   We're glad you were able to fit us in on short notice for Mother’s Day! While bar seating has quite a different ambiance from indoor or outdoor seating, the service and food were as always, fantastic!

   We had a party of six for Mother’s Day. Since arriving early, we chose to wait in bar as there was plenty of bar top seating available. Waited over 15 minutes at the empty bar top to order beverages as there were plenty of staff but no bar tender. One of the drinks seemed to have been forgotten as it took nearly 30 minutes to be brought out after being told it would be brought to our seated table. I had to inquire with another staff member walking by as our waitress had not even arrived after being seated. As mentioned, when the rest of our party arrived a couple minutes shy of 11:30 a.m., it took quite some time before our waitress was able to take their initial drink ordered and at least another 25 minutes to get that order brought out. Yet the waitress wanted to rush our brunch requests within 3 minutes of taking our initial drink orders. The restaurant seemed severely underprepared for the amount of people they had reservations for.  It seemed like since it was Mother’s Day, it was a guaranteed sale so the bar, cook and wait staff didn’t have to try hard at all. All the eggs from our various brunch items were overcooked. The portions were small and yet we noticed several other tables had lots of food left uneaten by patrons. The manager who is walking around to a couple tables to ask how things were going did not stop at our table once although clearly noticing our frustration. We did not leave our table until close to 1:30 p.m. because of the delayed service. Unfortunately, we’ve never had great success eating at the Anthony‘s in Boise in comparison to their locations in the Washington area.  And also a reason why we probably won’t be returning again anytime soon. The problems that incurred in our previous visits we thought were due to just new starter anxiety but overall it seems poorly mismanaged.

   We were a large group for a Boise State graduation party so the staff, service speed and managing of our group was great. However, seems like one of the orders that came out was switched out and we were disappointed that they wouldn't have just told us that instead of delivering the plated meal without any discussion about the kitchen making a substitution. Order was for Halibut, instead was delivered Cod or Walleye.

   Fantastic Service! Manager Alex and our service team took great care of us and the food was spectacular. Everything made our graduate feel very special. We are from out of town and so unable to host a party at a house. Anthony’s made our dinner party feel homey.

   Always a consistently good experience at Anthony's from the food, to the service right down to the easy access parking in the lower-level garage. Huckleberry Creme Brulee was fabulous too!

   We had a beautiful time at Anthony’s. Our server, Hunter, took excellent care of us and the food was delicious. We will be coming back again.

   We decided to dine at Anthony's after reading about their April Halibut Special menu. What a marvelous surprise! My husband and I both thought our meals were delicious and we were highly impressed with both the quality and quantity of the food. Our server and busboy were very attentive, friendly, and accommodating as my husband is gluten free and they happily double checked with the kitchen to make sure the dishes he ordered were safe for him to eat. The ambiance could not have been nicer. Even though the restaurant was full, our booth felt very quiet and private. The parking was easy in their attached parking structure, and they validate. We will happily return and we are eager to try some of their other dishes.

   I'm always pleased with my dining experience at Anthony's. On this visit, I took my nephew for his birthday. We both took advantage of the halibut special. The meal was excellent, from the oysters to start, soup and salad, and a perfectly cooked halibut dinner. Dom did an excellent job taking care of us. All in all it was a wonderful evening.
