Aqua Mare Cucina Italiana by Villa Capri in Del Mar offers a menu inspired by responsibly sourced local food. It's a place to enjoy fresh, delicious plates and relax watching our beautiful view of the lagoon and the ocean. In addition to fresh fish and seafood, Aqua Mare Cucina Italiana in Del Mar serves fresh homemade pasta, risotto, chicken, steak and vegetarian options. It is open for dinner Monday through Sunday from 4pm to 9pm, and for lunch Sunday from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. The view and atmosphere was perfect for a date night. Seafood pasta dishes were customizable, which let us substitute in a different protein. Was not too crowded and the patio made for a great dining experience.

Very enjoyable dinner! Server, food, view, noise level….all perfect! Can’t get any better than this! Loved everything about it! Server was excellent and friendly.

First time was a surprise. For Italian cuisine outstanding. The best Fried Calamari in SD and we've tried several places. We tried the Branzino from the regular menu and the Swordfish from the Special menu. Served hot, excellent preparation, delicate, moist and definitely to our taste. We will be back for sure.

Dined there three times in past month....excelllent new addition to Del Mar dining. Lovely views, family fun-atmosphere, excellent Italian fare. Reasonable priced.

We love going to Aqua Mare Cucina Italia for special occasions. The food is always superb and the setting delightful. You can dress up or dress down and be comfortable either way.

Variable quality of food, some outstanding some very disappointing. The eggplant app was fabulous: tender flavorful delious. The artichoke was probably canned! Yuck The Osso Bucco and pasta were rich and delightful. Best ever. The veal Piccata was problematic. Lovely sauce, full of capers and flavor but the veal itself was not good. in fact maybe off given the gi problems later. Lasagna was old fashion meaty and excellent. The tomato sauce was rich in fennel which i loved.
