Aroma Thyme is an 11/10. The menu first Appealed to me because of creative plant based options, and also non-vegan options that would appeal to others in my group. Every dish was incredible. The waitstaff were so friendly and made for a comfortable environment. We stopped by for their live music on Thursday, and everything was so great that we came back on Friday for dinner too!

I was pleasantly surprised to find a place that has so many vegan and gluten free options. That’s not an afterthought but a part of what they do and they do it well! The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable and brought complimentary pappadoms and bean dip. A bowl of sweet potato curry soup and a Caprese salad with Miyokos vegan mozzarella hit the spot after a 3 hour motorcycle ride. I would definitely go back!

We had dinner pre-theatre and it was busy that night, but service was good. We had appetizers and small plates, the rare tuna was delicious.

Traveling from The Woodstock Museum back to Albany. Searched Open Table and found this Bistro on the way! Good ratings, interesting menu so we stopped. What a great find! Craft drinks including elderberry margaritas and excellent old fashions. Fresh mussels, octopus, farm to table selections, great appetizers all delicious!! And our waitress ( sorry on name) but Irish and a Science teacher was attentive and fun! We might just pass through again!

Service was slow, which mattered because we had tickets to the play 2 doors down. We were chewing our food on the way into the theater, which must offend the talented chefs who clearly care to prepare quite good food. Really a pity we couldn’t enjoy it. (We arrived 75 minutes prior to show time, and the couple we held the door open for on the way in got their food 10-15 minutes before we did.) Also the red wine was room temperature on a hot day instead of anywhere near “cave temperature” which is also a pity given the cost.

A very nice surprise in a very unassuming town, Ellenville. Well situated next door to the Shadowlands Theater. The scope of offerings is impressive - and the plates we ordered were very very good.

Great at dinner before the Shadowland Stages play and for drinks and dessert afterward!! Blue Cheese burger was perfect ... and they know how to cook a rare burger!! Thanks to Patrick who took very good care of us before and after!!
