Artisan is the only downtown craft vodka distillery and lounge in San Antonio and rated one of the best craft cocktail bars around. We do not serve food, but many times we do have food trucks. We hand craft two vodkas (Spike Vodka and Texas Pride Vodka), moonshine (Chupacabra Juice Moonshine), and bourbon (Bexar Ridge Bourbon). We have a diverse and extensive drink menu that consists of over 45 drinks - all hand crafted & made to order with fresh seasonal fruits. Come enjoy cocktails when we are open (Thu 5pm-12pm, Fri &Sat 5pm-1am) with happy hour 5-8. We embrace dogs and families. Come take a tour and see how all things are made. Or just come in for drinks. Reservations are only required for the tour. Tours are Thu, Fri, and Sat at 4pm&7pm when available.

During our tour we take you through the process of distilling, fermenting, and even bottling and we sample the vodka at the end of the tour. Tours last 45-60min depending on the size of the group and questions.

Met rhe owner nick he was super nice and knowledgeable during our tour and he even signed our bottles that we purchased definitely a memerable date night.

I felt like the Master distiller was very knowledgeable. He made jokes throughout the tour. The drinks were delish and he autographed the bottles we purchased that night.

Tried the spirits tour. Really more of an informational session with the vet knowledgeable owner. He definitely share a lot of history and busted some common beliefs in liquor/spirits development. Ambience was next to none. The only thing missing from this tour was to have one well curated signature drink as part of the pkg.

'Tour' was very informative. It was interesting to learn about the distilling process and the differences in the different spirits that are distilled here. Our group didn't care for any of the liquors we sampled, but the tour was still worthwhile. The promised souvenir glasses were not available, but the owner took our name and address and said he would ship them to us in a couple of weeks. He did show us the logo that will be on the glasses. I hope we actually receive them.

Great learning experience and awesome tastings and mixed drinks. Bought a bottle of the pecan whisky 😋 Good time with a date too!

We came for the distillery tasting offered through Groupon. That's exactly what it was, tasting, three pours of 1 oz each for three different distilled spirits. No food was consumed for this visit. Free glasses for the tasting tour were not available during the visit.
