   I work in restaurants, so I’m pretty picky about where I spend my time off but Americana has become a regular spot for me. The lakeside view is gorgeous, especially around sunset, and the vibe is laid back but still polished. I’m here almost every Tuesday for the $1 oysters, which are good every time. The staff’s always friendly, and the whole place just feels easy good energy, good food, and a setting that makes you want to stay a while.

   Food was extremely bland. Husband had the pesto pasta with chicken, chicken had no seasoning whatsoever. Same with the chicken BLT sandwich. The place has potential, but the food needs work.

   Ambience is great but service was not so great. With it being Mother’s Day, the tables should have a centerpiece with some flowers but it was just bare with plate settings. Our table was rocking but the server was able to even it out by placing a folded napkin under one of the legs. Tacky! Food was good especially the braised short ribs. But the $90+ Japanese wagyu looked like Chinese takeout. They forgot to put the tobiko caviar. Service was sooo slow as it took 1 hour from the time we were seated to the time we got food. And this is just brunch! I had to keep asking for water and mimosa refills.

   We have been to Americana several times since first having dinner there in the Fall of last year. The food and service were excellent and so much so that we later had two dinner parties there including one in which we booked a private room. Yesterday we had dinner with my wife's brother and sister who had flown in from Oregon and Washington state specifically for a celebration for my wife's birthday. There were six of us and we arrived just after 6PM. Unfortunately, we weren't able to leave until 9PM - and it wasn't because we wanted to stay that long. It was because the service was the worst I've ever seen. Although the server assigned to our table was terrific, the length of time we had to wait for our food to arrive was over an hour AFTER we finished our salads. We were told that there was a large party of 50 people that was causing the delay but that's really not an excuse that makes any sense. You can't ignore the 30-40 people in your normal dining room just to serve those 50. How about staffing up ahead of time to make sure that is avoided? One other note - one of our party had to send their steak back because their medium-rare filet came out with a cold center. Not cool - cold. My medium-rare rack of lamb came out medium-well. It didn't get sent back because I'd already waited an hour and wasn't about to wait another 15 minutes for my meal. So there were clearly some quality issues with those two dishes. One last note - because we were a party of 6, there was an automatic 20% gratuity added on. AND there was nothing comp'd on our bill as a result of the poor service. I had spoke to the GM once during the meal and again on the way out. But by the time we left, we'd already paid our bill so there wasn't much to do. We *might* come back just because our earlier visits were great. We'll see. With all that said, we *might* come back again.

   Americana is one of our most favored restaurants in the valley. Peaceful setting, no tourists, great menu, ample servings, quality food at great prices. Thank you for your fine establishment.

   Absolutely an easy first choice when it comes to a fine dining experience. My girlfriend and I loved every second of our experience. The service, the ambiance, the food, the music and oh my gosh, the Black Forest cheese cake! We sat right next to the window facing the lake and watched the ducks swim by, nothing quite like enjoying a wonderful dinner and watching baby geese grazing with their parent geese. I cannot wait to come back and try everything on the menu! Even the regulars were a part of the experience, everyone was so friendly. Skylar was our server and we hope to get him again. Thank you Americana! You guys are the best.

   Absolutely incredible. We went here for prom and the food was absolutely incredible and the waiter was absolutely fantastic. The location is olgorgeous and is now our favorite restaurant!

    Sadly this was a poor experience. My daughter ordered the filet medium rare, it was basically raw and we had to send it back. I ordered the lobster linguine. The first bite of lobster was cold, another bite was mush. The lobster wasn’t cooked enough either. It took forever for the waiter to come back to the table, at that point I was not sending it back or ordering something else. My husband ordered the tuna which was good, but he wanted soy sauce. Since the waiter basically never came back to the table after the food was dropped, my husband never had a chance to request soy sauce. Overall, very disappointing
