No complaints about the food but the place was freezing cold. An icebox. We requested three separate times, could you please turn down the A/C? Apparently not. Hard to enjoy the evening as a result.

Brought an out of town friend to the back garden to enjoy some light bites and interesting wines. As expected, food was phenomenal, perfectly seasoned and featured two of our favourite things: vegetables and seafood. We had the oysters, olives, scallop tartare, asparagus salad and Cavendish and “Caviar” and enjoyed some new-to-us white, orange and rosé wines. Kat was a lovely, knowledgeable server. Thanks!

Clean and curated menu with high quality ingredients. Well thought out and exciting to eat. The Beef Tataki and Scallop Tartare were both the stars of the evening. DO NOT sleep on these options. Shared the Ribeye and although it was a safer and simpler menu choice, I found the execution to have lacked a little. Ironic maybe. The flavours were all there, but I think I should have gone with my initial choice instead of the steak. The wine list was very comprehensive and had a good mix of options. A lot of natural options, which is kind of cool to see on a restaurant wine list. Nothing crazy expensive, nothing notably cheap. The space was clean and suited the vibe perfectly. Service was great. Passionate and knowledgeable. Not fine dining service, but not a fine dining restaurant. Would definitely go back.

Excellent food and service! The asparagus salad was wonderful and beautifully dressed. I had the pork collar. It was tender and nicely balanced with all the other ingredients on the plate. The server was fun to talk to and very knowledgeable about the wine and food. He made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall a great evening

Amazing meal, highlights were the pickled shrimp and Duck Frites, but everything our party had was delicious and the Wine selection was superb.

Management did a superlative job with a birthday celebration: birthday girl's name on the menu, a couple free starters for the table and a candle with dessert.

Exceptional attention to detail to make it memorable experience for us. They printed our names on the menu to celebrate our occasion. Every bite was heavenly and the service was impeccable. It was truly an experience to remember for the years to come. Thank you to the team at Arlo. No wonder why they’re on the 100 best Canada list!

Fantastic, really fresh seasonal veg, mains (pork collar and duck) were both awesome and big portions, special shoutout to the blackcurrant hot sauce with the oysters. Wine recommendations were great and thoughtful as well!
