   We were seated just outside the bar (at a nice window table for 2)....which was apparently serviced by the bar vs. table servers. As a result, we had slow/poor service. Our table would not have been visible from behind the bar. Food was okay...bar/pub fare.

   The Barn is my go to these days. Lots of variety on the menu to suit many tastes and diet preferences. Lovely setting. I have never had a meal there that disappointed me in any way.

   It was a very busy mother’s day early dinner, we had a table outside. The servers and all the staff seemed to be exhausted already. Everything was ok, the weather nice, but service and food preparation would have been faster and better, cleaning up the table and its area would have been better too on a not so busy day probably.

   It took us over a half hour to receive any food. When our meals came, The salmon was raw in the center and we were not compensated for the undercooked food. Our waitress was very nice and pleasant.

   Booked on Mother's day for a late lunch, so they might have been overwhelmed, but it was very slow to get our food, check, and even take out container. Our server was really nice, but lunch should not take 3 hours with no apps even ordered and just 1 meal each. We dared not order any dessert or we'd have probably been there til 5.

   Food was just ok. Nothing special, but nothing terrible. Except for the two scallops ($16) that topped a steak. They weren't right, to be polite. The service started out well and then turned into a nightmare as the restaurant got busy. In a nutshell, after apologizing for the wait due to a busy kitchen, our waiter entirely abandoned our table as a table for twelve became his focus. He never checked if we needed anything (we did by the way). Especially to note that the scallops were inedible. The last we saw of a waiter (not "our" waiter) was when someone else finally delivered our entrees, which arrived an hour and thirty minutes after we were seated. The item that probably took the longest was a steak, which is not a 90 minute creation. After waiting for what seemed like twenty minutes after we stopped eating (it probably was not that long, but seemed so), I finally got up and asked a manager for our check (forget about even thinking about dessert), which took too long, too. When the manager finally brought the check, he asked if we wanted boxes. Although we would have brought some items home (not the scallops, ha ha), there was no way we were going to open up another opportunity for an unneccessarily long wait. My twenty-year old son leaned over as I was signing the check and whispered "Dad you know what to do" meaning no tip. Even under these mediocre circumstances I did leave a tip, and he was genuinely disappointed. Which is probably a great way to summarize our experience at The Barn. A genuine disappointment. We finally left after waiting, and then waiting, and then waiting, and waiting some more. We stopped for dessert elsewhere on the way home. I can't see returning. Ever.

    Food was excellent. Drinks were good enough. Then outdoor patio area was a bit dingy and needed some cleaning up.
