   It was our first time visiting for a special occasion. It was a 45 mn drive for us, but well worth it! We ordered NY Strip, Ribeye and Salmon Portofino. All were mouthwatering and the truffle Parmesan fries were amazing! We also ordered crème brûlée, chocolate lava cake, 12 layer milk/dark chocolate cake and bread pudding with whisky sauce for dessert. They were to die for! The service was top notch and they also had a talented musician playing guitar which added to the ambiance. We liked that it was a laid back, casual environment. It was pricey, but you get what you pay for and we will definitely return!

   This is one of my favorite places to eat. 5 star food without the 5 star prices. I came here to celebrate my 60th Birthday and try their prime rib for the first time. They did not disappoint.

   The food was outstanding. My only beef was that for an “upscale” dining experience, the dining room was not terribly elegant. When paying over a $100 for a meal for two people without drinks, I guess I expect a little more ambience. And the ladies bathroom needs a good clean and an update.

   A hidden gem in the Western Carolina Mountains. Excellent service, pleasant atmosphere and wonderful food.

   Delicious food and cocktails. The calamari was fantastic. I had the crab stuffed grouper and it was wonderful and flavorful. Fantastic service. What a gem to have in our home town.

   We loved our cute and attentive waitress and the 2 for 1 cocktails. We both ordered the sirloin and baked potatoes as our entre and large shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. The appetizer was the best. My sirloin was a little chewy and my friend's was thicker and more tender. Overall, we enjoyed the restaurant and look forward to the opening of the one coming soon to Jonesborough.

   Everything was excellent from start to finish! The only little bump in the road (and it was not a big deal) was that I was going to get a bottle of wine off of the menu and they did not have my first two choices so I quit at that point!

   We made the very easy drive from Banner Elk, in search of a great steak, and we weren’t disappointed! We started our meal with an incredible shrimp cocktail, with a zesty cocktail sauce like we would make at home. It’s the first restaurant we’ve eaten at that put enough horseradish in the sauce. Then we got a delicious Caesar salad, and bread that we shouldn’t have eaten but couldn’t resist, and then our steaks. Which were seasoned and char grilled to perfection! We got a bottle of Cabernet from Linville Falls winery, which was also a great surprise. Our service was exceptional, with just the right amount of attention from all the staff. It was well worth the trip; we will be back!

    Americano is always exceptional. This was our first meal of the season. We camp at nearby Roan Mountain from April-November and make a point to eat there anytime we’re here!
