   Had a delicious lunch today with a friend. All the food was very tasty and delicious and the service was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant.

   The calamari and barramundi were amazing…. The steak was not worth the charge.

   My friend and I both had the barramundi and it was absolutely delicious. The service was brilliant and the atmosphere was just lovely.

   Was expecting a little more for the price. The food was good/average but not exceptional. The service however was very good and the ambiance was vibey.

   Assaggini is one of Mornington's best fine-dining restaurants. It's not inexpensive, but the quality of the food and beverages offered mean that you definitely get what you pay for. The establishment is a refurbished "old-Mornington" building, so the floors and exposed brick walls give a fine ambience. The windows mean the constantly-changing street vista provides an interesting backdrop, if you have a window-side table. The wines and beers contain many really good local and nearby (ie: Yarra Valley) wines. The service is personal, cheerful, knowledgeable and very prompt. The food was magnificent. The kingfish crudo entree and the marinara linguine were superb. No one was disappointed in any way with their choice of meal. Assaggini is a really excellent "special occasion" dining experience: a great way to treat people you love and whose company you enjoy!

   Another great experience at Assaggini! Great food, great wine, excellent service. Love this place. The lobster prawn risotto & pork belly were exceptional. Highly recommend!

   What a phenomenal fine dining experience. The service was so patient and memorable, and my goodness, to have a restaurant that has a whole plant based menu that isn’t two items is incredible. Everything on there was sensational. You must try the house made olives they are something else!! So glad to have discovered this gem.

   Delicious food beautifully cooked. Sat up near the open kitchen but actually prefer down in the bar area for atmosphere.

   A fantastic feed with great attention to detail. Services staff were very friendly and attentive. I’d highly recommend eating here.

    Great looking restaurant inside, quiet and friendly staff. Food was ordinary, oily pasta dishes almost cold, says chili flavored but just sour. I doubt if pasta was made on site as suggested. Very very small servings. Salad was just leaves with a drizzle of vinegar. I almost asked to speak with the chef. Worst most unauthentic Italian food I’ve ever had, I have dined around the world and this was a poor example of Italian food. Would not recommend this place.
