What a great find for me. Gluten free options AND a kitchen that takes allergies seriously! Our server was fantastic and so helpful! Delicious food! Gluten free cheese curds were crazy good! I seriously cannot wait to go back! Got the dry cider flight(yum) and the Braised Chicken sandwich! So good !!!

We were excited to try this place because of its gluten free options, but there were a few things that didn’t make this the best dining experience. The cider flight was fun and our server, Bailey, was super sweet, but we sat outside. Between the music and highway traffic, it was unpleasantly LOUD. The food was fine, but we had to wait a loooong time to get both our entrees and desserts. We would recommend the gluten free brownie and cheese curds, but the corn fritters not so much.

Went to Ash & Elm with high hopes. We were all very disappointed. Waited to be seated, asked if we could be seated at a different table and were told by the manager that there was a reservation for that table and we couldn’t move there because they have their tables all mapped out, at that point the restaurant was half empty. Service was slow, took an hour and a half to eat. Manager was unresponsive and really didn’t listen. We live in the area and is a one and done.

This place is just okay. We decided it’s not a place we’d go back to. We really like Ash and Elm Cider and plan to get it again but will not come to the restaurant. Service was slow. Even with a reservation no one even acknowledged us for over 10 minutes. Other tables that were seated after us were served first. We pointed this out and the hostess just said the servers were busy. She seemed very annoyed with me even though I was kind when I pointed it out. I just thought there was confusion for who was serving us. They didn’t seem to have enough servers. The food was okay but nothing amazing. It was overall disappointing, and we won’t be back. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The food was great service was awful. Server was not attentive and forgot about us, never mentioned items they were out of (which was 80% of the menu) so after 25 mins of sitting we attempted to order to only find out all of our options weren’t available. Then food took forever! Another server who was helping from Indy came to us and told us the kitchen was short staffed, also would’ve been helpful for our server to communicate but didn’t. I can understand that, but again communication is key! The food was great, not what we wanted but it was good! This was poor planning on management with food prepping and ordering for a busy weekend. I would only come back to refill our growlers and maybe have an app at the bar while I wait.

I assume there was a problem with our reservation because we were stuck way in the back and felt removed from the main restaurant. I wish they had called and told us there was a problem if there was. Otherwise it was just dumb luck. The food was good but a couple of items were overcooked. The gluten free options were excellent. The service was exceedingly slow. We tried to be kind and wait but it embarrassing to me as I had recommended this restaurant.

We came with a reservation for Mother’s Day. We ordered the elote fritters which came out with raw batter in the middle. The server was very nice about it and brought us a new order but they were burnt (but cooked thru so we ate them because we were starving). Despite it not being very busy, our food took 45+ mins. Our entrees were fine (cooked thru and not burned- fried were over cooked but edible), but by the time they came everyone was ready to leave. I had intended to order dessert and a 4 pack of the special release ciders but just wanted out of there so left without both. Trying to entertain a 3 year old for an extra 40 mins in a restaurant was a damper. Our server was nice and very apologetic but didn’t offer anything besides ongoing apologies and noting “the guy in the back is working on figuring things out.” We won’t be back unless it’s to pick up drinks to go, which is a shame.

Waited an hour for a very simple lunch order and finally had them make it to go because we had to be somewhere to be. Then waited 10 more minutes… I think they lost the first order and the server never checked on it until we asked about it. Will go again and give them another chance.

I felt bad for the staff. They were so short staffed in the kitchen that several waitstaff were splitting time on the floor and in the back. Appetizers forgotten. Entrees took an hour. Food was serviceable.
