   The food was really tasty! The ambience is lovely (we just happened to sit next to a very noisy guy). The only thing I would rather would be different tablecloths (eg cotton or linen instead of the paper ones). Very good service too

   Not at all friendly service, the one you expect from a disgruntled civil servant unhappy with their job, life, etc. and resenting anyone else that doesn't have to do what they do.

   Disappointed. First time I've been there and whilst I accept that it was busy, the service was a bit slow, not particularly friendly (we were asked to make a decision quickly as it was about to get busy) and the main course I chose (the pasta dish) was not very appetising. Did have a delicious dessert though (the panna cotta) Found it rather expensive, so sadly won't be visiting again

   as always, andrew edmunds provides the perfect evening. delicious food, excellent wine (with useful suggestions on pairing), and the perfect light touch, but friendly and attentive service. never fails in providing an evening that makes you feel better about life when you leave

   Great dinner food was delicious could have been more pork on the main to account for the fat... but great place non the less.
