   Had reservation for 7pm. Was seated right away, but told server was busy and wasn’t sure how long it would be. Given no water or drinks. Waited 15 minutes and decided to just leave.

   We had a wonderful evening at Antlers. The food was delicious; service impeccable. The music from the bar next door was somewhat of a distraction but understandable.

   Everything was fabulous! The staff was professional, friendly, and provided prompt service at the bar and in the dining area. Our food was cooked perfectly. Very flavorful. The ambiance of the steakhouse is intriguing, and we enjoyed looking at all of the detail in this historical building. We will be back soon. Thank you!!

   Expensive food that lacks quality.,service was okay, but when you’re opening line is, welcome, let me tell you what things we don’t hVe on the menu, you wonder what’s going on with the business. $65 ribeye (boneless), less than 1/2 inch think. Sauce served with steak tasted like grocery bought powdered gravy. Garnish on the plate was two deep friend onion rings, not classy at all. Grilled asparagus over seasoned, garlic potatoes too much garlic. The best thing of the night was the unique established dining room (historic). Don’t waste your money. If you’re going to spend like this for steak, go to High Steaks (Thunder Valley Casino) or Ruth’s Chris (Roseville).

   If your looking for steak. Go somewhere else. The one I had was not edible. When I said something the apologized but never offered to recook it I really try and support the owner because I believe in him. But it’s hard when the food is bad. My wife loved the scallops and best salad.

   I don't buy sioin steak to eat at home because it's a tougher piece of meat. My mistake ordering it here. The rest of the meal was good, fancy and not big quantities . Waiter was cautious and attentive.

   The food was all overpriced. Steak starting around $50. Salads in the $20 range. Salads are an add-on not included. I ordered a beet salad and chicken Parpadelle. I thought the beet salad would be something special but it was just a green salad with some cut up beets next to it. The chicken pasta dish was very good. I love this location but I will stick to eating in the downstairs restaurant. I’ve always had fillets there that were delicious and not so pricey.

   The food here is quite amazing, but it was pictures of the dining room that made us want to drive from Sacramento just to try.We started with the crab tater tots and they were out of this world. The burger here was one of the best I’ve had and that’s saying a lot. Beautiful atmosphere Amazing food 10/10 would recommend

    We had high hopes that the reopened restaurant would be amazing, unfortunately that wasn’t the case. We were seated right away and that’s where the promptness stopped. We ordered our drinks and dinner at the same time. Within 5 minutes we were brought rolls. 5 minutes later, we got our salad yet still no drinks. A glass of wine and Jack and Coke shouldn’t take 20 minutes to get, but it did. After another 5 minutes, the waiter came back to ask how we wanted our steaks cooked. This was no less than 25 minutes after we placed the order. 30 minutes later we were brought our steaks, along with a now cold baked potato, a few stocks of asparagus and 3 “complementary” onion rings. The steaks were marginal, they were tough, felt like they sat under a heat lamp for a while, and dry as the bone they were cut from. When I said the potatoes were cold, the cheese had solidified to a solid sheet that was able to be lifted off and set aside. Oh and let’s get back to the drinks for a moment, they were out of the wine, so they offered another option and said “oh but it’ll be $1 more”, um how about “sorry we are out of that wine, but we’ll give you this one for no extra charge”. It was also clear they hadn’t used the soda dispenser in a while as the soda was flat and hot. After choking down a few bites of the steaks, we opted to move on to their dessert, a cheesecake with fresh raspberries and a blackberry. This was probably the best part of the meal, which only set us up for the bill. $154 for what was half as good as what you could get for $50 at other steak houses. As the waiter was great, we gave him a decent tip and walked out at $185 to never return.
