Amazing food and service. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back in the future.
Phenomenal service, great ambiance and owner was engaged and clearly concerned with ensuring a high level of service.
First visit and I’ll definitely be returning
Atchafalaya never disappoints - we've been dining here for 12 years! Amazing dinner - the Red Snapper special was amazing, heirloom tomato salad and Tuna crudo were also standouts. My mom had the vegetarian option, eggplant and loved it. The bread pudding was to die for. Tony, Rachel and their whole team do an amazing job. And don't forget to order the Summer Negroni cocktail - delicious!
Absolutely charming vibe and delicious food. Our service was good, though slow. We weren't in a rush so I didn't reduce the number of stars for that.
I came for a solo birthday brunch. The service made me feel cared for and celebrated. I ordered the shrimp and grits with coffee then had the espresso martini. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent! I forgot the name of my waiter but the gentleman was knowledgeable, pleasant, and experienced.
We arrived on time and it took 50 minutes to be seated and 35 minutes to be served. They had a band that was loud and awful. We will not go back.
Raviolo was delicious! Bananas Foster waffles and petite filet were great as well. Breakfast potatoes were divine.
Excellent brunch. Creative choices (duck confit hash, for example). Well prepared and great atmosphere.
I love Atchafalaya! It’s always a must stop every time we are in New Orleans. The bloody Mary’s are amazing, the duck hash and chicken and waffles are the best. Don’t miss this place when visiting.
Food was AMAZING! Service was the best I’ve ever experienced.
The special that evening was fantastic. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and offered great tips on the menu. One of our favorites when in NOLA.
Great ambiance; good wine list; yummy cocktails.
But it’s all about the FOOD here, which, menu-wide, is simply to-die-for!
We four chose cocktails, starters, a
entrees & desserts: none was disappointed. From our salads, fried green tomatoes & oysters to ‘surf & turf’ dinner special, shrimp & grits, grilled yellowfin & 14oz pork chop to our double chocolate cheesecake,
watermelon granita, pistachio ice cream with a baklava-type phyllo pastry & the grilled peach dessert, it was, simply put, a home run!
Each dish had been prepared with the utmost respect for ingredients within.
The Front of the House was equally skilled. Host Jeremy was warm we lacked for nothing.
Can hardly wait for a return visit to New Orleans. ATCHAFALAYA is now on our ‘must dine at’ list!
Fantastic in every way!
The chicken and waffles were delicious and the cream cheese grits were amazing! Yummy cocktails too! I wanted to try them all!
I had the burger. It was so good. Service was awesome. Love the atmosphere. Will be back soon hopefully
Wonderful wine dinner kicked off with really well-executed cocktail period. Servers hustled to move drinks and small bites through the crowd. Fabulous dinner with really good wine parings. All of the food, from the prosciutto carpaccio to the poached scallops and the cold smoked strip and my favorite, the pork scaloppini, were excellently prepared and plated. The fruit gallette for dessert was a huge hit. Been to lots of wine dinners and this one places at or near the top!
Multi course wine dinner.
One of the best ever
Food and wines beautifully matched
Five course meal was more than satisfying, paired with the wine nicely. Service was truly exceptional. Chef Chris Lynch stopped at our table and chatted for a few minutes. We will definitely attend the next time they have their Wednesday evening dinner. Atchafalaya is at the top of our list for dining out and brunch on the weekends.
Delicious food and friendly staff
We traveled into town to tour Tulane. I had been to the restaurant before and had a lovely meal. We ordered all appetizers as we found them to be more interesting and enjoy a variety of flavors. The Raviolo and the tuna were outstanding. The blue cheese flan was fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant for those who want an authentic, modern and creative twist on traditional NOLA flavors.
Atchafalaya continues to impress. The services is impeccable and friendly, and trying to decide what to order was the only stress of our evening there. Normally I wouldn't get all that excited about a warm goat cheese salad, buy it was really, really good. The quail and tuna entrees were also notable. We usually try to have dinner there whenever in town. Highly recommended.
Food, service and atmosphere was great-fun place to celebrate with friends.
Delicious, quaint, superb. Very flexible allowing us to come in much earlier than our reservation. Outstanding food, service, and ambiance.
This is a MUST do when in New Orleans. Some of the best food around the city, with the perfect pairing of service and food quality.
Great food. Great drinks. Great Service. Highly recommended.
great food, great service and great drinks! thanks for the birthday confetti!
We loved Atchafalaya! The food is wonderful. Every bite perfection. And Tom Ramsey, perhaps the greatest host/chef in the world. After one visit, we’re old friends. He’s an ambassador for New Orleans and humanity.
Great neighborhood restaurant with authentic New Orleans cuisine. Jazz trio was a nice treat.
Great dining experience and stellar service from Ryan. Highly recommended.
Great happy hour and bar food. The entrees were phenomenal, the service was stellar. We will return.
Drinks were amazing. Food was fresh. Blue Cheese Flan was to die for.
Ryan our server was AMAZING!! He gave food & cocktail recommendations although we could not go wrong with any menu choice because EVERYTHING is tasty & delicious! He was also very attentive. The deviled egg, shrimp & grits, duck hash, chicken & waffles were to die for! Will ALWAYS patronize when in NOLA!
Love the Shrimp and Grits - best I had in New Orleans. This was a return visit, and just as good as the first. Highly recommend going.
Absolutely one of the best dining experiences of all time. Wonderful neighborhood venue with truly exceptional food quality and service! Great selections in menu, the red snapper entree was the best red snapper I have ever had. The warm goat cheese salad and crab ravioli are just unbelievable. Topped off with Blueberry Hand Pie and you could have shot me at dawn 😍
Such an amazing experience. The service was outstanding and the food is fresh and delicious.
Service was fabulous and the food was delicious
