The restaurant was packed, inside and out. No social distancing.
Before we were seated we were asked what kind of water we wanted.
Immediately upon being seated we were asked for our drink order. When we said we were looking at the wine list, we were given a dismissive look.
Our waiter was wearing his mask under his nose and he kept disappearing as he had a dozen or so tables.
Hostess kept walking around checking on where we were in our meal.
Ordered oysters...25 minutes later our main course arrived.
We commented that we were waiting for our oysters. A busser took our meals away.
Oysters finally arrived with our wine...we had to pour it ourselves.
Our main food had apparently just been sitting and waiting.
We questioned a waiter as ours was running to other tables...as the food was now not at proper temperature from sitting almost 30 minutes....and the response was "it should still be ok to eat".
We asked for it to be replaced.
Meals arrived with no seasoning or flavor at all. We asked for salt and again was given a grimaced look.
Dirty dishes sat on the table and still no one to pour the wine.
I guess it's more of a place to be seen and be part of the scene than to have a great meal.
The food was good but not as good as I expected based on other reviews. We started with the octopus with eggplant--those two parts really didn't seem to go together. The octopus was grilled but lightly and the eggplant (caponatta) was too sweet to accompany the octopus, in my opinion. We also had the broccoli rabe as a starter, which was good. My husband had the lobster pillows (ravioli)--he liked it but I thought the sauce was on the sweet side. I had the spaghetti vongoli, which had a nice light flavor and small (very small) clams but it didn't taste like homemade pasta. Overall the dishes were good but not outstanding. The indoor atmosphere was nice--not too loud yet festive. Service was good. I would not go back nor recommend--it's pretty pricey for pretty good pasta.
Service was good. They changed their menu nothing special about it. They use to be unique with their menu. They need a dessert chef their key lime pie is good but o will not call it let lime pie. Their chocolate mousse very thick it needs to be fluffy and light.
Wonderful setting for a date with my husband.. we have recently moved to the Nortb Ens and walk by often! Beautiful setting and great food— may be our new spot!!
Always have a good meal and experience here!
Wonderful experience. The food was great and the service was fantastic. The waitstaff are very outgoing and seem to be having fun at the same time. The nice ambience is a plus.
Love the food and the ambiance. Seating at the bar with great service,
We noticed prices have increased and smaller servings with some dishes
Awful service! Worse in the North End.
Amazing meal. Everything was perfect!
Service was great, food was average, overall a good place!
We got the seafood tower and everything on there was delicious and so fresh, shrimp cocktail was almost the size of the lobster tail. Everyone loved their entrees, location on a quiet side street and loved sitting outside. Marisa was our service and she was amazing. Will go back again, maybe even this weekend!!
Absolutely my favorite spot in the north end. You can never go wrong with their food, ambiance and service!
Outstanding!!! A must go when in North End in Boston!
Had the spaghetti with clams. It was a ridiculously small portion. Left hungry and so many better options in the North End. Very disappointed!
Food: Overall good, however the risotto was a bit too salty for my taste
Service: Please bring new silverware between courses. If someone gives their starter fork and knife back, please bring fresh ones. I had to get mine from an empty table
This place is clearly two levels below Bricco.
Entrance: Switch the light on and have someone welcome the guests.
The tartare was amazing! The manicotti was delicious!
Our server Marissa was amazing. Food was outstanding!
Solid North End with DePasquale Ventures staples like Italian Fries, Manicotti, Filet Mignon, Veal Milanese, and other dishes. Good service and great people watching when seated outdoors.
Good from appetizer to entree and wine was all fabulous. Very authentic. Highly highly recommend
Fantastic experience. The restaurant recreates the atmosphere of the old ‘Mare’ which used to be in the same location, but almost seems to be a level above. Service was highly attentive and cordial and the quality of the food was outstanding. (With one exception: The Tiramisu is being made ‘table side’ - that simply does not work because the dessert needs to set for several hours, so this came across as ‘gimmicky’). But overall an outstanding meal and I can’t wait to go back.
Fantastic experience! Fresh, excellent food and great service!
This was a great find- the tiramisu is a must try. Service was great- good wine. Would go back!
Very tasty cheese plate and entrees - the spaghetti Vongole was good. The truffle cheese on the board was so good! Our server was very polite
Antonio was a delight, the food was delicious.
Marissa the server and "Richard the Bread Man" were fantastically attentive. Food was impeccable.
Best dinner I have ever had.
Our first dining experience at Aqua Pazza won’t be the last. The maitre d and wait staff were so accommodating, professional and downright pleasant and friendly. Great and varied menu. Each one of our many appetizer and main meal selections was fresh and delicious. Although it was a beautiful and bustling Saturday night in the North End, we never felt rushed or crowded. Thank you to everyone at Aqua Pazza for an all-around great experience. We look forward to seeing you again real soon.
The outdoor seating was a little noisy but when it is on the street you can't expect it any different. Very good service and very well done classic such as spaghetti and clams and chicken parmigiana. Definitely would go back again.
So delicious! Such a fun experience! We will definitely be back again.
The food was excellent. Service was friendly, accurate, quicker than expected. Will definitely be back to try more.
Good eggplant parmigiana and wild boar pappardelle, but the octopus was really terrible. Wonderful service, very friendly waitress and overall ambience.
My wife and I had Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and Oysters for appetizers. They were good. For main course, we had the Gnocchi and the Risotto of the Day (seafood risotto). My wife loved her Gnocchi. The seafood risotto was okay. Nothing stunning. I also tried the margarita di palma. Not my cup of tea to have OJ in it.
Amazing good. Great service. Authentic Italian cuisine. Will go back and recommend to all!
I've eaten at other DePasquale restaurants and they're all good too. This was amazing. Would recommend to anyone and would go back again.

Wonderful experience. Excellent food, great service and pleasant ambiance in always fun Northend.
Excellent service and amazing food. Staff was lovely and smart. Lively Boston North End. What a fun Sunday evening.
Delicious! The wait staff was very professional and the ambiance is fantastic.
Horrible service and unfriendly staff that rushed our group out of their restaurant. Food was mediocre at best. Wouldn’t recommend or return, as there are other restaurants nearby with much better food and service.
Absolutely delicious. All of the seafood was incredible.
We had a fantastic meal. This property is gorgeous--modern without being industrial or impersonal. What really set the night apart was the outstanding service we received from Antonio--a true professional. Will certainly be back.
