Definitely would order individual steaks next time as it would have been better cuts of meat and less fat. The view is beautiful here though and an oasis away from the desert which is why we visit this area. Note the menu here on Opentable is NOT the menu they offer. We went for surf and Turf and other salads etc and upon arrival were told that none of what we wanted was offered. We were told they change the menu every other day.
Great service and beautiful ambiance, plus 20% LVAC member discount! Highly recommended!
Great Restaurant with a great atmosphere. Service was good and food was good as well!
Wonderful evening as always. On the water birthday celebration
My first restaurant outing in 400 days and a perfect choice for a perfect evening. Schuyler was a great server who volunteered to split dishes he knew we were sharing. Great spot for celebrating.
I had a reservation and they initially sat us at this tiny little folding table right by a server's station. I was not happy, however, they moved us to an outdoor table as soon as one was available.
First time to try dinner at Americana with my husband ordered scallop and it has shell it almost broke my husband tooth.. told to server about it it didn’t give us any complimentary or discount since we ordered expensive steak plus the waitress keep asking if we are done and seems like their in hurry to clean your table..
We usually eat there on Saturdays. Everyone remembers us, treats us very well, the food is always the best we have had!
I recommend everyone try this restaurant once and I think you will feel the same.
Everything was great 👍 Food, service and ambient
Americana is always outstanding.
The hostess was fantastic!! She accommodated our special needs when making the reservations and was so sweet!
We have been to Americana several times and always enjoyed it. Last night we had a different and poor experience. The food was excellent but it did take 45 min to get the appetizers and service was very slow. Largely because of a large party in the private room. The noise level was very high given that multiple children were screaming. This restaurant needs to have a policy of no children under 12 allowed. Felt like I was at a Chuckie Cheeses. I had requested the manager come over but never saw him. We are supposed to have dinner again there in the near future but are reconsidering. Very disappointing with the service and noise level. Also one of our servers called my friend “mama” and my husband “bro” throughout the night. Strange and uncomfortable. I am open to discussion with management or the owners but doubt they will respond. We want to enjoy this place but at the price point I expect a lot better; which we did receive in the past.
Great food and great staff! Made the day extra special
As always, Americana does a terrific job!
Service and atmosphere were top notch. Flavors of food were amazing, but our filet and new york were slightly tough, so for the price that is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Wagyu was amazing and the servers treat everyone so well!
One of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. Serene atmosphere and view out over the lake, and always excellent food and service.
Americana is great. Every meal has been tasty and the service is caring and personable. We love it.
Service is very lacking here as we could tell soon as we walked in the building, very chaotic. After being seated it only took our extremely condescending waiter 20 mins, stopping at our table several times for extended periods of time, to take our drink order. During this time, he explained the bs he tells all his tourist guests, even though we aren’t, and made several offensive comments that would normally make me leave but I was with my wife. After making a ridiculous comment watching us say a short prayer before our meal, our waiter didn’t stop one more time to ask how the food was or if we wanted another drink. The staff just seemed overly concerned with the VIP guests? Or he just didn’t care about us or the tables around us as he oozed all over the tables in the main dining area with the view of the water. Not sure if this is common practice as we were dressed very nicely and we eat out fairly often and are not difficult guests.
Anyways, I had the halibut that was really great and the duck my wife had wasn’t good at all. It was just cooked unevenly and didn’t have a great flavor, if you could even chew enough to try and swallow a piece. I tried to gently explain this to the waiter but he dismissed me with a comment about eating goat or something almost as if he just expected us to eat the inedible meat and didn’t care. I asked him about the discount that is advertised for the LVAC and he basically said it’s only on these weekdays but if your a regular and not an ahole or something that they would honor it. I declined, paid the bill and reflected his appalling service in the tip he received which was still decent. I was in the industry before and I don’t think I’ve met a more ridiculous waiter in this town. He said he’s been in the industry for 22? years and wears an American flag facemask. He knows who he is and whoever runs this place should look over their staff very carefully. I would love to go back but not with your current staff.
This place truly has it all. The service was amazing, food was great, ambiance was beautiful. Can't wait to go back😍👏🏾
Excellent location away from strip.
The pond is beautiful!
Disappointed. My husband and I have been wanting to go for years and the experience didn’t come close to our expectations. The server hyped up every dish on the menu while touting his experience working for every well-known chef in Las Vegas instead of showing any type of genuine interest in our party. My wine glass went empty twice and I had to track down someone to get me another one because our server didn’t come check on us. Our server also spilt a generous amount of soy sauce on our table and didn’t attempt to cover it or replace the cloth, leaving our out-of-town guests to use on their own napkins to cover it. The oysters and the sashimi were good, but the tomahawk steak that we ordered medium rare for 4 was rare. Almost inedible, rare. Our server promised it would be the best steak we’d ever have so we were ok paying the higher price, but it was just average. The truffle mashed potatoes were very good though. We were also seated near the cashier station and anytime one of us said something and our server was nearby, he was laugh at our jokes or comments and insert himself into private conversation. Just an awkward dinner overall.
KC our server was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and resourceful! The food and ambiance was 5 star! This is why I visit Americana, the service is top notch and consistent.
We had an excellent experience at Americana. Great food with spectacular ambience.
The food was EXCELLENT. SERVICE WAD VERY GOOD, a little slow. A little too much time between interaction. The food was very good though.
Fantastic!! Loved our view and our server was fantastic. Only problem was that a bird pooped on our outside table but that wasn’t the restaurants fault
Outstanding! Especially the service! The "She Crab Soup" and Caesar Salads were perfect!
We requested an outdoor table and made reservation 2 weeks prior for a birthday celebration. When we arrived we were told outside table is not available, but they seated other people outside after we had a conversation with the host. Very disappointing, ruined our birthday celebration. We are locals who regularly dined here on special occasions but we will not come back. They could have at least called us and let us know that outdoor seating was not available to save us a trip
We had a truly world class meal with out of town guests. New menu items (scallop truffle pasta, duck, halibut) were each just outstanding. Great service from the entire staff, great wine pairing recommendations (even at modest price points). AMERICANA IS THE REAL DEAL - A WORLD CLASS RESTAURANT - DON'T MISS IT!
Our dinner at the Americana was flawless! Best dinner out we have had in quite a long time.
Great service, excellent food and amazing atmosphere..
Always a great service and good food.
Water views in Vegas, say whaaaaaat?! Excellent service and delicious food. My mom couldn't stop talking about the Shrimp Scampi special!!
My go-to place for fine dining. Everything about the Americana is five star! Out of town friends that I have taken there request another visit when they return.
It doesn't et better than The Americana.
Next time i would ask for window or library
Delicious lunchtime fare at reasonable prices, served lakeside outside on a sunny afternoon - Americana was a serendipitous choice for a tasty meal.
We had such a lovely time celebrating my friends birthday! Our waiter Jesse was very patient and outgoing ! Service was on point! We sat outside and although it was windy, it was perfect!!! Our food was delicious! I had the salmón dish. I recommend the chocolate bar for dessert!
beautiful scenery from the patio at night it was so relaxing with the ducks swimming.
The food was fabulous and the outside view was amazing
The setting and ambiance of the restaurant is very good ,however the food is “B-“
Best place to eat in Summerlin!
