   Food was so delicious, but our meal took forever. And they weren’t transparent about the extreme delay. They made up for it on the bill and the server was very apologetic. Food really was yummy and they accommodated our allergies so I would return.

   Food was really good but service was definitely not on par with the rest of the Ritz Bacara property. It took a very long time for food to come out and various tables (not us) complained to our waitress. When it did come out the food was delicious. Those Parker rolls!!

   High class clip joint. $15 parking, short pour of wine, sides are extra, even bread is extra. Service was just average - had to ask for refill of water.

    The people we dealt with at the restaurant were all quite pleasant, and we enjoyed the food that we ordered. Unfortunately, our waiter was almost nonexistent. This waiter (male) would disappear for unacceptable, prolonged periods of time. We were highly disappointed by the service at your establishment. I cannot remember a time when service was as nonexistent as it was at Angel Oak on Saturday, March 4. At the finality of our meal, we waited to obtain our bill. Having waited for quite some time, my wife got up to speak to the hostess. I do not believe this is what the Ritz Carlton wants to present to the public. Being involved in the winery/hospitality industry, I will suggest to clients that dining here after WOPN is an idea, but service (from my experience) is awful, 1 star. Garrett Park

    Excellent all over. Delicious food great service it was a special night for us and the staff made it extra special with their attentiveness and service. The food was amazing. The roasted potatoes are a must.

    What a wonderful place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, the sunset View spectacular but the staff is what made the evening so special. From the special roses on the table, handwritten congratulations, and attentive service, including our waiter Joe; Sommelier, Adam ; and the manager, Felicia. They helped make it a wonderful, intimate celebration !!!!

    We could only get an early reservation which ended up being perfect for an ocean view of the sunset. The Parker rolls were excellent as was the Caesar salad, octopus and wild salmon. Wonderful service. A little expensive for every day dining but a very good meal and ambience.

    We had a fabulous experience celebrating my wife’s birthday at Angel Oak. Arriving at 5pm we were greeted by a lovely young lady named Oceana who welcomed us and led us to our table on the outdoor patio with a wonderful view of the sun setting on the ocean. Rafael, our server, was pleasant and helpful with suggestions on cocktails. I had the Isla Paradiso and my wife enjoyed the Garden by the Sea Spritz. For a starter we shared the exquisite BBQ Spanish Octopus which my wife felt was the most perfectly cooked 5 Star dish she has ever had. For entrees my wife ordered the Sea Scallops accompanied with Grilled Mushrooms. I ordered the 8oz Prime Filet and added Truffle Fries. As we shared with each other bites from each plate we commented how delicious everything was. The Daou Reserve Cab paired with the Filet was just pure heaven. Baked Alaska for dessert was the delicious ending to a fabulous meal and experience. What a great evening!

    Every one of our meals was a 10/10. We all agreed we would have even ordered what we each of us ordered. The steak just melted in our mouth, even the sides were magic. We consider ourselves quite the “foodies” and steak snobs so it was nice all 4 of us had the same experience. We enjoyed our waitress , hostess and sommelier.

    Many many thanks to the staff for our amazing visit. Both Donnie and Amanda were excellent with our group. We enjoyed the supremely excellent service, and being spoiled a little bit at one of the best places in Santa Barbara!

    My daughter and I went here for Christmas dinner. The restaurant was bathed in soft candlelight, just how I like it. We chose to eat outdoors and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We should have made our reservation at 5:00 instead of 5:30 so we could have enjoyed the sunset longer. There were heaters, thankfully, because it was a chilly night. The indoor area was beautiful too. I seem to remember lots of wood. Just an overall beautiful ambiance. Our server came by a little too often and lingered a little too long, but that’s okay, I would rather have them come by too often than too little. I had the flank steak and she had the chicken. We both very much enjoyed our meals. My steak was cooked perfectly. Of course, the whole vibe of The Bacara is Spanish style elegance, and it carries over into their restaurants. I highly recommend Angel Oak for your next trip to the Santa Barbara area.

    The service and ambience was wonderful. We had the steak tartare and lobster tagliatelle, both excellent! For desert, the baked Alaska. Would definitely recommend and will go back!

    But we expected at all. We ordered a cocktail each and some appetizers. About 30 min later the apps came out THEN the cocktails. My husbands Signature Drink had about one inch of alcohol in it. Meanwhile a table near us ordered it and had 3 inches of alcohol in there same glass. The guy I’d say the restaurant was about 30% full that night. Short ribs were uneatable. My husband’s steak was about 2 on a scale of one to ten regarding flavor. My pasta was awful ally really good. My son liked his steak. My daughter thought her email was ok. I think it was chicken but not 100% sure. We ordered more truffle fries to go with our dinner (they were SO good) but we were brought creamed kale instead. The server didn’t acknowledge his mistake. He just said he really wanted us to try it so he brought it and it would be it he house. Our fries came out 20 min later so obviously he had to put them in because he forgot. The meal cost around $580 and the front desk at check out did take off $200 when my husband was asked how was our stay and he said awesome except our experience at Angel Oak.
