    All of the staff was very attentive and helpful, service and timing was perfect. My wife had the Amish Chicken which she thought was great, I had the Wild Boar and it was prepared as requested and very flavorful. Finished off with Chocolate Cake and an Apple Tart both were fantastic.

    The atmosphere is so comfortable and elegant. The food was awesome especially the pumpkin soup. Who knew? Most appreciated was the service. So attentive, kind and knowledgeable.

    It was a cold, windy November Monday evening, 7:30 pm. We were seated at a quaint well-mannered table with heat duct beneath. Great soup presentation. Exquisite Black Cod and King Crab Pasta. But wait, the after-dinner surprise is Apple Tart and Chocolate Cake.

    We haven't been here in a while but boy were we happy we came back. The four of us (including our 2 high school boys) had one of the best meals we've had in a long time. We all chose to do the 6 course tasting menu. Everything from the app to the salad to the fish, the pasta and the boar was exquisite. My wife did the wine pairings which were perfectly matched. Just when we thought they couldn't top themselves, the staff of Artisans brought what is now on my top 10 desserts of all time - an apple tart. Sounds simple right? My experience with apple tarts usually leaves me wishing I just saved the calories and enjoyed a nice cup of coffee. The typical doughy texture and dryness of an apple tart with mealy fruit was not what was served. The tart consisted of intertwined vertical layers of light, crispy dough with thin, perfectly cooked apple slices bound together with what tasted like a brown sugar based syrup that had a wonderful crunchy bottom. My mouth is watering as I write this review. There wasn't a morsel of food remaining on any of the plates. I expected a tasting meal of this quality to cost significantly more than the $60 we were charged ($30 additional for the 6 half-glasses of wine). We will all be back soon. (I plan on sneaking back by myself next week for another apple tart!)

    very low amount of food for the money we paid. very loud inside, not many food choices overall. not impressed.

    We chose to dine at the Artisan to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and we are SO glad we did! It was our first time dining there and it was a terrific experience from start to finish. When we arrived, they had a “Happy 1st Anniversary” card waiting for us, and immediately said that they were going to be serving us a champagne toast to celebrate. I am currently 8 months pregnant, so our sweet waitress went above and beyond to ensure I had some non-alcoholic bubbly so I could toast with my husband. We each got a “First” - I did the Pumpkin Soup which was divine and my husband ordered the Artisan Salad which he loved. For our main entrees, he ordered the Steak Au Poivre and I ordered the Wild Boar - both were remarkable. For dessert we ordered the caramel creme brûlée and the apple tart - both were great but we personally preferred the warmth and flavor of the tart more! Overall, I give our experience a 10/10. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and welcoming. The rest of the staff was just as great, as they often came around to check on us too. Our waters never stayed more than half empty (we joked that they had bottomless water) and we never felt like we were forgotten about whatsoever. We will absolutely be going back!

    This was our first time but won’t be the last! Perfect date night spot. I had the king crab pasta and my husband had the filet mignon, he said if he could lick the plate he would have. My espresso martini after dinner was honestly heavenly.

    Food is always delicious at Artisan. My only reason for knocking it down a star on the value is that my husband's cod was a pretty small portion and yet was more expensive than my filet.

    Excellent as usual. Have been quite a number of times. Service was okay. Felt a little rushed to order. The floor manager checked up on us and that was nice with a genuine smile and candor. Oysters and mushroom bisque was very good. Filet and Au Poivre Sirloin was fantastic. The Apple Tart dessert was wonderful. Thanks Artisan.

    We decided to celebrate our anniversary at Artisan and we're so glad we did. The food was wonderful, the service was outstanding, and we loved the atmosphere. I had the trout & my husband had the duck. Both dishes were excellent. They made our anniversary special with a champagne toast and complimentary dessert along with a handwritten note. We will definitely return.

    We attended the 6 course Harvest dinner with Sommelier wine pairing. There was an emphasis on game meat. The first course of venison was especially delicious. The fourth and fifth course of pheasant and wild boar were also a delight and tender. The wine was also a perfect compliment to the menu.

    This was our first time at Artisan for our 10th anniversary. The atmosphere was breathtaking, beautiful, and quiet. The food was absolutely delicious. It was as if it melted in our mouths the flavor and quality was out of this world. The service was as if we were royalty. By far the best experience, food, and service we’ve ever had. Lillian was our waitress and she went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with our drinks and food. She answered our questions, was professional and prompt, she even went above and made sure certain foods didn’t have hints of anything seafood as my husband is allergic to seafood. By far the best waitress and most we’ve ever given in a tip was given to her! We will make sure to request her in the future! Go to Artisan it’s worth every $0.01!!!!

    Fine dining at its best in a modern setting that made us feel like we were in the “big city”. We enjoyed a fabulous 6 course tasting menu with wine pairings last night. I even liked the caviar and the octopus, which I usually do not care for. Everything was beautifully plated and cooked to our liking. From start to finish, the staff were attentive, helpful with explanations, enthusiastic and friendly.

    Sat at the Bar, Rich sets a high bar for all other bartenders….also got to watch Chef plate up every meal through the window…it was a treat….drinks 10/10…lobster bisque…possibly the best I’ve had…entrees…excellent…not a bad bite…dessert…crème brûlée was top notch… Overall…probably the best meal I’ve had in 2023…(I don’t get out much)

    The food was very good, the service even better. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday. The only negative was the noise. It was loud, and trying to carry on a conversation was a bit challenging.

    From the hostess to the waitress, the chef and of course the owner.…. our experience was lovely. The owner helped us not only with the wonderful wine selection but also gave us insight into the dishes that would pair well! The combination of flavors did not disappoint! Excellent eatery!     Wow! What a total dining experience. I had forgotten what real service was like! Everything from start to finish, top to bottom was superb. The attention to detail, the quality of the food and especially the service was nothing short of amazing. If we are ever back in the Elkhart area we will be sure and come to Artisan again. Loved the ancient brick walls and the ambiance. Ryan took excellent care of us. The Amish chicken was the best Chicken dish I’ve had in years.
