First time there, great atmosphere. Relaxing place to dine. Food was amazing. Wine selection is superb. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. Will go back. Lost two stars on the service because of the sneaky tactics during paying the bill. The Eftpos machine automatically adds a 10% tip on top of the cost of the bill. You have to manually select NO otherwise you will get stung. Very sneaky and a little deceitful of them. No need for it. Otherwise 5 out of 5.

The food was delightful but the service was not Our meal was forgotten and not offered anything while we waited and I said it was for a birthday and it wasn’t acknowledged.

It was our second time at Assagini, and there won't be a third. First time, we had to wait for over an hour as they had forgotten about our order. The food, however, was great. Regretfully, the menu has changed for the worse, as well as the restaurant layout. It resembles a school canteen; you're so close to the other tables that it is impossible to have a relaxing conversation. Mind you, we requested a more private spot when booking. Fine, we chose the food... But it never came. People who arrived 20 minutes later than us got their order while we were still waiting. 40 minutes in, we were approached by a staff member who said that they were trying to track our order. As it was our date night and a rare opportunity to spend a quiet time together, we got very upset and chose to leave. The restaurant kindly did not charge us for the two drinks we had, but that didn't really make any difference.

Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented, and the handmade pasta was perfect! The service was just as impressive—friendly and attentive. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish!
