What a wonderful evening. My wife and I had an amazing meal, the Sea Bass was over the top, her filet was cooked to perfection and the calamari, side dishes and dessert was fantastic. We will be back. Both Kahn and Blake anticipated our every need and made our evening that much more special.
Excellent food only outdone by the friendly and outstanding service.
Khan was our waiter and he made our dining experience amazing. Bread and drinks came quickly, order taken and the courses were brought out perfectly timed. We had such an amazing experience here and the food was oh so delicious. We cannot wait to go back!
Just the perfect overall experience! My family had a great Celebration!
Khan is fantastic! When he moved from Western Village we were worried wouldn't find him, but we did!
Food was good, not exceptional. Service was better than good but not outstanding. This is the second time dining at Anthony’s Chophouse in the last two years. Will most likely try another steakhouse in the area next time
Food was delicious. Oscar was a terrific, conciencous waiter. Loved the sauces for the steak. Would go back!
I ate at Anthony’s Chophouse last night and it was so exceptional that I suggested we have our business dinner there tonight! I love the blend of creativity and tradition in their dishes. It’s all about the beef, steaks are perfectly trimmed and prepared. Sides are delectable, in particular the potatoes au gratin and the sautéed mushrooms. Bread is actually a religious experience. I’m from Vegas and I enjoy eating out, here I have to say that Anthony’s Chophouse in the Sparks Nugget beats our major LV Strip steakhouses in quality and value.
Great service! Food was good. Our table location was closer to the entrance and the bar, so at times I could smell cigarette smoke. No real dress code being that it is a casino restaurant.
I Thought the hostesses should have been more attentive to the guest. While waiting they could have offered a menu or made eye contact. Our waitress was great and so was her assistant. The food was excellent I head the rib eye which melted in my mouth.
What a delightful way to celebrate our first evening out since the pandemic hit. We were treated with such personal and special care by Sean and Art and Jonathan. Our table for two was lovely, quiet and private. We shared a delicious Caesar salad. My special, a filet topped with crab, asparagus and Hollandaise sauce was mouthwatering. Jim had the lamb and there was not a bite left on the bones or his plate! Thank you for making our evening so special. Jim and Jessamy
Really enjoy this place. Reno needs more classy places like this. You get to dress up a bit and have an amazing dinner with great service and ambience.
It was very enjoyable, food was amazing and waitress and servers were friendly and helpful. A little dim but atmosphere was enjoyable.
Excellent food and excellent service, Jose and Oscar we’re the best, they were on top of their game
2nd time eating here, it was as good as the first time.
The food was good but not worth the price. The restaurant was very basic with no ambience.
We had a wonderful dinner. The filet was cooked perfectly, the sides where wonderful and the service was second to none! I only wish the entire hotel was kept to these high standards!!
The Chophouse has now replaced Western Village Steakhouse has the best in Sparks. All factors were excellent with our server “Khan” rating an outstanding.
Just purely amazing. Art the general manager and Oscar head waiter are now family friends. It was THE best steak house I have ever been too and wow the unprecedented awesome treatment we received was purely amazing. Customers for life now!!!
We arrived @ 7:45pm, 30 min before our reservation, and we were seated almost immediately. The busier came to offer water and menu's within minutes. We did have to wait for our server for a little while, but it was busy, so no biggie.
We ordered drinks and appetizers (The Scallops were AH-MAZ-ING). The server didn't take our dinner order until after our appetizers were finished. Once we ordered, it took quite a while to get the food, the server apologized that the kitchen got backed up, however the restaurant was 1/2 empty at this point. and we also had to chaise down the server to get another round of drinks.
The food was finally delivered and it did NOT disappoint. Meat was cooked perfectly (Medium Rare) and the sides were scrumptious.
All in all, we had a great time, although I might want a more attentive server next time...
Waiter khan was fantastic and the food was wonderful would recommend to everyone looking for a wonderful meal
We both thoroughly enjoyed the evening spent at Anthony's. The scallop appetizer was perfect. Both scallops were perfectly seared and luscious. We ordered the prime filet and the prime rib eye. Once again, perfectly cooked.
The service was slightly slow but other than than, attentive and cheerful. I think once they get back into the swing of things, this will clear up.
My only complaint about the food was the au gratin potato. My dining companion loved them but I felt they were too salty and the cheese was a bit grainy.
We finished the meal with a silky creme brulee.
Well worth every penny.
Great food and great service. Happy we chose Anthony's to celebrate my husbands birthday.
Food was excellent, service of removing plates & refilling drinks promptly was great & our server Khan was awesome! It took a little long to get our dinner, but they were fairly busy & they were attentive to us during the wait. Highly recommend Anthony's!
We have never had a bad meal. All the food is delicious. Great service!
The food tasted great but other then that it wasn’t your normal steakhouse experience. Our drinks from the bar took awhile to get. I found hair in one of my side dishes. They ended up giving us a free dessert but a manager never came over to check in (which I would expect one to come check in at a place like this when there is an issue). Went to the restroom when I first got there and let the hostess know that one of the stalls didn’t have toilet paper or seat covers. Towards the end of our meal my daughter needed to go to the restroom and the same stall still did not have toilet paper or seat covers. All in all the food was great just not the experience you would expect from a nice steakhouse.
The food was decent but it took a pretty long time to get it. Showed up 10 minutes early to my reservation. A couple who showed up after me got seated right after me and was friends with an employee so they had their order taken first. I even heard the employee tell the waiter to help me after them and so I waited over 10 minutes before having my order taken.
Food was great along with the service. Very quiet and romantic atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone who stays at nugget casino in Reno!
When we made our reservation, we asked for Booth 22 (curtained and very private) and champagne. There waiting for us was Veuve Cliquot Brut Champagne, chilled, even the glasses were chilled. Operations Manager Art greeted us like we were family. Server Sheila was wonderful. We ordered the special an 8 oz filet served with 5 oz African lobster tail stuffed with crab. Fabulous. We enjoyed every morsel. We'll be back.
Good food and affordable drink at OK price..and born and raised in a remote jungle in Africa and traveling across the United States, my server was able to understand my SESAME STREET English . that is a big plus for me ( Translated from Afrikaans)
The menu is comprehensive but not overwhelming. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The atmosphere is conducive to both a date night or group outing. They also have private dining rooms for a quieter and/or more intimate setting.
The food is very good in both quality of product and taste. My wife and I started with the calamari and the scallops. The calamari was good, not great. The scallops were exceptional; the flavor and presentation were superb. For entrée I had the 18oz Angus Ribeye and my wife had the 8oz Prime Cut Filet Mignon. Both entrees included a wonderful mixed greens dinner salad. I ordered my steak medium rare and my wife ordered hers medium; both were cooked to perfectly. The steaks were tender and flavorful. My wife's Prime Cut melted in her mouth like butter. For sides we ordered the roasted brussel sprouts and creamed spinach. The brussels were quite good and the creamed spinach was absolutely divine. Seriously, I will return just to have the spinach again. We finished our meal with a slice of chocolate cake that was decadent and delicious. It was also ridiculously large and could have easily fed 4 or more.
The wine and cocktail selection is extensive and reasonably priced as well.
The service was excellent and as good as you can expect from any fine dining establishment. This restaurant will be in our regular rotation.
From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were made to feel welcome and valued. When we made the reservation, we asked for Solane Santi Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore, a wonderful Chianti. There it was, waiting for us and being aerated in our favorite curtained Booth 22. Server Tony took our order and was most attentive throughout. I ordered the 8-oz Filet Mignon, cooked rare (blue is how I like it), along with green beans with almonds, and, of course, their delicious house salad with vinaigrette. My husband wanted Seafood Risotto served over angel hair pasta and his salad with ranch. Anthony's Chophouse is just fabulous.
Service staff was excellent.
Would return for repeat dining.
Excellent food and fantastic waiters. I would recommend this restaurant to all. Great atmosphere and great food.
Oscar was our server, he is incredible. Very helpful, aware of the table and the needs of all of us. He is excellent. We missed Art but knew that Oscar would take care of us. We will be back. Excellent food, incredible restaurant and the service is outstanding. Another FIVE STAR for Anthony's Chophouse, food and staff are amazing! I was glad to be back and see the steak house back in action.
We love having dinner at the Chophouse. It was a joint birthday celebration and we wanted to try new items on the menu, but we LOVED what we ordered last time. So we did a repeat and we weren’t disappointed. We had the Lamb Lollipops for appetizer. They are so delish. My husband had the New York and I ordered the seafood risotto. Love it
Very romantic evening. The booths with the curtains are very cool :).
Food and service was fantastic. One of the best filet's we've had in a very long time. Oscar was our server and was excellent. We'll be back very soon.
From the moment of check in to the appetizers, dinner entree, wine & desert it was one of the best elegant meals I’ve had in LONG time. It is pricy yet worth it when you taste.
Great atmosphere and food, fabulous service even better than expected for high end dining. Obviously not a family style restaurant but people did bring babies. Luckily the seating is quite spacious and it was toward the end of our meal. Looking forward to going again.
