Americana Las Vegas
Tue–Sun 11:30 am–3:00 pm
Tue–Sun 3:00 pm–10:00 pm
My wife and mother in law loved it. The price was reasonable for the level of service and food quality. The menue is limited but quality and alcohol selection is all top shelf. Food is plated with elegance and sophistication in mind.
Americana over-hyped itself when the waiter immediately boasted about being one of the top ten restaurants in the country - which is ridiculous of course. It was rated by TMG Entertainment - which I've never even heard of. After my experience, I wouldn't put it in the top ten restaurants in Summerlin, Nevada! The food was okay - not bad, not great. Small portions which were mis-described on the menu and by the waiter - for example, the beet salad had no lettuce, so "salad" was a mis-nomer. The service was attentive for the first 15 minutes and then scattered and absent. The view of the water is gorgeous and the restaurant was beautifully lit. The prices were strip prices without the "pomp and circumstance" delivery.
They were generous with the champagne but they should be for an additional $17 on top of $42. I liked a few dishes but was not a fan overall. Very foo foo. If you like that you will probably like this restaurant. I had a nice time but would not go back.
This place is a very nice place, nice atmosphere,
Food was good,
We went early, at 5:30 so there were few other diners; it started to fill up around 6:30. There was a live guitar player that was very nice background; before that they played standards (think Sinatra et al.). The service was excellent, the servers very friendly and attentive w/o hovering. The cocktails were exceptional; my partner had an old fashioned from off their menu; it arrived in a glass lantern full of wood smoke; they opened the lantern and you take out the drink; yes, it WAS smoky. The food was goodly portioned and a good value for the money (not too pricey). The ambience was a glassed in room overlooking Lake Jacqueline and the tables were set with white cloths and napkins and the room featured crystal chandeliers that added a touch of elegance w/o the whole place seeming TOO elegant. Highly recommended~
I come in to Las Vegas a few times a year on business and always make sure to stop by here for dinner. Steve the owner always comes by the table to make sure everything is ok and has great recommendations from the menu. The staff is so friendly including his mother who was in to visit and was helping out. This place is a must to visit. Lee H
food was delicious... however, very very small portions. service was ok seemed to be understaffed.
however, all the employees were so courteous and very nice. Restaurant is just beautiful. we love it
This is such a hidden gem. More people should experience. Friendly elegant 5 star dining with a spectacular ambience
This was our second time for Sunday brunch. Our first experience was wonderful excellent service and delicious tasting options. Second visit food was still tasty but service was abysmal. Sat for long periods no food or drinks. Items ordered didn't come out without asking multiple times. Bottomless drinks were a joke because you couldn'the get a drink. Maybe it was just a bad day. Might be willing to try again but please up your game on the service.
I dined here with my children yesterday for brunch, and I use a service animal. I understand that everyone doesn’t want to be near children or a dog while dining. I contacted the restaurant in advance to notify them and explained that we could sit on the patio away from everyone. They accommodated us and other guests. To my surprise our table had a beautiful view of the lake and was in a semi-private area. All of the service staff were attentive, worked really fast and had great short table side conversation. We enjoyed the unlimited made to order options and I enjoyed the Paloma cocktails. I ordered 2 servings of shrimp and grits because they were that good! We will definitely visit again.
The food was amazing . But it doesn’t make up for the 45 min wait it took to be serviced just a drink . They didn’t even come by to drop a menu off for 30 Mins . They said they were busy which I could reason with but we felt totally forgotten about , they even forgot my side dish I ordered . I’d be willing to give them another try because the food was so good but the service was terrible . So disorganized for such a small place . Kind of disappointed by it .
I went with a group of 7 to eat brunch. It was so unorganized- food was coming out of order and it was taking so long that they comp’d our drinks.
The food was good but not for the price and I felt bad for our waiter as he was trying to fix all the mistakes. At the end, they gave me the wrong bill so I pointed that out so I wouldnt stiff them.
Not the greatest experience.
With a reservation took several minutes to get sat, was told it was because of a large party. However, upon entering seemed a little slow ; thought the wait was a bit of a reach. Was greeted at table by buss person and server. Been there before, however business associate had not and server really didnt explain much to my business associate. Mimosas were always filled up and everyone was very upbeat. Most food items we had came out fast, However several of the FIRST items did not come until the very end. The manager did an excellent job of getting all of our food to us in a timely manner (after we let the server know we never got our food) and even got us two complimentary glasses of limoncello for our long wait of the food. As a restaurant manager myself, I was very impressed with this managers quick action. Will come back for more business meetings, even good for more personal reasons.
The Harvest Menu was good, not excellent. Service was slow that evening because the restaurant was very busy. It was too noisy in the dining room with so many people talking loudly. We would have dined outside on the patio if there had been gas heaters. Very nice view, as always. Overall, a bit disappointing.
Dylan was a wonder server everything was delicious and the manager was very nice. The owner aka the Chef is doing a magnificent job!
What a great place! Love the whole thing; food, service, ambiance, etc. Can't wait to go back.
Fabulous!!! Would recommend wholeheartedly. Not cheap but worth oy
I celebrated my birthday at the restaurant having dinner with my husband. We sat outside and it was so peaceful. Exceptional service by waitstaff. We will definitely be returning
This was much better than many hi-end restaurants at the strip without the hassle. Beautiful location on lake Jacqueline in Desert Shores (just 20 min from strip.) Romantic setting with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the water.
Had a signature martini with basil and yellow pepper - absolutely delicious. The salads are works of art and rib eye and short ribs were perfection.
Our waiter really knew the menu and was capable of conveying his enthusiasm for the food to us. We believed and he was right!
Highly recommend this restaurant who is looking for an amazing dinner away from the strip and it was also a great value in comparison.
Quiet, laid back, WATER in vegas
What a fabulous evening with five girlfriends celebrating a 40 year reunion. From the champagne to strawberry gaspacho to our delicious entrees and passion fruit tart... just perfect! The chef even came out to greet us.. we were thrilled. He is a down to earth guy and really knows how to prepare a great meal. The menu has a great selection that ensures that everyone can find just the right thing. And then there is Marcin, our waiter, that took care of us the entire evening. A professional at what he does and the friendliest guy you would ever want to meet. Americana is our go-to place when we have visitors .. or just whenmy husband and I want a fabulous dining experience. It is truly a hidden gem and well worth the drive from the Strip for a meal you will never forget!
We have had dinner and it was wonderful.
Then we went back for Sunday brunch and it was just awesome.
We will be back soon.
Thanks for a fun Sunday.
Chef Steve is amazing. The food quality and execution was top-notch! I can't wait to go back with my friends and family!!
Had a wonderful experience! The food, ambiance and service could not have been better!
Went to lunch here and the service and food were outstanding. We sat near a window over-looking the lake at Desert Shores--hard to believe it was in Las Vegas. This is truly an outstanding find. In addition to their regular dinner menu, they have a Harvest Dinner menu which changes every week. It includes three courses with wine pairing with first course and the entree for $42. That's hard to beat. They also have a lovely room for small dinner parties that seats about 15-20 people. Terrific for an anniversary or birthday celebration. We will go back often and hope others will do the same.
If you don't try this place you are missing out! the chef is ultra attentive and the harvest menu can't be beat!
Food was excellent but service was subpar. Had to request bread after sitting for 15 minutes. It finally arrived after the entrees were served. Had to repeatedly request waiter’s attention. Ambiance was fantastic and would give them a solid 5 if not for the poor service.
Great service, relaxing atmosphere for dining. Food was fresh, awesome presentation, unique and delicious flavors and sauces were paired perfectly with the entree
This is one of the finest restaurants in northwest Las Vegas/Summerlin. Chef Blandino is very creative with his menu and yet one has a definite feeling of comfort food but with a 5-star experience. I have recommended this restaurant on many occasions and not one person came away disappointed but all were thrilled with the experience they found...and have become return visitors.
We had an exceptional time at Americana. The Harvest prefix menu was absolutely delicious and the best bang for your buck. We can’t wait to go back!
Felt like we were not in Last Vegas. The ambiance and Jazz playing. Will definitely tell my friends.
We had the best time. Everything was amazing. Our server Vinny was excellent. Thank you for making our birthday celebration extra special.
Great service and a nice venue. A good value with the "special menu" which varies with the season. Table-side prep is a great added touch to an overall nice dining experience. Knowledgeable staff and a fairly decent wine list top off the occasion.
We chose this place because if it’s sitting on the lake, the food, the drink, and service were all excellent. The only place either of us could fault the setting was that the music was too loud not much just a bit. There were only about four other tables occupied in the main dining area and if the dining area was full the sound of the conversation and the level of the music would’ve made it Uncomfortably loud
We went here for my birthday with my girlfriends. Everything was great. The food, the wine, our waiters. We sat outside looking out over the lake and it was a beautiful night. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. Since it was my birthday they brought out several desserts not just one for me at the end of our meal. It was truly a memorable experience and I will definitely be going back. It’s not a cheap place but it’s worth the money you do spend. They also had special 3 course and 5 course menus along with their regular menu.
Food that was ordered was not satisfactory and when addressed to the "manager", nothing was offered to resolve the problem. The food I returned remained on the bill and nothing was done.
We had an excellent experience! It is hidden away in a local neighborhood. The service was the best! Seemed like everyone was making sure we were good. Our waiter Jesse took extra good care of being it was my birthday I even got a special dessert! My husband and I already are planning our anniversary there. Looking forward to trying the night dining on the water.
Very enjoyable. We will definitely be back
Amazing food, Amazing service, Amazing chef, Amazing ambience. Loved it! Must try’s are the goat cheese ravioli, wagu steak, Jurassic prawns, king crab.
Very enjoyable great food and wine as well as great service we will definitely be back on a regular basis
