We were eating early on a Saturday evening, 7 of us. Restaurant was semi-quiet and very accommodating. Our Las Vegas “foodie” relatives loved the drinks and food and so did us locals.
Good food. Loud. Fun.
I always have a very different experience when I come here but one thing that’s consistent is the service. It starts off strong with a decent table greet, and then everything falls short after. This is now the 3rd time that our apps arrived with our entrees. Waitstaff doesn’t offer refills, and you have to flag someone down if you need something. I’ve never had an experience here where our server has asked about our meals or if we need anything else. I hope things change because I’d hate to see this place not be successful.
Better than expected food for a neighborhood place, I’ve been there three times in one week so I must like the place.
Very pleasant servers though they are busy so recommend you put in any starters with first drinks.
Starters: really great large nachos with chicken and the tuna tartare (shard with wife) was exceptional (great quality and good price)
Really good dinners (modest list but good food): we tried and liked broiled salmon, steak tips, steak noodle salad as well as the daily special plates have always been good (have tried tuna and shrimp plate daily special variations)
White wine sangria was a favorite as well as draft beers (kona and wormtown)
Only okay. Info said it was kid-friendly. It’s clearly a college hangout bar. The food was only okay and it was extremely loud. Fine if you’re 20 but if you are looking for a typical pub & grill place with good food this isn’t for you.
Article 24 seems like a great neighborhood bar, with okay bar food and ambitious but lackluster dinner food. The duck breast was over cooked and sat in a soggy purée of sweet potato, and the ramen was in a an overly-salty, one-dimensional broth, with undercooked noodles. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat dinner here, but again perhaps it’s a nice local bar for drinks.
GREAT food and an upbeat, casual atmosphere. I'd recommend it and we'll be going back.
We arrived at 7pm and the lights were up bright with a family or two ~ not initially what we were looking for an adult dinner get-together. However... the crowd switched over and it became more to our liking. We were looking for beer, but with only four on draft and ten or so cans to choose from, we were feeling limited. Not a wheat beer to be found! And not being able to taste the eclectic assortment of beers that were offered only in cans was a disappointment, too. (We're just not can folks!) Our waitress could have helped more if she knew the inventory a bit better.
We were pleasantly surprised by the live music at 9pm and really enjoyed the three-piece band ~ probably original music (not quite rock, not quite folk, hmm...). The volume kind of put a damper on our conversation. It was an appropriate level for a bar, but not for a restaurant. Since the bar was at the opposite end of the restaurant, the dinner tables were impacted the most.
It's definitely on our list to re-visit and we're hoping some of these comments will be taken to heart. Thank you!
The service was poor and the food was very salty . That is everything I look for when dining out.
Great service but the restaurant was very loud more so in the front and bar area. There doesn’t seem to have been much done during the restaurant build to manage the harsh accoustics. The menu is diverse and the food is good.
Great spot! Love going there time and again. We are locals and have found this place becoming a local favorite! The food is always tasty, good and interesting. The place and set up to watch World Cup was perfect! Had loads of fun. :) Kudos on being such a fun restaurant.
Went to Article 24 with my wife for a quick dinner and found it to be a kind of cool vibe place and quite casual. We were overdressed but no matter, we went in and checked out the menu.
We started with a dozen Oysters from Maine, quite good although a couple did have a few shell fragments in them. The management apologized and said they had a new person shucking hence the error. He only charged us for half a dozen which seemed very fair to us.
We then ordered tacos, we had one Fish and one Thai chicken taco and these were superb, came with a small cup of Rice and Beans which was more than adequate for a light bite.
We chose the Rose Brut Sparkling wine to go along with our meal and found it crisp, dry and well suited to the food.
All in all a very good experience and we will now frequent this place for those yummy fish tacos!
One note that I wished to include was that the service was outstanding, our waiter was prompt and very nice explaining and describing the choices we made to us so there were no surprises, that alone made the trip well worth a recommendation as a must try! Check it out with your friends to watch a game or simply for a beer and great bar fare!
I'm disappointed with the new Mac and Cheese Fritters, the size is much smaller than they used to be and the coating is different as well.
No AC on a 90+ degree day? Total bummer. Went to play trivia at 8pm and had to leave because we were so uncomfortable within an hour of arriving. Also, no ice in our drinks and cocktails, so we had warm mules and margaritas. Servers were great, considering the extreme heat they had to deal with, as were the tacos. Not my first visit but certainly the most disappointing so far-had 1st time friends along that were pretty unimpressed overall because of the experience.
Very friendly service and high quality food!
Not so good
Hadn’t see my buddy Pete in awhile he and company came they had to cut it short due to his newborn but still made t a good time, great food for taco Tuesday fun filled excitement Article 24 you always come in as you do best!!
It was so cool the atmosphere was wonderful. The artwork, drink selection, food amazing… Five stars
Continues to be nice go to spot. Have always been to Article 24 during less crowded times, so service has always been fast and attentive. Food continues to deliver. Kids love the Ramen.
The food was very good! Will definitely go back. There is plenty of parking both in the lot and on street. This restaurant is a Hidden Gem. We love everything we ordered.
Great time at Article as always. The managers Michael and Tim were lovely and very nice. They were helping the staff and checked in on us a few times to ensure we were having a great time. Thank you.
Had a wonderful family lunch for Father’s Day. Great service and excellent food as always at Article 24!
Very good food, great service, friendly. The apps and meals were all very good.
Unfortunately, we may have picked the wrong day/wrong time. It was father's day so it was a bit busy. Our waitress forgot about us/had to flag down a manager to try to get our order in after sitting for about 15 minutes as we had a 2.5 year old with us. Meals took forever and no one ever even asked if we wanted more drinks. Had to flag someone down to give us our bill. Nobody offered to comp anything/do anything to make up for the fact that we bascially had "no service" which was a bit of a disappointment. Also, they did not have a kids menu which was a bit tough. On a more positive note, they did have a great menu/good food and the atmosphere was a cool venue. If they could figure out the service thing, it would be a great place.
I have eaten at Article 24 a few times. Each time has been a different but excellent experience. This particular experience at Article 24 was for brunch. When the manager, Pat, offered a 'Bucket of Bubbles' in lieu of a standard mimosa, we had to say yes. Our appetizers were phenomenal and split entree couldn't have been more perfect. I highly suggest Article 24 for a brunch or lunch or dinner date with whomever you choose!
cheerful, friendly place with delicious food....great brunch. Lobster MacMuffin a wonderful invention.
Food was fine. Menu limited. Wine list very limited. More of a craft beer place. Chosen for convenience. Don't know if I would go back was ok but not a wow.
This is a wonderful neighborhood bar, always friendly, and never disappointed with the food. The bar is large and unfortunately, I've had to get back in my car when there were no bar seats left but I still make it my first stop when looking to eat local!
Fun restaurant with great service and good food. Also has good cocktails with homemade ginger beer. Noise level is very loud due to brick walls and unfinished ceilings so hard to talk to people at your table. Good energy if that’s what you like. Very comfy chairs also.
Felt like a pub, but food was better than that, and drinks were excellent... once the band started up, we bailed, too loud to talk.
Service was great! I loved the atmosphere/design of the place. Great local gem!
Friendly service at first, but then it all went downhill. A waiter spilled food on a guest and no one ever came to refill drinks. The food was fine, but slightly overpriced.
I absolutely loved the food here! Everything was so delcious! Hog wings, tuna tartar, pork dumplings and oh my the chocolate cake! Couldn’t ask for better food! I only tried the Eleanor’s smash drink which was really good! Staff was friendly as well as attentive but not overly attentive which is exactly how it should be. I can’t wait to come back!
I was disappointed by the waitstaff. She was dismissive and not helpful. I normally don’t comment on the waitstaff but I was particularly disappointed. We were trying to share a number of dishes, one being ramen, and they didn’t even have a real bowl or spoon. The ramen was bland. I was not pleased with my experience for Mother’s Day.
We went to Article 24 for brunch and the food was very tasty. Good value for the drinks we got as well. One suggestion would be to expand the parking lot or potentially move it to make it more accessible. Overall good atmosphere and food, will definitely go again!
The food was good...pub grub. There was 10 of us for a special occasion. The service was pretty awful...very disorganized and confused waiter, maybe it was his first week on the job.
I’ve been here a few times before and always had a great experience. The food is great and the service usually good and everyone is very friendly. But this time once we were seated I️t took about 20 minutes before anyone even came over to our table. Once the waitress finally came over she was not friendly or attentive at all. After we ordered she only came back to our table once when we had to flag her down to get the check. I️ had to wave over waiters when we needed more sauce or water. Every time we asked for something I️t seemed like a huge inconvenience which made this whole experience pretty uncomfortable. I️ understand if you’re busy and have a lot customers but it’s completely different if you’re straight up rude the only two times I️ interact with you. This was really disappointing since we usually have a great time here.
Noisy Sunday and one of our party got sick 3 hours after eating the fish tacos. Won’t be back.
Nice spot. We enjoyed the Mexican dishes and pizza—. Got the impression that they could’ve used a couple more wait staff.
I’m not sure if our server was having a bad day or what (I like to give people the benefit of the doubt) but she made our experience a negative one. She was rude, inattentive and the furthest thing from friendly. She wrote down my order incorrectly (it happens, no biggie) but was unapologetic and seemed annoyed at the inconvenience it caused her to have to fix it. I had to literally wave her to come over 3 separate times and it wasn’t that busy. It’s too bad because we were really excited to try this place. On a more positive note, the food was pretty good, but probably won’t be back.
