Anthony's - Bell Street Diner Seattle
Everything was great , meet the Manager, he was very nice, had a question about the price
It was Restaurant Week and there was a Lobster Special so it was hard to decide what to order! I ended up getting the 3 course Restaurant Week option, and it was fantastic! The calamari appetizer was melt in your mouth good. The fresh steelhead entree came with rice and broccoli, and all of it was seasoned perfectly. And then the blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream was the perfect end to the meal! Now I need to go back for the lobster!
Good selection of meal items, wonderful service, and excellent location!
Will definitely eat here again when in Seattle.
Last minute reservation was accommodated since it was early and a cold rainy night in Seattle. Great choice. Very good food and attentive waiter. COVID has really hit dtown Seattle so we were happy to support this fine restaurant. Would be a perfect venue for a sunset cocktail and meal.
I had the Halibut and my Fiance had the Salmon, OUTSTANDING!
Clam chowder was delicious! It was the best I had in Seattle!
A bit pricey but you're sitting at one of the best waterfront view restaurants in Seattle.
Very walking area and good (paid) parking options abound. Food is better than average and the vegetables were surprisingly fresh tasting.
Always great food & service.
Physical distancing was observed and service staff wore their masks appropriately. Our waiter was attentive and polite. The cocktail menu is interesting. The wine list is extensive and not outrageously expensive. Our Caesar salad was excellent; the two entrees were delicious (grilled shrimp / halibut) and we were able to request minor changes (French fries instead of rice / halibut grilled instead of Cajun spiced). We completed our meal with a Mountain Blackberry Cobbler, which was delightful. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!
Overpriced and all the food was overcooked. Would probably not return. Service was solid. Going to Seattle you’d want to try the seafood, but not when it’s overcooked. We tried the blackened fish which was $40 for a small sliver and super dry. Over priced and not worth it. The clam chowder was the best option.
Dinner outside at sunset was a beautiful ending to a wonderful dinner. The Fettucini with Salmon and the Peach Slush for dessert was perfect!!
It was a nice day in Seattle and we were able to eat outside. Food was delicious and service was very good.
We had a wonderful time with Kaila and the whole experience was great!
Our Fish and Chips were good. There was nobody eating inside when we went, everyone was out side. We sat inside which was fine but our server didn't really seem to care about taking care of us. We are in the service industry ourselves and so I may be a little more critical the the average patron, but I think it is really important for that server to at least pretend as though they are interested in taking care of you. I had Ice Tea and it tasted rancid to me so I told our server and she seemed a little put out that I didn't like it. I was not looking for her to take it off the bill, but she did not charge me for it.
Our Service was delightful, a young lady.. I don't remember her name.
The food was delicious!! THank you.
Excellent COVID care!!!
Comfortable space to dine outside and watch sunset by yourself, with friends or family. Very conscious to spacing and cleanliness during the current situation.
We love this restaurant and appreciated the ability to reserve an outside table. The food was good but there was a very limited menu compared the usual. Understand problems related to the pandemic but would have appreciated a couple more offerings for under $30. The service was excellent!
Beautiful location. Great food. Be sure to have a peach drink or the peach dessert while they are in season.
The restaurant is couple friendly with great Mt. Rainier view.
The only complaint was the restrictions because of the pandemic. There was no valet or handicapped parking so my invalided husband needed to walk quite far.
We were disappointed with the lobster tail dinner. The lobster was not quite cooked through, and was chewy. The mashed potatoes were seasoned so much you couldn't taste the potatoes. The green beans were too al dente, and swimming in butter. Luckily the outdoor view and great service from Kaila made it a good experience, but we won't be rushing back for another lobster dinner, even at $20.
food was delicious, and service was outstanding
We ate outside - great mountain and sunset view, tables well spaced, warm weather.
Been having great specials lately and the current peach cocktail list is great
The chowder was fantastic! The steak was cooked just the way I asked for it, the lobster was a little chewy, but overall dinner was great!
Great spot to watch Elliott bay, lovely environment, great service. The food was OK not wonderful, shrimp were dry and clearly cooked before hand and warmed up, not the greatest. Still, special and good place for out of town guests....
Excellent food and service. Just what you would expect from Anthony's
We celebrated a Birthday Dinner and the entire evening and food was fantastic! Thank you!
Lovely evening and the lobster tail was cooked to perfection
Beautiful night. Sat outside with sunset and view of Mt Rsinier. Tables appropriately distanced. Lobster special was great. Highly recommend
Food at Anthony’s is always very good if not haute cuisine but isn’t priced like that either! Service was great and it’s always a joy to be on the waterfront. (We miss miss miss our Shilshole location!)
We were celebrating a a friends birthday- I had noted in the Open table reservation to bring a candle on the dessert- the waiter was not notified of my request on Opentable.
Arrived and our table was ready as promised, service was excellent and the food as always, very good.
Service was great, sat on the pier watching the ships and ferries. Table distance was great.
We had the special which was tempura battered shrimp - all you could eat with a tangy coleslaw and french fries. The shrimp were large and the batter was excellent and they kept coming until we were full.
Bell Street Diner is one of our neighborhood restaurants. We love it! They have a fabulous patio right on Elliott Bay with amazing views of the Seattle waterfront, Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains.
We are treated extremely well at the restaurant by everyone who works there. We usually sit at the counter and talk to the chefs while we eat. During Covid-19 we have been sitting on the patio. A little hot on this visit but great just the same.
All of the food is excellent. The focus is on seafood but they offer a variety of entrees, salads, chowder and desserts. Try Bell Street Diner out!
This was a wonderful experience, much needed right now! We sat outside where the temperature was perfect, and lovely view. Our server couldn't have been better! What drew us in was the all you can eat prawns, which were so delicious, light batter and so tasty I didn't use any sauces. With hand cut fries and good coleslaw, it was a yummy meal. We didn't overeat, and are considering returning for another great experience!
Was so happy to be back at Bell St Diner and Anthony’s. Rely on these places for my go to restaurant for any reason.
Gorgeous view of Mt Rainier from the outside tables
Our server was amazing. She didn't hover but brought us what we needed, when we needed it. It was almost like she was reading our minds.
Ans the prawns were fantastic! The best part may have been the coleslaw. It was the best coleslaw I've ever had!
