   Wow! Fantastic food and service. Went for our anniversary and they treated us well. Booked a bar seating but was able to move us to a front table for the meal. Ordered the tasting menu with both wine parings. A special treat.

   From beginning to end, this was a fantastic experience. The person who greeted us at the door was engaging and friendly. Our server, Ramon, was amazing--he's also a sommelier, and made great suggestions for wine pairings. We ordered a la carte and everything we ordered was top notch: excellent ingredients, excellent technique, and creatively conceived and presented. Yet there was nothing pretentious about the place. Highly recommended.

   Fantastic dining experience! Highly recommend- Our server knew his wines and the various food offerings very well and was a pleasure to chat with! All of our items were incredibly flavourful and very creative- well done, Chef! We, however, did not opt for the Tasting Menu as we had initially planned, since all of the Chef’s Tasting items were freely available on the menu. Instead we ordered a la carte and picked exactly what we felt like. We have done many Tasting menus before and one of our draws to them is the intrigue of trying a few (or all) items that are not on the standard a la carte menu so we hope to see that potentially in the future on another visit!

   Best meal and service I have had in my Life. Incredible wine pairings with the tasting menu. Friendly and knowledgeable staff: Easily accommodated gluten free for celiacs. Recommend 100% as a memorable meal for a special occasion.

   We ordered the tasting menu which was a wonderful tour of the restaurants “greatest hits.” Everything was delicious, interesting, multilayered, beautifully presented. The non alcoholic cocktails (especially the one with lapsing Souchong tea and marshmallow) were some of the best, mix complex. And interesting non alcoholic cocktails I have had anywhere. Service was impeccable. We would gladly go back again and would recommend it to others.

   Wonderful Food - even better than my two visits during 2022 & 2023. This is definitely a highlight on my Banff trip. Will for sure come back again.

   The food is absolutely magical at Ankor. Enjoyed the chef’s tasting menu along with the nonalcoholic pairings. Service was top notch and Paisley was a doll as always.

   Wonderful dinner that is well executed with fine service, helpful knowledgable staff that do not miss a beat. There are almost as many employees running the restaurant as there are guests while fully seated. The food is uniquely creative, thoughtful and bursting with flavours. The overall ambience is upbeat, snd cool while maintaining authenticity. It is a pricy meal and yes the portions are a bit small but make no mistake about, this is a very worth while experience for a much better than most places fancy meal. Order an extra dish and be at peace with the cost if food quantity is a concern. We will return.

    If you are anywhere near Canmore or Banff I highly recommend ankor. The combination of flavours and textures are outstanding. This is the type of dining experience where I would expect at a 1 Michelin star restaurant (and ambitious enough to try to move up to 2) Atmosphere is tasteful and earthy; service is attentive without pretension.
