Established in 1985, Andrew Edmunds is considered one of the last bastions of 'old Soho'. This 18th century town house has, for more than thirty years, attracted many loyal customers. A relaxed atmosphere, seasonal menu and famous but reasonably priced wine list have ensured our enduring popularity.

                                            The perfect night out for our anniversary. So cosy and romantic. Classy with great food and drink but a nice relaxed feel. Exactly what I expected from my research. Great service too. Thank you to all for a night we will remember fondly.

                                            Rigatoni with sun-dried tomatoes good, not great. Very noisy; had to shout at times over two loud groups despite sitting at corner table. This was our second visit. Pleasant enough.

                                            We were seated downstairs table for two next to a very rowdy table of 8 which was a shame as very hard to hear ourselves and relax. Food was good mussells excellent

                                            Lovely restaurant- had a lot of character and service and food were excellent. It was a birthday celebration for a friend and they quietly brought her desert with a candle without my asking. Service was discrete and excellent- also appreciated that I was actually able to talk to people despite it being quite small, with quite a lot of tables. Old school in best way. Very enjoyable and would go again.

                                            The reviews describe this place as having good food, good ambiance, and good service. I disagree. The food is bad. I ordered the dover sole, and it was literally submerged in butter. Gross. The sides were plain and unremarkable. The ambiance, far from being "old school" or "charming", is unremarkable and just feels run-down, like a bad pub. This is not a good date spot, even setting aside the bad food. The service, however, is the worst part. I'll start by noting that the restaurant canceled my Opentable booking immediately after we finished dining there, because they could tell I was displeased and did not want me to write a review. They also were unapologetic about the negative experience we had. We left after 45 minutes with most of our food uneaten, and the restaurant couldn't have cared less. Don't go here if you like your restaurants to care about your feedback. It is a struggle to put my finger on a single reason to dine here.

                                            Superb food, bistro style menu. Unusual food options very interesting (Ox Tongue, for instance), and very delicious. As were the more conventional offerings, lamb chops especially lovely! Service perfectly judged, friendly and informal whilst also making us feel like it was a special occasion. All in all, whilst not cheap, it is one of those places you don't remotely question whether the expense is worth it - it is!!! Thank you for a lovely evening.

                                            We had a wonderful meal on Friday night. I was there with my 2 teenage children. Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and wine. Service was on point. One of the last restaurants in London serving great food that isn’t a chain, fast food or extremely expensive! Keep up the good work!
