My favorite restaurant in Las Vegas
The food was very good, the service time was extremely slow. Additionally, the restaurant advertises an $89/person special in front of the restaurant. However, the sign was not noticed by our party until the next day. When we inquired, then, with the hostess; she indicated the wait staff is not expected to mention this special. Several in our party paid full menu pricing for the exact items included in the special. The is a deceitful practice. We will not return.
We were seated in a private room with an oval shaped table. Absolutely perfect for our party of 8. The food was excellent and the service was great. We were all pleased with the evening.
Food was just OK. The service was underwhelming. I was hosting a business dinner for 9. The appetizer pricing and options were not explained well at all. I ordered the big seafood appetizer understanding it would be enough for the whole table. After thinking it through, I had the waiter come back and he then explained they would be bringing 4 of them @ $83 each. He allowed me to cancel it, which was good, but I was a bit embarrassed. 8 of us were served our meals but the 9th guests meal was missing. They either forgot to put it in, or the kitchen messed up. I dine out frequently, and I understand things happen. They did bring her a bowl of soup to eat while the rest of us had our meals.
When the bill came, they did comp the meal they messed up, so they did make it right, which was appreciated. They also removed the automatic gratuity and allowed me to figure my own tip. I still tipped 20% because I don't believe the missing meal was the server's fault.
To be a successful restaurant in Vegas, you have to be top notch and provide exceptional service. Aquaknox was disappointing. The overall dining experience was OK at best. With Delmonico right next door, and tons of other options very close by, they'll need to improve if they want to keep their spot in the Venetian.
Everyone s diner was exceptional. The fis soup was best I’ve ever eaten. Similar to ciopppino but with lobster.
Great food, Surprisingly pleasant and quiet booth, very fluid with the menu and making personal adjustments which we greatly appreciated, sommelier worked with me to find the perfect selection. Highly recommend!
Outstanding service !! Food was excellent but a bit overpriced!
This resteraunt is located in the Venetian. They serve seafood with the ambiance of being under water (everything is blue). While accommodating for kids, this is definitely not a place to take kids under 8. Prices are very high, while the food is of great quality (very complex tastes). A great spot for a date or special occasion.
Aquaknox Fish soup outstanding! Did not expect amount and quality of fish in delicious tomato broth over couscous. I had filet mignon mesquite grilled with Madeira sauce- melted like butter in your mouth. Expensive but good portions of excellent prepared foods! Definitely will go back.
Amazing restaurant! Highly recommend the Barramundi and the Chilean Sea Bass. Near the top of my all time dining experiences!!!!!
This restaurant didn't meet my expectations, the servers dint treat you as a welcome guest, if you have a question of the menu they answer but not in a friendly manner.
This was the second try I gave to this restaurant and that was it, next time Red Lobster will be better and chipper, at least better service, the worst of all was that the restaurant was empty only a few tables were occupied, now I know why.
What a fabulous find in Vegas! Great seafood and lovely presentation!! Beautiful atmosphere and superb service. The bread pudding dessert was over the top!! Can’t wait to go back...!
Thank you very much!!
Food is marvelous here. Staff is super. Environment is superb! I have special dietary needs and I was so happy with what I was offered. My husband loved the bread pudding.
Very nice food but very expensive especially the wine
I highly recommend this restaurant if your pallete calls for seafood! The staff was so courteous and they suggested some great options off the menu. It was a surprise birthday dinner for my wife and she absolutely loved the food. The even brought out a cute, complementary birthday treat at the end of our meal. A+++
Our favorite restaurant on the strip! The seafood plateau appetizer is worth every penny! Great for 3-4 people. The sea scallops were the best I have ever had. Service was wonderful! Wish we had this restaurant in our home city! Will go back every time we are in Vegas!
Our waiters Thomas and Brian took great care of us. Excellent attentive service and amazing value for Las Vegas. With great high end restaurant touches like the hot moist towelettes and amuse Bouche surprises
From the service to the food, everything was perfection. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 3 year anniversary and everything was amazing! We knew going into dinner that the price was going to be up there but it was worth it! Definitely a great spot to celebrate special occasions like ours.
Service and food was excellent. We enjoyed it very much.
Beautiful decor. I had the special of surf and turf and the hubby had the bone in ribeye . Both entrees were very good and excellent presentation . Wine was very good but really pricey. Service could not have better...friendly and efficient but not intrusive.
It is definitely more s seafood place. The steak was a bit under seasoned but cooked perfectly. I will be going back
Barramundi was excellent as was the lobster appetizer. My wife raved about the halibut.
Service and ambiance made it a perfect anniversary dinner.
As always, the perfect dining experience! This is our favorite restaurant in America.
Awesome experience. Great service. The food and drinks were excellent. Overall great dining experience.
Our second visit to the Aquaknox which is located in the Venetian/Palazzo right outside their Conference Center. As previously the Open table reservations worked great, and were seated right away, along with the restaurant taking note of our request for a booth, and the celebration of our anniversary. Still the go-to place for a delicious Chilean Sea Bass, with a crab/corn succotash. The Lobster Bisque rich and velvety, but would pass on the Crab Louie Salad, as it seem to mostly shrimp with threads of crab. The service was excellent and timing of the food delivery was spot on. As mention before, this restaurant is on the higher side of dining, but for special occasions is worth our time. FYI – booths make a great place for a romantic dining experience. The one negative, is the slow rotating lights of blue and white (for Ocean atmosphere) makes it extremely difficult to read the menus.
Second time we visited this restaurant. The price for the crab legs changed from 45 to 85 for the appetizer portion which is prohibitive for two small crab legs. So we didn’t order them as before. The previous time we were there, the crab legs and green goddess Crab Louie Salad were amazing as was the wine we selected, although very pricey. Too bad, because the previous time we were there, the crab legs were amazing and we went back just for them. Disappointed. Overall, the food we did order was good, but not outstanding.
Service was excellent. Our steak came out medium rare but it was corrected to perfection, medium. The food was very delicious. Seafood trio, strawberry salad , bone-in ribeye ( madera sauce was oh so delicious), and tiramisu (presented differently and so good).
It’s sad that there were only a handful of people dining at 6:15.
Great food and service. A must for a date or get away weekend with your significant other.
I booked this restaurant for my anniversary. The restaurant was 20% full, the staff were not very friendly. No mention about our anniversary nor they asked if we are celebrating a special occasion. The server mislead us when we ordered food as he was trying for us to order what was off the menu. He recommended the king crabs for my husband telling us that it was 1 lb. when got the food it was two legs of crab alone for $90.
The food was way overpriced and very small portions. We had to ask for bread on side.
Definitely we were not impressed at all. Our experience at the Wynn Restaurants was way better and rewarding.
Chris our Waiter did a fantastic job allowing for our conversations without interruption. Baramundi, Seabass, Lobster Bisque(A Must) along with their proprietary wines and let me not forget the butterscotch bread pudding.
I will return again always a great experience.
Both barramundi and halibut were beautifully prepared and presented. House wine went well. All Overpriced.
The Service is outstanding! The food is excellent and well prepared. I was with my wife and a friend celebrating her birthday the wait staff went out of their way to make her feel special on her birthday! Great experience highly recommend.
Great service and food was great!
First time visit was great! I had a real craving for caviar, and they fulfilled it. I really like places that serve it with blinis, but this place serves it with cucumber slices along with the other standard compliments...Never had caviar with cucumber...Very refreshing!😁. And of course the lobster bisque was superb! The freshness just slapped me in the face. Lol! And take advantage of their specials. I had the surf n turf of the evening, and it was wonderful.
Thank you, AquaKnox ☺️
Disclaimer: I’m not a big fish eater - lobster and shrimp is usually as far as I’ll go as far as seafood. But I wanted to try something different since meat and potatoes were getting pretty old. The lobster bisque is an absolute MUST TRY. The presentation was very unique! My husband had the scallops, and he’s a snob when it comes to those things. He said they were the best scallops he’s ever had. I personally can’t stand the texture but the taste was spot on. I went completely out of the box and ordered the barramundi, a white fish similar to halibut. It’s not fishy at all, and was probably the best thing I have eaten so far during this trip to Vegas. We also ordered the sweet corn succotash as a side, and it was amazing! Perfect pairing for fish. Specialty cocktails were pretty good too! Definitely give this place a try! It’s very reasonable as far as price goes.
They even brought us a free dessert “amuse bouche” style for our anniversary with “Happy Anniversary” written in chocolate on the plate. So very sweet of them!
Had a dinner with coworkers and senior management who were in town for a trade show. I was able to get a reservation at Aquknox and we were looking forward to stellar service and food at this relatively new spot. While the food was above average, it did not live up to it's price point.
And the service was obnoxiously SLOW given that the restaurant wasn't completely full.
All in all it was a good meal, but did not meet expectations of an elite Vegas spot....
The food and the service were on the plus side of excellent. The Aquaknox Fish Soup was by far the best I’ve ever had.
