Everything was really great on the Thanksgiving buffet!!! Breakfast part was lacking a bit but it is a buffet so that's understandable.Dessert could have been a little better as well but the main buffet was really good!

Ran out of omelets. Ran out of ham. Cold mashed potatoes. Ran out of oysters. Told us to come back tomorrow for oysters. really! Ran out of pecan pie. Pumpkin pie was horrible with too much spices. Over powering with nutmeg. Fried shrimp was over cooked. Roast beef was so tough. The peel and eat shrimp was good. Only thing I enjoyed We have always gone to the downtown location and never had these issues. Our reservation was for 130. There was no excuse to be out of these items and still had to pay the full price. What a disgrace.

The food was horrible. The Fisherman platter is what we ordered everything was dry/over cooked & Oysters were not fresh or shucked well. We paid for our drinks and the appetizer and left. You would think a name it self would be indication of good quality but NOPE!

Loved our experience here for my boyfriends birthday! We had Glenn as our waiter and he made our time 10x better. Very good service/food, he even brought out a cup of ice cream/sprinkles and handwrote “Happy Birthday” in chocolate icing! What a memorable time, will definitely be coming back!

All of our dishes were pretty disappointing (and I am by no means a food snob…lol). Do not plan to go there for the quality of food…it’s the atmosphere that you are paying for! On a positive note our server was outstanding…so that helped offset the quality of the food 🤷‍♀️

This was our first visit to Aquarium Kemah (Sunday 6pm reservation), firstly there were far too many kids running wild and screaming, people in adjacent tables were rude and wait staff passed off my concerns, it was not a relaxed experience at all I booked with the selection for a birthday, when we arrived, I asked what was available (remember this was our first visit) and waiter said a bowl of ice cream with a candle, with me not knowing any better I said OK After the meal was finished and we were about to ask for the check, the waiter at the adjacent table brought an entire tray selection of numerous cakes for that table to choose from, it was an ah-ha moment knowing we would have easily purchased the cakes instead of a single bowl of ice cream, I was livid to put it mildly, the waiter’s inability to suggest what the restaurant has to fully offer was a total disappointment for the entire experience The woman's toilet has TP paper roll inserts that can be seen through between the partitions from one toilet stall to another, yet another WTH moment to add to the other shortcomings of this restaurant, we took photos and will be addressing this concern with their corporate office, and sharing this review with them as well. I suppose I expected more from the experience and the fam advertisements seem to be window dressings for what many would consider an experience not worth doing over. The food was simply OK, lack of spices for most of the food was bland and coconut batter shrimp was certainly far too sweet and unpalatable, we left quite a large amount of the food on the plate and did not eat it. I was unsure of the food temperature as well; I know off temperature food when I scoop into the center of a stuffed crab and it comes out room temperature. None of the food was actually hot when it arrived to the table. We will not be dining at any Aquariums in the furfure. Al Mahara Dubai is a luxurious dining experience, Ossiano in Dubai is fine food defined

It’s sad how much the Aquarium at Kemah has gone down. This used to be the place people would go for a Friday night dinner with family and friends, the wait for a table would be at least 20-40 minute and the waiting area would be packed. When we arrived the place was empty, there were 2 other tables in the entire dining room that were taken. Our waiter was really kind and patient with our party of 8, half of them being young kids. He was attentive and responsive. Food prices are really high, the kids meals are very reasonable and I know this is a tourist attraction but if the place is so dead, if all of Kemah is so dead then maybe make the prices at your restaurant more attractive to get more people out there. People can’t afford a 30.00 plate on a random Friday night. I get that the prices of everything is going up, still I think the prices at this place is just too high for what you get. I got the coconut shrimp, the fries were soggy and the shrimp only had a slight coconut flavor.. the only way the shrimp was good was if you dipped it in the dipping sauce but the sauce was way too sweet. I tried my husbands crab cake and that was good. Our crab dip was untouched by the table and my friends salmon was only half eaten. Again, you come here as a tourist but if you want good seafood, the Landry’s group has far better options. Will we back? Probably not.. will we visit other Landry’s concept around Houston? Absolutely.

Jace was exceptionally attentive. He had the personality and attention to detail that allowed him to be casual and relaxed-while still taking his job seriously. A very hard combination to find is a server or the food industry in general anymore.

Disappointing. Even with a reservation our wait was long. Well over half the tables in the restaurant were empty, so assuming lack of help. What were fish tanks throughout the restaurant are now painted columns except for a few. Feels cheap and takes away from the experience. The waitress was nice, but not all the food came at once so if you want to be polite and eat together, your meal will be cold. We will choose something else next visit to Kemah.

Expected prompt service since we had a reservation. But, must have picked a time between shifts. Waited a bit for a server to come to our table. Then, we ended up leaving because the expected menu option for vegetarians had been discontinued

The food was awful and overpriced! Both types of gumbo were tasteless. I had to ask for Tabasco sauce to add some flavor. The shrimp in the watermelon salad didn’t taste like shrimp and they were tough. The peaches in the salad were tasteless. Everyone at our table tried the peaches and thought they were weird I’m consistency. The best thing that we ordered was the fried alligator. The service was okay. I had to find my waitress to get the Tabasco sauce and by the time I tracked her down, the gumbo was cold and everyone else at the table had finished their meals. The fish were fun to watch, although it would have been nice if they were more colorful.

The food here is pretty bad. My friend and I both got wraps, the shrimp in mine was fishy, dry, and rubbery. Her chicken was super dry and overcooked. My husbands Cajun pasta dish was the worst, sauce was watery, pasta overcooked, vegetables undercooked, and shrimp over cooked and rubbery. Disgusting. Also his pasta was forgotten about and came about 15 minutes after everyone else’s food. Service was very sub par overall. The restaurant itself is such a neat experience for kids with all the fish and has a stellar location. I really wish the food and service were better.

Great experience! Food was great quality, nicely cooked and presented. Service was over the top ! Our first visit with grandkids and it could not have been better- the aquarium, cleanliness, and overall experience was top notch, and our server was a great part of it! Highly recommend.

Our server Louis was very rude and when asked a question about the restroom, he responded with “over there” very rudely. He threw the little plates at us when we got our oysters. Then when he took our order I told him the exact name that was written on the menu and acted like he had no clue what that was. Food was great just very rude service. And as a vendor I thought we would at least be treated a little better than what we were given.

We didn’t come with high expectations but came for my daughters birthday for the aquarium. The service wasn’t great and she was even training someone new. Drink order was wrong. She completely forgot to put a meal in to order. By the time it came out everyone was already done eating. We were still charged for the meal. The fish tacos were basically tortillas filled with cabbage and barely any fish. The other fish entrees were dry and just tasted like frozen fish. The aquarium itself was alright, although they’re were probably half the fish there used to be. We came. We saw. We won’t be going back.
