Amazing from start to finish: impeccable service, delicious food (especially the pastas and starters), beautiful decor and ambience plus a knowledgeable and friendly Wine Director. Don’t let the strip mall location deceive you. This is one of the best dining experiences in LA!

The food is really good. After recent disappointing dining experiences at two other “ hot “ new Italian restaurants ( Etta, Mother Wolf ) it was nice to eat really well prepared artisanal Italian food. Worth the drive.

A really excellent restaurant experience with excellent food and a great staff. The menu has some unique offerings that taste spectacular. The ambiance is warm and inviting. And save room for the ice cream! It’s unbelievable. If you’re tired of the same old Italian food, this is your place.

This was our first visit to Antico, let me say the food cost ratio was not up to the standards of Alimento, Bestia or Da Pasquale. Yes, their offerings were more bold than some of our other favorites but the end result must be better than our experience of the few dishes we had for the cost. We will return to try additional dishes but not a recommendation at this point. Also, the cost of corkage of $50 a bottle is way out of line with competitors.

The food and service are excellent here. Prices are high but the quality is superior and the amount of food is almost excessive. The restaurant space is a bit claustrophobic in that there are no windows and that leads it feel almost basementish to me. I will nevertheless be back.

Great food and location, but the price point is extremely high for the neighborhood and being in a strip mall, they should move to a better location or have more reasonable prices so that it would be busier and have more energy in the restaurant. It’s hard to charge Beverly Hills prices when you’re in Koreatown. Overall the atmosphere is really nice and the food was great, I just wish it was in a better location

Romantic yet unpretentious, Antico Nuovo was the perfect finale to my holiday in Los Angeles. Their sommelier chose a perfect compliment to our assortment of (incredible!) pasta dishes, and the chicken entree was to die for. Word to the wise, do not skip dessert - Antico’s focaccia ice cream will blow your mind.

I get excited about restaurants tucked in obscure places like small strip malls. And this one did not disappoint. The outside parking lot may be suspect for the delectable inside and staying true to a northern italian them. Sparsely decorated olive trees as holiday trees. Great service - exceptional actually. Never a half empty water glass! Ever! experienced staff / chef came out to thank us / open kitchen / San Francisco feel. Pistachio crunch ice cream was recommended and did not under promise. The Special that evening was good. If I could find a complaint it would be that the vegetable and Amber jack were not as savory because Of the fresh lemon in both dishes. But that is not at fault to anyone. It’s the type of dish. Exceptional attention and service. Focaccia yes Amber jack soecial Broccoli and cauliflower type veggie And they do most of their own pastas and it tastes like you.

Overall an outstanding meal. Simple and confident ingredient pairings and execution across the menu. Enjoyed above all else the pastas (agnolotti, papardelle etc) that align with my dining experiences in Italy, and succeed above and beyond the flashy accoutrement employed by culinarily-adjacent restaurants in other parts of the city. Attentive service and excellent wine pairings. Looking forward to my next meal by team Antico :)

While I never dined at its predecessor “Antico”, I can’t imagine that it could have been better than Chef Chad Colby’s post-pandemic “Antico Nuovo” For anybody who loves Italian fare and wine, this restaurant is simply heaven. Upon entering the restaurant, I felt right at home - comforted by the ambiance and lighting. The kitchen overlooking the dining room creates an intimate space between cooks and diners. Not only was the space beautiful, but the service was excellent and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I feel like I had left LA! More frequently, it seems we are paying higher prices for an instagrammable atmosphere and mediocre food, with mediocre service. This is simply not the case at Antico Nuovo. Tonight, we started with the focaccia with whipped ricotta and hazelnut pesto… this will put any bread to shame. Then we had the squash caprese with burrata - surprisingly vibrant and bright. But a welcomed surprise. For our main we just order multiple pasta dishes. All the pasta was phenomenal. We finished with espresso - focaccia ice cream, pistachio ice cream, and Antico chionto (aperitif). This ice cream is the best I’ve ever had. Thank you for an amazing dining experience, with such care and attentiveness to our table! I cannot wait to come back here.

Pasta was Amazing but bland and in need of salt. I mentioned to the mgr and I was told that the pasta water is salted heavily which is why they add the pecorino cheese a the table. Once I asked for salt I was told without asking to not use too much because it is Maldon Sea Salt. Now personally I do not like to “educate” the guest as an industry professional because it opens you up to offending someone which I was. Now why would all that matter well it’s because if you’re guest first you should just fix the problem and alert the kitchen. Set realistic expectations. Final note my wine was taken before I was finished. So with a $50 corkage fee why would someone take the last sip of my 2012 $150 bottle of Amarone ? Server was great, server team awesome , beautiful spot. Just a little less judgement and it would’ve been perfect

The food is sensational. I appreciate that the menu is one brief page because that means that each items is a true winner. Based on what I ate, that is certainly true. The room is lovely, too. Great lighting and tables far enough apart that your fellow diners don't know your intimate secrets. A lot of the team are Osteria Mozza alum, and that pedigree is as good as it gets. Rachel, the sommelier, is magnificent. Atonis, the server, is a god send.

The food was unique and delicious. We chose to order several pasta dishes to share and no one was disappointed. One entree which was a sweet potato and ancho chili dish was fabulous. One diner really wantEd chicken which I don’t usually order at a fine dining restaurant but it was a highlight of that course. The chicken was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The sauce and the bread under the meat elevated this dish to Avery flavorful experience. The ice cream was delicious and shared by all as a wonderful end to the meal.

The food s outstanding and the service was excellent. They miss the mark, however, on their wine list. If you drink red there’s hundred of choices, but very little for less than $150. I don’t recall more than 10 choices under $100 from a list of well over 100 wines. It’s worth the $50 corkage to bring your own.

Food was well prepared but the menu is limited and overpriced particularly for the location (in Ktown). There is an off-putting pretentiousness, as reflected in their corkage fee of $50/bottle, which Is ridiculous given their limited by-the-glass offerings.
