Considering the location I can understand the costs but really wasn't worth the prices.
great seafood restaurant..sad to learn that they will be leaving the strip in January
Absolutely our favorite restaurant in America. The experience this time was superb and special.
Food was ok and overpriced for the quantity and quality. Drinks were over price and environment was sterile not very relaxing.
Too expensive. Great service and wonderful ambience but it wasn’t worth the money for the food we got. The food was good except the Tiramisu, which was a “deconstructed” Tiramisu, that is all the components stacked up. Lady fingers were not soaked in espresso, they were right out of the bag hard, the mascarpone cream was good but the piece of chocolate bark didn’t cut it for us. The peach bread pudding was delicious. Again, good but def not a great value. I had a filet Migno and a very small half lobster tail with a little crab stuffing, 2 stalks of asparagus, creamed potatoes, tiramisu and iced tea for $200!!!! Yep you read that right. Never again.
The food is terrific. The seafood is incredibly fresh. However, what makes Aquaknox stand out is the fabulous service and the attention to ever need of the diner that makes this resturant so right for a special occasion.
Went here for an anniversary dinner and they seated us in a nice little booth which was really great. Food was good overall, but not spectacular. Good wines available by the glass. Would go back again, but probably wouldn't spend money on a steak again.
Surf and turf was just fair. Service was great!
Fantastic service. Food was AMAZING!
Food was excellent but plates were smaller than expected and over priced.
What a terrible shame that this restaurant is closing. This is a wonderful, elegant restaurant at which I have dined many times. The food and the service are fabulous. The only complaint I have is that the tables are extremely close together and access is limited when in a wheelchair or using other equipment. I use a wheelchair and the hostess did not understand my concern for egress when seating my party, and after dinner, I had to get assistance to maneuver out of the restaurant. The hostess had to ask other people to stand and move away from their table to let me by, which was extremely embarrassing for me and terribly disruptive for them.
One of our daily dining destination
Great time with Mrs on her birthday and the service and meal didn't disappoint at all!!
USED To Be Our Favorite Restaurant in Vegas. What a Shame!
We are in Las Vegas 3 or 4 times a year and always enjoy going to Aquanox. We will never be going back!
Our last experience was a total disaster. All the servers were congregating at the bar and not attending to their diners. We had to call our server to our table several times because of problems with our dinner.
My husband and I shared the Fish Soup, their version of bouillabaisse, always our favorite. My daughter ordered the Sea Bass with truffles and we asked the server if their were shaved truffles on the Bass, he said yes. My son ordered the Scallops with Squid Ink Pasta.
Our Fish Soup was served split, but not evenly like it usually is. They also neglected to give us a bucket for the shells until we asked. When the Sea Bass came out, there was not a hint of truffle flavor or any truffles in sight. When we told our server, he brought out a small cup of truffle oil and said you can put it on yourself. My son ate his scallops which were very good, but when he started to eat the squid ink pasta, it was stiff on the fork. He took a bite and it crunched. The pasta WAS NOT COOKED! At this point, we asked to speak with the manager. They replaced the Sea Bass with another Scallop dish and also replaced my son's pasta. They took those items off our bill, but there was no explanation for all the screw ups and for the most part, they didn’t seem to care. My husband had to find the manager before leaving and his comment was "I took the two bad dishes off your bill, what more do you need?"
We have never has such a terrible experience at this restaurant and we have always recommended it to our friends. Recommendations will not be happening for Aquanox ever again.
Food and drinks were fantastic! Great waiter and staff.
The shrimp in the ceviche was so small, not an upscale presentation. Very little portion and the crab salad was mushy.
The service seemed very chaotic. When asked questions they often had to go check with someone. The wine list is sub-par and tries to push their house wine. The Black Garlic Caesar was boring, expected more especially for the price. For my entree I ordered the Bone-In Ribeye Oscar Style. It was cooked to proper temperature but was incredibly tough and the steak knife couldn't even cut through it. Sharpen your steak knives. The dessert selection was pretty minimal. I made the mistake of ordering a peach dessert in November. My suggestion, make desserts with ingredients that are in season.
The food and the service are excellent. The portions are modest but certainly sufficient for most to enjoy a satisfying meal. Prices are not for those on a budget, and the drink prices are outrageous, but the quality of the dishes and their presentation makes up for some of that.
One tip: for quiet conversation, get a booth, which is almost like having a private room. The tables are a bit noisy, but quite acceptable if you want a livelier atmosphere.
Aquaknox service was the best thing going for this establishment. The quality of food was down right terrible along with no flavor. This restaurant way extremely over priced. Please do not waste your time and money, there are other quality restaurants near.
I had the opportunity to thank a very important veteran by way of a good meal at Aquaknox. Due to dietary restrictions we asked to substitute mashed potatoes with fingerling potatoes that were on the menu with another entree. The waitress said that would be fine and took the order but the chef refused. After being refused a second request for a substitution we left the restaurant. A place that commands $50-$100 entrees ought to at least try to accommodate a disabled veterans dietary restrictions for Veterans Day. Very poor judgement. Very poor choice. Very poor service. Very very poor! Perhaps the chef is un-American? If you want to pay 150 a person for a meal without asking for anything so the chef is comfortable then this is your restaurant.
I had surf and turf which was PHENOMENAL.
Absolutely a fantastic restaurant. Our servers, Carlos and Carson, were awesome. The chef, Josh, is very, very talented. Tremendous food in a very comfortable environment.
We first went to Aquaknox in ‘07. It was great then and not much fall off now we are in ‘18. The could step up the appearance to match the prices. But I must say the food was delectable and worth every penny. The salmon was just as delicious this time as it was the first time. The wait staff was amazing and very knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. We will definitely return on our next visit to Vegas. Blessings
Food and service was great! Made a request for a booth seating and I really liked it. Second time dining at AquaKnox. Can’t wait till the next time I have a chance to dine there again!
Marvelous dinner. Our server Brian went out of his way to be sure that everything is exceeded our expectations. It was truly an outstanding experience!
This was by far the best dining experience we had in Las Vegas. I am very specific how I like my drinks and the waiter and bar staff very patiently listened and then delivered it perfectly. It was my wife birthday and she has quite a few food allergies. The chef modified each and every dish she ordered to accommodate her and, even better, they did not simply leave off the things she is allergic to but they made substitutes that ensured her dish tasted superb. She had the oysters and salmon. i had the grilled prawns and cous cous, both of which were sublime. One of our friend had the fish stew, which I tired and felt as though I had never had better.
The service was outstanding. The waiter and bus staff, took the time to speak with us and were very friendly. The manager came and spoke with us to ensure everything had been done perfectly and even Josh, the sous chef came out and spoke with us. The waiter recommended the butterscotch bread pudding for desert and boy was he right. it was so delicious. To make it even better, they deducted the cost of the desert as a birthday gift.
This was our third visit to Aquanox. We were told it is closing in January which sorely disappointed us. I wish they would not close. However, I can only reiterate, this was an outstanding dining experience both from the food and service perspective.
The food was outstanding, probably the best meal we had while in Vegas. The service was second to none. We had two people serving and taking care of us all night.
I enjoyed my food, but the customer service wasn't too great. My friend asked for vegetarian options and the server said they only had one option although there were clearly other options. When my friend asked about some of the veggie side options since the one entree option wasn't appealing to her, the waitress scoffed and saying, "Those are just sides. Not an entree." My friend decided to just settle with dessert and a drink although she shouldn't have had to. I guess the waitress didn't feel like being bothered I guess. I got that feeling throughout the night. I won't be back. There are plenty of other restaurants I have visited on the strip with better service.
Our party of 3 had a wonderful meal with exceptional service!
Fantastic Food. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. We had a fun night. Thank you!!
A little on the pricey side. Food is getting way to expensive in Vegas
Excellent service. Extensive menu. At first we thought it was going to be too open and therefore noisy, however we were taken to a private row of tables on the left which were great for a romantic evening together. The food was delicious, the lobster bisque was the best I have ever tasted. Our entrees were also outstanding.
Love this place! Come every year. When you go, make sure to have the seafood plateau and Absinthe!
Great food, great dish creativity, great service. Every course from appetizers to entree was simply superb. The staff was attentive ,and cordial . This is one if the finest seafood restaurants that I have dined at . Can’t wait to dine at Aquakbox in my next Vegas visit.
Food and service are always impeccable here wish it was in my neighborhood.
Had a great food experiance. Staff was very helpful and pleasent. Enjoyed the setting and you cant go wrong, with anything off the menu. The raw bar was my faviortie.
Great seafood - loved the branzino! Service was very good and attentive. Dietary restrictions taken seriously. Ambiance was different, not what I expected.
it was amazing. Will definitely recommend to freinds
Service was AMAZING. Food was great! The crab leg appetizer special ($45) was insanely good. We wanted to split the surf and turf but accidentally ordered a lobster and a steak and the bill with tip came to over $400 (with no alcohol!). The portions were also large, so we ended up giving our leftovers to a homeless person so it wouldn't go to waste. The food was amazing and service was great, but I would definitely split an entree since it was so pricey.
One of our absolute favorites in Las Vegas. The food was excellent as always, service was friendly and attentive, drinks well-prepared and delicious.
