I looked on their website to see the new menu since we haven’t eaten there in a couple years. I made a reservation. When we got there they gave us the buffet menu. I asked for the main menu and the server said they didn’t have one that day which was Thanksgiving. So we stayed and ate the buffet. The food was okay but my steak was cold. It cost $49 per person and if I could order from the menu, it would have been $10 cheaper and freshly made. They should have posted the buffet on their website.
A nice , relaxing restaraunt with great views and a very friendly staff. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Would appreciate a few more choices on the menu.
Sara was great!
Sara was our server and she did an amazing job very friendly.
Always great service and good food, we do go back since it is a local place for us.
We love coming here, but the salmon was terrible- the rice was cold and weird, more than once we’ve ordered something just to find out “they’ve run out”. They used to serve coconut shrimp- now it’s just battered. The batter on both the fish and shrimp is way too thick, not sure when we’ll return.
Had a lovely meal with inlaws. Took time to receive food but it was excellent. Will definitely go again
Celebration for 3 people. Everyone ordered different items. Everything was outstanding. Generous portions, enough leftovers for another great meal at home. The baked avocados were fabulous. Fish and chips were the best we'd ever had.
Service was outstanding. This is 4th visit in 6 weeks. Already planning a get together at Aqua Terra. BTW, the chef is top notch. Sure knows how to season.
Lovely place that we have gone to for years. Like many, they are short on staff and, also, have recently lost their chef so, right now, their menu is limited. Nice music on Friday evenings.
A very pleasant and relaxing time. Of course, it was Sunday evening so didn't expect crowds. Food was delicious and generous portions. Outstanding server, Monica.
Wonderful service, friendly and attentive staff, food was well plated, fresh and very tasty, highly recommend!
Nice place to have a lunch. Love sitting on the patio with views of the fountain and golf course. Staff was mostly masked, though our waitstaff kept dropping hers below her nose, sigh. Salads especially are fantastic. My spouse loves the prime rib dip. Gonna try the kicked up bloody Mary one of these days.
Great value and exceptional scenery
Food was excellent as well as service beautiful view!
Excellent service and cuisine. Attentive and friendly staff.
Friday nights are music nights. The night we went, the music was extremely loud and not to my taste. That said, others seemed to be really enjoying it. Just be aware if that’s not your kind of thing.
Great Outdoor seating, Food took a little while to come out but when it did it was completely worth it
Bday.. waitress food and desert suggestions super delicious!
Food was delicious. Kitchen was somewhat slow. Service was good, but again, a bit slow. Friendly, polite.
We would recommend to everyone. Food , service and ambiance is second to none.
The food at Aquaterra is always good, and the servers are efficient and friendly. It was a sunny day, so we enjoyed the view on the patio.
New chef excellent, service improved since last visit. They will not do separate checks for group of 6 single ladies dining together! Max of 2 checks per table.....very inconvenient. Will not dine here again with group of lady friends.
We had a a party of five. Service was good but food was just average. Nothing special. Endless Mimosas were good. Overall, for the price it was ok but i will go elsewhere for special occasions in future.
Mother’s Day brunch.
Went here for Mother's Day brunch. Our expectations were higher than they should have been, however, the menu was a little misleading. The "shareable brunch board" was just plates with mini toaster churros and pastries. The beignets were just donut holes. The crepes felt like they were just reheated. By this point, I was nervous to eat the paella because you don't mess around with seafood. The desserts left something to be wanting as well. I felt a bit bamboozled by the online menu in comparison to what we received. For some, this would be really nice, but I expected much more for $50 a person. For reference, a typical brunch at Wilson Creek Winery is the same price and the food is stellar.
Mother’s Day. Special Menu had items missing during service. Food was ok but needed some more thought and lacked flavor . Servers were very friendly but not very well trained. Special menu was difficult to understand and like I said items aka components were missing from the plates.
The food is great, the setting is beautiful, they had great guitar and percussion player... the service was a bit challenged, but the manager went above and beyond. Coming out of Covid, we appreciate the challenges and the manager was top notch . We will surely come back.
We go here often and always enjoy it. The outside deck is lovely and the food always good. Bar drinks could use some improvement, so I usually stick to wine. Food is excellent.
I would go back. I would alos tell others about going there.
We've been going to Aquaterra for many years. Unfortunately, their menu has changed (not as good), the service was not good. Once our server arrived, she was great. But we waited for a long time in the lobby to be seated (the hostess disappeared), then after being seated we continued to wait longer. I finally went and asked someone to please bring us some water.
I felt there should have been a covering for the table. At least paper placemats due to Covid.
So relaxing. Service was great. Very friendly staff. 3 of us got the clam chowder and French Dip and it was all so good.
Becoming one of go to Favorites. Be sure to try the Lasagna simply incredible the garlic fries are wonderful and addictive
Food was delicious, service was awesome, tables were all at least 6’ apart, and there were plenty of heaters available. I love this place! The view is fantastic if you’re lucky enough to get there during the daylight hours!
We drove from San Clemente to Pala Mesa which is about an hour, to meet my sister for lunch. She drove from Hemet, also about an hour. Even though we had reservations, it was closed. You need to do better than this!
Great food, drinks with outdoor patio and nice seating area. Also a plus is the small pond overlooking golf course
We were in the area and looking for a place to lunch. I remembered I had been there 30 years ago. Was not disappointed. Sat outside and it was a gorgeous day in November on the golf course and a beautiful landscape from the large patio.
Staff was very polite and friendly!! Food was excellent! Thank you Aquaterra for an excellent experience!! We will be back!!
