Everything was very good. Our third time eating here. We brought company which also enjoyed the food. The only downside is we ordered a sushi roll as an appetizer but was very surprised when our meal appeared 30 seconds after our sushi was served.

Lovely date night with the Mr. Stunning decor, our server was outstanding!!! We waiting to try this place after they worked out any kinks. Mainly wanting to try the sushi dishes. We started off with Caesar salad, nice bright dressing, and the yellowtail hamachi. That was amazing, could use more of the dressing though, we only had a tiny bit on the dish. We then went for the skinny salmon roll, baked oysters and Chu Toro( our favorite for the evening) We both had cocktails, Mr. Did the treasure chest which is a smoker old fashioned that comes in a smoke filled chest. I had the Royalty and it was nice and refreshing. We will def be back to try the main entrees next time and different items.

We had an early meal, not sure if that was why it was so brightly lit but it was distracting. I do wish they’d seat adults without children separate from families with young children, totally detracts from the ambiance. I was surprised that we were given boxes for leftovers and not boxed by the server as what I usually experience when dining at higher end restaurants. The food was very good however due to the issues I’ve addressed I’m not sure I’ll return.

I was excited to try this place for lunch because we enjoyed it over the holidays for dinner last year. We requested a table near the trees and the decor really added to our experience. The service and the food did not disappoint. The Papardelle with grilled shrimp, steak and frites, crunchy Chu Toro & Ultimate Tuna roll were all amazing! Don’t miss the crispy brussels sprouts, and the truffle fries as well. We can’t wait to go back.

My partner and I attended to celebrate our anniversary. The service was phenomenal, but unfortunately the main courses and sides were quite disappointing. The website gives a smooth/sexy ambience, but the restaurant itself felt very bright and sterile—more like an Olive Garden than anything else. Perhaps we misjudged the restaurant based on the menu, prices, and online photos, but this was not what we expected. We did appreciate the wait staff’s kindness and the comped dessert for our anniversary, but will not return for another meal.

We went for an anniversary lunch and it was delicious! It was reasonably priced (for a nicer restaurant) but felt special due to the ambiance and decor. Will definitely go back for a dinner date

There is a lot of incredible places in SLC to eat for a lot less money. The food should be half the price at best and this review would be different. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was even close to great or in line with prices. And The atmosphere is like an upgraded hospital cafeteria. It has a strong cafeteria vibe that has been painted and some random art decor. Really disappointed overall.

Service from start to finish lacked attention to detail. Selection of a suitable seating arrangement by the hostess was almost as difficult if getting a server to take care of us. Strange atmosphere and experience. I will not recommend this restaurant to others.

My wife's birthday, was a special night out. and the Server and the selection of food was excellent, the blackened steelhead was very good.....for dessert Sally chose the lime pie without the crust, served in a large bowl, with a few blue berries.....the coffee was excellent----just a very enjoyable evening. Just an excellent resturant to celebrate a special event, you will enjoy it too.

This was a very pleasant surprise for us. We didn't know what to expect but love to try new places. The service was great and the food was unique and delicious. We will absolutely be going back. My only complaint is one I have of nearly all restaurants - I do not like the open environment. I want a little bit of privacy but this places was all open and it's hard not to hear conversations of everyone around you.

Waaaaay overpriced. Umm, so yeah. It’s in a mall!! You cannot have a $75 elk dish in a restaurant at a mall. And a $22 cocktail in Utah is absurd (considering it is measured to the ounce). Wait staff great but just couldn’t make up for the mid food and astronomical pricing. #notLA

The overall experience was alright, however, a few key things. The steak I had was NOT medium rare. The inside looked like it was well done. Second, we asked for a salad and did not receive it until we asked again AFTER the main course was served. Otherwise, the yellowtail was delicious as well as the scallops.

We (party of 3) were there on a not-so-busy Wednesday night so we had a nice quiet table. The service was attentive and the food was very good. Filet mignon was perfect temperature and otoro sashimi was as tender as we've ever had. The milkshake was a fun dessert. Black cod was flavorful and the sides were generous. Great downtown location so perfect for combining with shopping or entertainment.

We generally support “local restaurants only” and based on what we had, we will continue. Sushi rolls were unique and good. Baked oysters were horrible; basing on eating fresh straight from water to plate in Boston—for the price I would suggest passing. Ahi Poke, would pass—no flavor at all—bland. We left somewhat disappointed—not worth mentioning or suggesting to friends. The overall ambience is okay. The staff is very welcoming and attentive—probably the best part of the experience.

This Place is a Gem . There is an entrance from the Street and the mall . The hostess checkin is mall side . They accommodated our late arrival due to hotel check in delay . The food was delicious, good portion size , pretty Instagram presentation. Sushi rolls were Yummy . I would eat here again .

We were quickly and warmly greeted upon arrival, and Akron to our seat. Zachary immediately came to our table and made some great recommendations based on our ask of his favorites, as well as popular sushi items. He was descriptive and answered our questions. Because of his recommendation, we split the Caesar salad, and it was divine. The dressing was light and tangy, and the crispy capers were the perfect touch. The toro crispy rice appetizer was also delicious, and we enjoyed the flavor of the toro over the unique texture of the crispy rice. The complimentary warm cheese bread was a nice touch. Think a cheesy focaccia. We ordered two rolls. I was impressed with how light and fresh the miso sea cod was. The micro greens added some really unique flavor bursts. The skinny salmon roll was also quite fresh and tasty. It was served over a sweet sauce, that hinted at honey and raspberry, maybe? The dessert we selected was something chocolate, sinful, and gluten free, and well worth the caloric expenditure. Our drinks were never empty. Zachary was a delightful, knowledgeable, engaging server. The kind of person you would definitely want on your restaurant team. It is nice to see a non-chain, high quality, beautiful restaurant in City Creek. We will definitely be back. Bravo for a well run restaurant.

Our anniversary was good the only issue we had was that the restaurant had some entrees that were won’t available we were saddened that we couldn’t experience those dishes. The staff was wonderful, when we asked the waitress to ask the chef to modify the dish the waitress came back with a message that the chef didn’t feel comfortable with being to standard entree with the modifications. With that being said it would have been good hospitality to have the kitchen manager or chef to come out to discuss the issues

Service was terrible. Food didn’t come out together, timing was way off. We were told at 8:45pm on a Saturday night that the coffee machine was already off for the night, no after dinner coffee with desert? Way too expensive for the quality of experience. Food was good, inventive for sure, but not worth the price tag. I don’t mind expensive food if it’s fabulous. This was not fabulous in any way. Server was nice and apologetic, I felt bad for her. The product was sub par overall.

The service was good throughout. We tested the sushi and were disappointed. The complimentary focaccia bread served at the start was a nice touch, but it was out of place and was dry, with low quality cheese solidified in and on it. Overpriced small tasting portions of decent, but not noteworthy sashimi accompanied by uninspired rolls. The 'fried rice' sushi looked intriguing enough to try, but turned out to taste simply dull - like old rice that should have been served warm. We were still hungry and tested several rolls and nigiri - not bad, but still nothing amazing. At ~$100 pp w/o alcoholic drinks, it is not worth a return.
