Fantastic NYE celebration, wonderful service. The food was generous and full of flavour. Our only complaints are mere personal preferences. We would Definitely go back if in Mornington again (we are from Sydney).

We were final sitting (8pm) for NYE special and I think staff had run out of steam. Had to ask for nearly every course (there were 5) and we just didn’t feel the love :( it was an expensive night and should have been special as a couple, so a bit disappointing. Starters and desserts were tastiest.

After enjoyable meals at Assagini last night’s occasion was very disappointing. Something was seriously wrong in the kitchen, main courses arrived after a long wait, mine was cold and when returned a new meal appeared but this time the duck was raw, the waitstaff were very professional and delivered a third meal even though I had said not too bother as my appetite had gone. The desert was also very poor.

As on our previous visits, we enjoyed the delights of the menu. What a lovely way to experience simple but beautiful tastes. All a little different, nicely presented and full of flavour, look forward to our next visit!
