Absolutely awesome!!!! I was given a great recommendation and gift certificate and so glad. We will definitely be back soon.
We read a review touting it as a romantic restaurant and were excited. It really felt like a cafeteria with tile floors which echo making it very loud and then the restaurant was filled with smoke from the kitchen. We were disappointed and left so really can't speak much to food quality.
I found the experience at Americana to be nothing short of amazing. Tasty food, tremendous presentation and outstanding service. If you're looking for quality dining, you've found it!
Lovely and well appointed restaurant on a lake. Waterfront dining in Nevada is truly special. Food and service were outstanding, quite expensive though. Dinner for 4 was $400 (tip included), one glass of wine each. We will dine at Americana again. I recommend it highly. Go and enjoy!
This restaurant is a gem, great atmosphere, great service, very accommodating, food is served as if it is artistry and not only does it look good it tastes even better. I have been back several times and have never been disappointed. Best Happy Hour, best brunch, and their Harvest Menu which changes weekly with unlimited wine parings is frankly the best deal in town.
Very good service and food. We went for brunch and the food was phenomenal. Table service instead of buffet made the experience that much more special. Highly recommended.
The Sunday brunch is amazing. The food is incredible and the price is awesome. We’ve been there twice in one month.
We had a wonderful experience at Americana. The staff was attentive and incredibly helpful. Everything we ordered was amazing! My only wish is that it was warmer so we could have enjoyed the outside view more. I would definitely return!
A friend recommended Americana. I don't know how she found it, but I'm glad! Our group of 4 enjoyed our dinner (tasting menu) & wine selections. I'd like to go back for their sunday Brunch sometime--sounds amazing!
Our server, Vincent C, and the manager were both highly professional during the course of our dinner; we did not have to wait for our server to come to us. I recommend this place to people looking for a romantic ambiance. Great location, good food, and even better wine!
Our server was absolutely incredible as was the food!! We also got the chilled seafood appetizer great that it also has lobster on it!! Will be back for sure!
Our new go-to romantic dinner spot! Since Alize closed we have been looking for a new dining getaway. Americana is it! Prices are reasonable, menu options are very nice, with the chef focusing on accepting flavors. Well prepared, well served in a quiet lakeside setting in Summerlin.
All around great brunch. Love that there are small
Plates and sharing
My first visit to Americana Las Vegas was for Sunday Brunch. The food and the service were both excellent. Better than expected. I will be back for another visit
We had a great evening on our 40th wedding anniversary.
Beautiful setting. We were able to sit outside, just in time because it would have been to cold the next few days. Everything was GREAT!
Excellent place to eat, food was sooo fantastic and the waitstaff was DEFINITELY on it!!! I can't wait to go back with my hubby.
I'm not sure I can explain how great this gem of a restaurant is. The food and wine were so amazing that I ended up taking different business clients two nights in a row. Best of all for me, they have a vegan tasting menu as well as meat selections for my guests. I asked them to make my vegan tasting menu oil-free which is usually a problem. It was not for them. They actually know how to cook. You will be happy you ate at Americana.
Great ambiance, fantastic service and delicious food. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
Went here for Valentine's day and was extremely disappointed. First of all, we were not told in advance that this would be a set menu for $125 with no options of ordering off the menu. I've been to plenty of restaurants in Vegas on holidays that have a special menu prepared but they give you the option of ordering off the menu as well, or if there is no option they are sure to tell you in advance. There is no way this meal was worth $125. The menu was very nice, but the execution was deplorable. If everyone is eating the same meal you would think they the kitchen could do a great job of delivering each course perfectly. Instead it was like a factory, helpers running around the restaurant not knowing which table was supposed to get which course. Our appetizer was delivered to the table next to us when they were waiting for dessert, then the runner looks helplessly at the server like they don't know what to do and this was going on all over the place. The oysters were served room temp to warm, the fish course was over cooked and cold, the salad was the best course. The first four courses were semi-rushed to us, then we waited a long time for dessert. Our server, Sandra, forced bottled water on us at $7/bottle, then her partner Vinny asked if we wanted tap water. A 20% gratuity was added to the bill with no mention from Vinny, so it was left to us to figure that one out for ourselves. It was our first time here and decor is beautiful, the menu was very nice, so that made it all the more disappointing because we could see the potential. After this night, we'll never go back and we'll think twice before going out at all for Valentine's Day again.
I'm aware Valentine's day dinners are normally a rip off, but this place did not shy away from charging the absolute most for a mediocre meal. After waiting 45mins to get our reserved table, the server told us the only choice we get to make is dessert. It's ok if you like oysters and red meat (I do) but my wife prefers lighter dishes (the did sub the oyster). Not having a choice and charging $125 per head (this was not disclosed upon booking) you expect great service, which it wasn't. Felt like a conveyor belt. And to top all this, service fee of $50 was added to our bill. Extremely unhappy about how we were treated.
First time at this restaurant and I highly recommend it. Thanks to the chefs and staff for being so accommodating. The food was wonderful.
The staff was incredibly professional and very accommodating. We booked through OpenTable, without knowing they were only serving a prix-fixe. When we arrived and they informed us of the prix-fixe, we explained we didn’t know and they were kind enough to allow us to order a la carte, which was important because we rarely eat more then an entree and split an appetizer.
Food was amazing.
Our second time visiting this restaurant, LOVED the food, VERY busy night (Valentine’s Day) staff seemed rushed with their movements, and visibly stressed..was unfortunate. Beautiful setting, would recommend
I had a great meal there the first time I went, so we cane back for valentines day. We were not told when the reservations were made that it would be a set menu, nor when they called the day before to confirm the reservations. My wife does not eat seafood or red meat and that was the entire menu. To try to make it right, they gave her 1/2 of a chicken and a lettuce salad and desert. The charge for this was $125.00. We wrote Americana the next day and asked them if this sounded fair to them. We are yet to hear a response. It was a very disappointing valentines day.
Went here for Sunday brunch. They have an all you can eat menu, where the food is cooked to order. The items are served in small portions, perfect to share. The food and service was great. I heard some complaints of people having to wait but, our experience was excellent. Will visit when in town again. Get off the strip, go here!
Americana is wonderful! We have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. All the food is so fresh and they have something to please everyone. Wine list is excellent as well as the cocktails - try the smoking bourbon! The staff is exceptional - friendly, helpful and attentive. Marcin and Daniel are our favorites but truly everyone is warm and welcoming. We will be back!
Another great meal at the very deserving winner of numerous recent awards.
We have visited previously but this Saturday evening was such a disappointment: very soggy lukewarm ravioli, cold fois gras, rubbery octopus, very fatty and tough filet steak, dry fish x 2; good deserts and wine.
My husband and I celebrated Valentine's Day a little early. We had a couples massage at the Spa by Lakeside and made our dinner reservation for 5:30 at Americana for dinner. Americana came highly recommended by some coworkers of mine. Our massage was done at 5:00 so we headed over to Americana where we were greeted and seated right away. Our server was amazing and explained the menu and gave some recommendations. My husband ordered the slow braised short rib and I ordered the salmon. We also split the beet salad and an order of the crab fried rice for a side. Everything was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. The ambiance was gorgeous and relaxing as we were seated right by the window and had a beautiful view of the lake. I would 100% recommend this restaurant. I loved, loved, loved it!
Best service we had. Waiter was so friendly and so serving. We felt very welcome there. The food was good overall but I didn't like the carrots so much.
Stood at the front desk for 10 minutes waiting to be seated for for 7 pm reservation. Finally seated us against the window. Great view but the tables were so close together that my chair was constantly bumped by the guy behind me. Waiter asked us what we wanted to drink and what we wanted to order. Told him we wanted our drinks first. He said take your time. 10 minutes later we got our drinks and he asked us again what we wanted to order. Very annoying. Food was good but $52 for a small Ribeye was no bargain. Owner should seriously think about sound proofing because it is super loud. Eye beams and glass with low ceilings magnify sound. Could hear the guy behind me easier than I could hear my wife because he was closer. Restaurant just doesn't have it's act together in terms of people or processes. For the $206. I spent, there are better places in Summerlin that have their act together.
I haven't been to a restaurant where I've been impressed from start to finish in a long time but I was definitely impressed here.
We started with the seafood platter, which had crab, oysters, lobster, shrimp, and octopus paired perfectly with chardonnay. Then we had the butternut squash soup with panchetta and foie gras foam. Then we had the kobe beef, which just melted as soon as it touched your tongue, paired with a nice glass of red. Finished off with a delightful cheesecake and peanut butter bar paired with champagne.
The view is spectacular and the service was impecable!!! Would definitely come back.
Amazing..quiet, waterfront with ducks..went for lunch date.. perfect...will definitely go again ..
Booked a table here to meet up with long lost friends. Staff was wonderful and allowed us to take time to reminisce. Food was excellent and the view of the lake was extremely relaxing. I would recommend this location to all my friends.
The food was excellent - octopus appetizer and beet salad very nice - halibut and scallop entrees as well. One huge snag was that the restaurant was occupied by a large corporate party, except for 4 tables left for the individual groups that had reserved tables that evening. The noise level was extreme and the hard surfaces all around us didn't absorb any sound. They should have closed the restaurant for a private party that night. We decided to stay because we had been looking forward to trying the place. The staff and servers worked very hard to provide the right amount of attention and care to our party, while attending to the banquet. Our server took time as we were leaving to chat with us and encouraged us to return on a quieter evening. We look forward to doing that.
Fabulous food in this neighborhood gem.
This space, formerly occupied by Garfields, has always been a favorite. The lakeside view is lovely and the Summerlin location convenient.
The new owners have taken the food to the next level. It is outstanding. Artfully presented, top quality ingredients and straight forward recipes. Gourmet without being convoluted.
We tried two desserts, the tangerine cheesecake and the lemon tart. Both divine, but if I had to choose the lemon tart wins.
We have only dined at lunch, but it would be a great dinner spot.
The service was professional and friendly, the food came out promptly.
We had an absolutely wonderful New Year's Eve dinner! Tonight, we were offered the choice of a 5-course or a 6-course prix fixe menu. The California Halibut was perfection because my daughter who refuses to eat fish, finished her halibut and was hoping for more! Service was fantastic even on this very busy night. We plan to be back for lunch or brunch so that we can take in more of the lake view. Americana is truly a neighborhood gem!
Abby was a great server. Drink service was slow. Filet mignon was undercooked but good flavor.
