingredients were exceptionally fresh and flavorful. It did not disappoint!!

My boyfriend (Greg) and I came her Sunday night to celebrate a few things. A new career change for him and our anniversary. It was a little later then we’d like for dinner but as traditional locals we were running around all day & this was a spur of the moment kinda day for us. So we took advantage of that & got there right around 7:50 pm. Greg has been their prior, he knew I would love it. I quickly made reservations online while we were on our way (which was super simple). When we arrived. The building itself is super adorable, I was so intrigued. We walked in & was greeted by one of the owners immediately. Very sweet women. I told her I think we have reservations I’m not sure if I succeeded. Apparently it worked & she walked us to our table. As we walked to our table I really took in the ambiance & was smiling ear to ear. I got really excited and said this is so beautiful. She smiled & began to explain how they do things for brunch & for diner, catering to each dinning experience. I was being a dork and fell completely in awe. Our waiter greeted us with water and suggested some drinks from the bar. I’m a huge wino so I got a Cabernet, Greg a beer that he later switched to a Malbec. We ordered two appetizers. the green tomatoes & the deviled eggs. Oh my goodness they were outstanding. Greg is not a deviled egg fan but the flavor profile was amazing because it had a hint of roasted salmon not to mention the beautiful plating. So delicious. Next we ordered our entrees I had the fish entree and Greg had an enormous pork chop. Both cooked perfectly and prepared exquisitely .. Everything was so simultaneously perfect. It was a beautiful evening. We had absolutely no room for desert but Greg and I love trying new things so we split a (herbal) after dinner cocktail and had so much fun trying it. Definitely something in itself that makes this place so unique. Louis our waiter was hilarious but also very professional and sweet... Best hidden secret for date night
