The beet salad was really scrumptious, the grouper was fresh and cooked impeccably, and Leigh was a careful and attentive server! She even got everything right with my allergies to onion and garlic which is unusual in New Orleans to get that correct! We will be back...

Excellent place for Saturday brunch on our last day in New Orleans. Interesting food, Bloody Mary bar, good music and excellent service. Very busy but we didn’t feel rushed.

Excellent fine dining quality service, delicious food from a limited menu in a quaint setting. Just a bit overpriced.

Food was great. We have not been in a long time but were glad to return. Service was a bit slow to get going but made up for it on the back end. We will be back.

Wonderful neighborhood meal. My two foodie teens also said it was their best meal on our trip to New Orleans.

Liked it a lot except food came out Luke warm. Not sure if it was the kitchen or the server. Unacceptable in either case.

Excellent service. The daily special, black grouper, was exceptionally well prepared. The fried green tomatoes, enhanced with greens and crab meat some of the best around.

The buscuit was doughy and gross. If you own a restaurant in the south and can't make buscuits please do not serve them. Service was slow but he was nice. The overall experience was mediocre in every way, for the price I would rather just go to Brennan's or another great upscale brunch spot. This one isn't worth the hype.

Arrived Sunday at 10 for a reservation made for brunch. Already on our list to return for next trip. The alligator turtle gumbo and bacon praline waffle were both incredible! The servers were very nice and it’s in a beautiful part of town! Will return and take advantage of the Bloody Mary bar!

The ambiance of this place is so cool, located in a historic home and general store, you feel like you are enjoying a meal in an old friend's home. We visited for Saturday brunch (reservations a must) and loved the make your own bloody Mary bar. The crawfish benedict (eggs Atchafalaya) was very tasty and included a large portion of crawfish. The rest of my party had the boudin Benedict, duck hash, and breakfast sandwich with alligator sausage. Everyone loved their meals and the atmosphere. I was very thankful to stumble upon this gem!

My friends and I, NOLA Nibblers, dine at fine restaurants in alpha order. We give Atchafalaya 5+ stars; we always find a reason to return when we cannot secure reservations in our alpha pattern. The food, service, prices, are never disappointing.

Even the best can have a bad day? The food was inventive and delicious as usual. The crawfish app with the spring green sauce was the best dish of our entire visit to NOLA. However, the service was terrible, with too many excuses about why we waited 40 minutes between app and main course as others seated after us were served complete meals - including desserts. I mentioned this on the way out - perhaps next time I should ask for a manager during our delayed service.

Excellent menu. I loved the shrimp and grits dish. The blue cheese flan was amazing. However, although my waiter (Sam) was great, the food took awhile to come out. Still, I highly recommend this New Orleans restaurant.

Sunday brunch recommendation from a friend. Arrived 20 min prior to our reservation and enjoyed a mimosa at the bar. Read a few open table reviews and couldn’t wait to have the shrimp and grits. My husband was sweet and ordered it while I ordered the chicken and biscuits. Both were outstanding. Great service. Live music...packed house. A great Nola meal and will be added to our favorites as a regular.

Long wait, even though I made a reservation; took a long time to get waited on, once seated; check took a long time as well — then the waiter told me he couldn’t find my card. After awhile they found the card. Seems like a great place, great atmosphere, but the service wasn’t on par.

Yum! This place came highly recommended by a friend. I've been here twice, three years apart during trips to NOLA, and it was amazing both times. The shrimp and grits are lovely, the pork belly melt in your mouth, and really all of the food is delish! The cocktails are inventive and tasty, with something for everyone. I'll make a point of getting reservations every time I travel to New Orleans.

Switched servers after taking drink order and took forever to get our correct drinks. My lunch was not prepared according to the menu an when I inquired about it was told "that's how it comes' even though it clearly states fried cheese is included in the red beans and rice appetizer. Service was slow and awkward.

I’ve been wanting to try it. Great vibes. Love the Bloody Mary bar with all the fixings. Went for lunch with a reservation which was a good idea. Place was crowded but in a good way. I had the black drum and my friend got the hamburger. Side of roasted potatoes was outstanding. Everything was delicious and our waiter was efficient and charming. Oh and the Pimm’s Cup was amazing.

Had the best time here. I read somewhere that it was good for kids, I walked in and it’s sooo lovely I thought - oh no, we’ll be in and out of here! But they had amazing service for my kids, made my husband and I really feel like we had a the royal treatment! Couldn’t have been a nicer night for the family. Thank you!!!

Decidedly our favorite dinner experience while visiting New Orleans. We chose ONE entree and had our server choose 3 of 5 possible small plates. The steak was cooked to perfection.
