   We enjoyed a very good meal of sharing plates. One of us is celiac, and almost every dish on the menu was either gluten-free or could be adapted to gf. The service was also very good. A popular restaurant even for those with no gluten issues. I strongly recommend it!

   The food is always very good and the service is pleasant. The plates are meant for sharing. The menu is always different with great attention to details. It is a bit pricey and you don't go to a Centrum restaurant for the view, but the ambience inside is nice enough. Let the server know if you're in a rush for lunch so that they can advise you on what not to order.

   My husband and I love Aperitivo. I have a lot of food issues and it is one of the few places that truly take care of me, while keeping the experience fun and enjoyable for him. We took our friends there this weekend and they were so surprised. More people need to try it! You will never know it is gluten-free, except one bread on the menu! We also love the energy as it is usually very busy so it a fun spot in the suburbs. The service has never disappointed, and not likely to as it is usually the owner or manager that is serving.

   This is our favourite restaurant in Kanata and I would say the quality of the food rivals any restaurant in Ottawa. The menu is creative and the food is excellent! The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Aperitivo has a lovely ambience. The servers are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the food, the wines and recommendations for pairings. There isn't a bad seat in the house. It the tables are full it is always fun to sit at the bar. We have been several times since discovering it, most recently this past Saturday.

   The attention to detail in all areas is excellent. Food is beautiful, the customer service and knowledge of the staff is most enjoyable, and little things (that maybe only a former chef/waitress/bartender would notice) like spot free cutlery, generous sized cloth napkins, and plates large enough to hold the portions are always appreciated. Of exceptional note - I have an food allergy - and it seemed all the servers and the chefs knew about it before too long (not in an embarrassing way - but in a good way). Love the Pear martini!!! Pigs cheeks and fish tacos were perfect.

   I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant for a perfect evening with friends or family. The food is fantastic, creative and will make you want to return. The care given by the staff is second to none. Love coming here.

   We LOVE Apertivo! It is our very favourite restaurant. We love it so much that when we have a date night we hardly ever go anywhere else. Everything we have ever ordered is delicious and the service is amazing.

   As always, the gluten free food is simply amazing, the service is top notch, the wine selection is excellent. It's our Go To place to eat a fine dining meal at much lower than fine dining prices! Believe us - we are bonafide foodies :-)

   A great spot for pre or after movie snack or larger meal. A small menu allows the chef to prepare freshly cooked food that does not take too long. An excellent list of wines by the glass adds to the experience. We loved sharing the small plates, especially the fish tacos and the ragu. The service is efficient and caring without being intrusive. If you want to linger, that's fine with them but if you need to make a movie start, that's no problem. The restaurant caters to gluten free diners discretely. As the room is quite small, it can fill up quickly so a reservation would be a good idea. A little more heat on cold days would be nice.

    It was an amazing evening that literally changed my life. I was able to have the amazing staff help me to propose to my now fiance and make it an unforgettable night that will be a highlight for the rest of my life. The food, service and ambiance was perfect as always. One of the best restaurants in the world, hands down.
