Aquila’s Nest Vineyards is a climate-neutral, experience-focused vineyard, winery, and event venue perched on a scenic hilltop in Newtown, CT—just 15 min from Danbury and 90 min north of New York City.

Since its debut in October 2020, Aquila’s Nest has focused on more than just wine—from intimate fire pit seating and curated wine and food pairings to craft workshops and vibrant events like tribute shows, dueling pianos, comedy nights, and weekly live music, every visit offers something new. The vineyard proudly partners with local women-owned businesses while creating meaningful community connections.

Taking the reins for our Taste of France Wine Dinner will be Loree Ogan, the esteemed owner of Loree's Fine Food, and Chef Susan Cardoza. With a distinguished 40-year career in the catering industry, Loree has orchestrated events from intimate gatherings of 20 to grand occasions hosting up to 10,000 guests, spanning from New Hampshire to Virginia. Loree's culinary journey includes studying cooking in France, Italy, and Spain, as well as at the renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park.   • Picnic Table Seating

    Varie date disponibili
    Outside picnic seating is a 2.5 hrs. reservation (shorter if it's booked for eod visits) and it comprises of a variety of tables and chairs. Guests will be seated at either picnic tables, or regular tables with chairs based on the size of the party or availability upon arrival. Most tables have umbrellas in the summer, but note that an umbrella is not guaranteed. Under certain weather conditions we reserve the right to limit umbrella usage for the safety of all our guests. **During off-peak hours like on a Wednesday/Thursday evening, Friday during the day, or special holidays, you can be seated at the upper level Patio Circles as well if there's availability. Upon arrival, please head to the hostess stand, where our staff will guide you to your reserved seating. Expect up to 15 minutes for transitions between reservations. Each seating lasts 2.5 hours (shorter for end-of-day visits or special events), with a 30-minute grace period for delays. • Service: Wine orders are placed at the bar; table service is not provided, though servers may stop by for refills. • Wine Menu: www.aquilasnestvineyards.com/our-wines-menu • Food Truck and Music Schedule: www.aquilasnestvineyards.com/visit-us Outside Beverages/Food • Outside Beverages: Outside alcohol and beverages, including water bottles, are prohibited per Farm Winery Permit regulations. Parents must supervise their children at all times to ensure they do not disturb guests, climb rocks or fences, or engage in unsafe behavior. Ball games are not allowed. • Dogs: Must be leashed and under control at all times. Dogs should not approach other guests or pets without permission. Owners are responsible for their dog’s behavior, including any aggression or excessive barking. Please clean up after your pet. Large Group Gatherings For groups of 10 or more that have not booked a Pergola, Igloo/Gazebo, Fireplace, or Private Event in advance, reservations are required.     Experience breathtaking views at Aquila's Nest Vineyards from our upper-level patio, where you can immerse yourself in live music or simply savor the serene vistas and captivating sunsets. Each Patio Circle accommodates min of 4 to 9 guests and is the perfect location to sample a flight or enjoy a bottle of wine from the vineyards collection. Reservations • Cost: $40 per patio circle for 2.5 hours. • Capacity: Up to 9 guests. Exceeding capacity may result in relocation without refund. • Small Parties: From May to October, Friday through Sunday or holidays, a $150 minimum purchase is required for small parties of 2-3 adult guests. • Service: A dedicated server will assist your group. A 22% gratuity applies for parties of 6+ guests. Food Truck service is not included. • Wine: Not included; available for purchase after ID verification. Non-alcoholic options available. • Seating: Includes a combination of Adirondack chairs and standard chairs. Policies • Tab Management: A single tab will be opened at the start with one card on file.
