Located in the lobby of The St. Regis Toronto, Astor Lounge welcomes guests with modern elegance and a relaxed atmosphere. A modern coffee shop during the morning, then transforms itself into a cozy cocktail bar and lounge with our celebratory Champagne Sabrage Ritual at 6:00 pm daily. Afternoon Tea, another iconic St. Regis Ritual, is served daily from 10:30am to 3pm by reservation only on Opentable. Please note that a credit card authorization is required to guarantee a reservation. Went here for Mother's Day. Overall I really enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere. However I felt that the food itself was really lacking, none of the savory items stood out, nor the desserts which was overall too sweet and tasted very standard. I've been here before last year and I see that they have not changed the menu basically at all. The best thing from the menu is the scones. Also I noticed that the tower that they serve the food in, is really rusty and not aesthetic at all. I wish they would have changed that.

Absolutely fabulous way to spend an afternoon with Afternoon Tea at the Astor Lounge. Th presentation is wonderful with great explanations of what issuing served. A non-rush service that leaves you feeling pampered and satisfied. Highly recommend.

I was looking forward to celebrating my daughter’s birthday and booked the Astor lounge. The atmosphere was ok but I felt that the whole lounge was just squished into a section of the hotel. It lacked ambiance and the chairs were not very comfortable. The tea was delicious as were the scones. The pastries were ok but not outstanding as were the sandwiches. It was a nice experience but I think they could improve a few things to give patrons a really exceptional time. Nonetheless my daughter enjoyed which was the reason for booking.

I took my family to Astor Lounge for the High Tea. The aesthetic of the lounge is very nice. We were seated near a window and it was quite drafty, so they had some sort of space heater which blew out dry hot air, so that took away from the ambience a bit. The hostess was pleasant, but I wouldn't say she was proficient at explaining the high tea to us and we had to clarify how it worked. She also didn't seem particularly knowledgeable about the tea or the pastries/desserts. The tea and the food were great, however. Overall, I wouldn't say its an amazing value at $95 per person, but for the experience, it's reasonable for at least a one-time thing.

We went in on a snowstorm day so the lunge was super cold. The food was great and our waitress was very atrending to us but it was hard to sit there in rhe cold as it was right beside rhe lobby with no partition.
