Great experience for an anniversary and having a 5 month old with us. Staff were very accommodating, getting food out faster than fast food (due to our request) and still tasting amazing. Would rate Arlo one of, if not the best restaurant in Ottawa.

Absolutely fantastic meal-- delicious, inventive, fun, and memorable! My mother and I read about Arlo in the top 100 restaurants in Canada and made a reservation during a recent trip to Ottawa. We were very impressed with the restaurant, which is elegant but laid-back. We ordered the scallop tartare to share (which is bright, creamy, and delicious) and the duck frites to share too. The duck frites are a large portion, very good for sharing; the duck is tender and really exceptional. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. It was an excellent experience and I would definitely go back when I am next in the city.

We wanted a nice dinner out for our anniversary so we went to this favourite spot of ours. Well. What a great night! Perfect table, superb service, delicious food (oysters, scallops, white asparagus fried rice, duck) and wine. As a nice added touch, they printed custom menus wishing us a happy anniversary and mine was adjusted to respect my food restrictions. Double-wow! Our kind thanks to the chef, management and service team. That was wonderful and memorable.

Had a memorable meal at the bar at Arlo. Great wine list and we had a fantastic bottle by Christian Tschida, a Gruner/Sauvignon blanc blend. Delicious from start to finish. The food was great. Interesting flavors, textures and presentations. Pickled shrimp, beef tataki, summer salad, duck and ocean perch, all solid choices thoughtfully prepared and presented. Polished service team took great care of us until we walked out the door. Highly recommend a pleasant evening at Arlo.

Wow! Everything about this restaurant is top shelf: food, service, atmosphere, wine selections! A first-time visit but definitely not our last! Priced on the higher end but not crazy. Highly recommend!
