   The food was spectacular enough to distract me from the overly warm room. I had the oven-roasted whole fish, which was very, very good. Others tried the signature wild-boar lasagna, open squash ravioli, and meatballs. The oenophiles in our group ordered an expensive bottle of wine but ended up sending it back; they said it had probably been improperly stored. (The staff were very gracious about it.) If you love Italian, try ápizz.

   Nicely dimmed lights, woodburn fire from the oven that you can see from dining room! Place pretty laid back and romantic. Service was really nice so as food. Wine list was pretty good as well. You can find nice bottle with a good value. Overal is a great experience. My fiancée and I just stopped by for dinner but felt like we on a date.

   This is the first restaurant I've ever been to where everything was perfect. Went to celebrate a special occasion & it was impeccable; the food was amazing, the wine (Malbec) was amazing, the space was amazing! We had the gnocchi & the bolognese. Wow the bolognese was the bet I've ever had, the flavor a surprised me because it was that good. I highly recommend this place!

   Great place for a birthday dinner or any occasion! The food, service and ambiance was fabulous. Can't wait to come back! This restaurant was recommended to me and now I will recommend it to all my friends!! Wonderful experience.

   My wife and I really enjoyed Apizz. Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly service. We loved the lamb ragu and the polenta/mushroom appetizer.

   We wanted to try this restaurant when visiting New York because i had read John's book "a man and his meatball" which is the story of the chef and owner of Apizz. I have to say that the restaurant was phenomenal and we will definitely visit again. The meatballs are second to none and the ricotta cheese and bread were a delightful touch. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant.
