    Absolutely amazing food! 10/10 recommend sitting at the bar. You get first hand experience with the chef and bartenders. You get to see how everything is made and plated. The food was spectacular, and the atmosphere was perfect. Will definitely be going again!

    The food was very good, the ambience was pleasant, like a jazzy, café, and the staff were nice. But it took an ENORMOUS amount of time to get our food: over an hour to get our appetizers (minestrone soup, lukewarm), another 30 minutes to get salads, and at the 2.5 hour mark, we asked them to wrap up the entrées to go. Granted, it was a busy Mother's Day lunch time, but there were other tables that came in after us, received their food and left before us. We have never had to wait so long for food, ever. We were comped for some of our meal, but the whole experience left a sour taste.

    Fabulour first visit to Apericena--and it was for brunch on Mother's Day. We were beyond happy with our service from Anna and the tasty food. Save room for the carrot cake too!

    Made a reservation for a patio table but the shade umbrella was broken so they happily sat us inside. Charming decor and ambiance. Food was great. Everything is cooked to order so the meal was long and leisurely, which was perfect for a Saturday afternoon with friends. Service was attentive and good-humored. Will return!

    I had a sandwich and salad and enjoyed it very much. Would definitely eat there again. The salad dressing was lemon mustard and I enjoyed the lite tasting flavor. Great for a warm afternoon.

    Food was amazing! Atmosphere was great! Only complaint is it took a very long time for the food to come out. Main dishes I can understand, or at least they worth waiting for. Ordered tiramisu for dessert and it took at least 15 minutes to get it. Seems extensive to just cut a piece to serve.

    Now that I’ve been, I’m feeling EXTRA grateful that we were actually able to get a Friday night reservation at this relatively new neighborhood gem! We started with the shiitake stuffed mushrooms (exquisite!) followed by mouthwatering lasagna with a wonderful 2018 Gigondas! We also took a piece of carrot cake to go (completely unnecessary but oh so good!) Portions were generous. Definitely worth the wait. I cannot wait to go back! #freshasitgets #thankyouChef

    The patio had just reopened and it was a wonderful day to sit outside. The service is was excellent. And the food was delicious! We enjoyed our selections! Defintely a great spot for a relaxing lunch.

    Not as good this time around. Pasta dish was almost all cream sauce and brussel sprouts were flavorless. Manager did a great job serving us initially but then turned us over to a waitress who was average at best.

    The food is always excellent. We started with the whipped feta appetizer. It was delicious. In our party of four, each of us had a different entrée. The cioppino was superb. The vegetable lasagna was a very delicious meal, and a generous portion. The bit taken home was even better the next day! One person had the seasonal penne and was not crazy about it, but I think that was more him than the dish. The lamb bolognese was terrific. The fraiser cake for dessert was out of this world good. The wine selection is limited, but adequate. I do wish they had a liquor license, but The Royal is right down the street for a before or after dinner drink. The dining room is very small, and gets very, very noisy when full. The tent is offered as optional seating, something I am not at all in favor of.

    The seats outside were very uncomfortable and our table seemed to be the only one that had warped wood & was very uneven. There wasn’t any salt or pepper on the tables, which I felt my food needed. The quality of the food was definitely there. My tomato bisque wasn’t super hot. More like room temp. Excited to sit inside someday & give it another try. Hubs LOVED his clam chowder. Brussels were super tasty. Love that all food is sourced locally. Would have liked a salad option with dinner.
