Amoul cooks very special dishes that are infused with memories whilst growing up in Marjeyoune, in the South of Lebanon. Many of her recipes have been handed down through generations, given to her by her parents, who were both excellent cooks, and her style of cooking is simple, uncomplicated and elegant. Her menu changes daily, depending on what she feels like cooking and often you will find a couple of European dishes that have been given to her by friends she has made in many countries she has lived in. Amoul's is a warm environment, a home away from home.

    Unforunately the restaurant was closed when I got there. I received no e-mail or notification for this fact and we had to find another restaurant at short notice. Judging by the new name "permanently closed" maybe this is the end of the restaurant? A pity given the good reviews.

    Unique intimate informal restaurant with truly exceptional home cooking. Best Lebanese food I have experienced in London.

    Amoul's is a special place that oozes genuine character and charm, with beautiful food. And it's imitate and cosy as well, with great service. And very obliging - a locely spot.

    Wonderful and friendly with excellent food and wine choices. Above all the staff make this such a special location and the food is GREAT!

    Except to wait for the main meal to be ready. The owner is cooking every meal herself, as soon as order comes through.

    This place is amazingly authentic. The food is excellent and so is the service. If you are in the neighbourhood looking for a meal it is a no miss. I reckon it is good place to bring your date as the ambience is defo there.
