An unexpectedly busy night for a short staff made service somewhat of an issue. Aside from that, we throughly enjoyed the food and company. Food is some of the best Italian to be found in the area.

A very good place to dine. The pizza is excellent. As good as any we have found in austin. The family recipes are also very excellent. Very enjoyable.

We absolutely love this place. Not only is the food superb, but the owners work hard and are a joy to be around. Run, don't walk to dine here. A hidden gem!

Excellent as always!!!! Tried their burrata with honey and peach dressing with pistachios for an appetizer. Oh my. Sooooo good! The wife (owner - Elpida) made the dressing. The whole meal was great. We’ll be back!

Amici is a wonderful place to dine. The food is delicious, the wait staff are attentive but not intrusive, and the ambience is very nice for a date night, family dinner out, or for a celebration. This was our 3rd time dining at Amici and it is one of our favorite spots!

We lived in Dallas area for last 40 years and had a favorite Italian place we went to weekly. Traditional Italian and cozy atmosphere. We were very sad when we left it behind and never thought we’d find a good place like it. Well, we found Amici’s!!!! This is our 4th visit and it keeps getting better and better! The atmosphere is cozy with just the right number of tables. The music is perfect (Sinatra, Bennet, etc). The food is awesome! Our first Sunday to go and we went for a specific reason - their Sunday Sauce. Oh my. SOOOOOO GOOD!! Husband and wife team own it and they were there which makes it even cozier. Amici’s is in our rotation for sure! EXCELLENT!

This was our first visit and had high hopes for a new go to place close to home. The restaurant really struggled. Was out of chicken. No chicken parm. No chicken of any kind. Just out. Waiter came back to table twice so we could remind him what we ordered. There were only two other table with guests so that was weird. They were out of first wine by the glass we ordered. Heard manager or maybe part owner explaining to neighboring table that traffic was slow but she had heard that was the case for others so it must not be something they are doing wrong. It is absolutely the opposite. It seems like it might be all them. That table was also told that two things they tried to order were out of stock. Also their wine order was out. Bummed because I hoped we had a new go to place close to home. No it’s a one a done for us.

As a small, family-run restaurant, it’s just my husband and I behind the scenes, & we do our best to create a welcoming & reliable experience for every guest. Unfortunately, we had a large unexpected party that evening, which caused us to run out of some items. Also, our wines from specialty importers, & delays in delivery have been out of our control. That said, your experience is not what we aim for, and we’re bringing this situation to our staff’s attention immediately to make sure better communication, preparation, & service are in place going forward.
