Overall, outstanding! Food was amazing. We had a couple of small glitches with service, but everything got handled promptly.
Absolutely lovely! Birthday celebration was perfect. Staff takes excellent care of you.
Tips for diners: (1) Show up half an hour early for your reservation to actually get sat at the time you reserved -- apparently it's just a call-ahead wait list. (2) If there are only two people in your party, you are not worth your server's time. Glancing through online reviews you can start to see a pattern: come for a date night and you'll be disappointed.
Count me in for disappointed.
Reservation was for 7:30 for an Anniversary Dinner. We showed up promptly at 7:30 and were told we have three people in front of us and that our wait would be twenty minutes (!?). We were finally sat (without menus) and were told it would be a few minutes for our server, and it was. Our server's assistant took care of us all night. While nice and pretty attentive, he was apparently busy and a little forgetful at times (one example: we watched bread baskets float around the dining room, asked for ours a few times, and didn't get it until mid-way through our main course). Our server -- Vinny -- appeared once at the end of our meal (at 10pm...2.5 hours after our reservation time) to say three words and collect our plates. I've worked restaurants most of my life. It was not busy enough for this to happen and completely inexcusable.
The food was pretty good; not great. The menu is fairly standard and nothing really stands out (though the carrot puree that looks/tastes like baby food with the filet does stand out, just not in a good way).
I shouldn't have strayed from Marche Bacchus. I'll be over there instead of ever stepping foot in this place again. It's just not worth the risk.
[I'm a believer in publicly praise, silently criticize. I privately contacted and gave owner/chef several days to respond to my concerns about their FOH & service after this spectacularly awful experience. I'm stunned and disappointed by their continued silence and sadly needed to make this feedback public.]
Great food and service! Beautiful location
Lovely views, exceptional for group gatherings, weddings, etc.
Always a very good and reliable dining experience at Americana.
The ambience was great and everyone was so friendly and genuine.
The beet salad is a must try!!!! The goat cheese and beet purée is amazing! Husband and I split a steak....the portion did even look like we
Split! Jalapeños Mac and cheese....needs more cheese sauce, was not a huge hit. Mother in law has scallops and shrimp and raved all night about it.
Thank you for the fantastic experience! So nice to go out and have a really well cooked luxury meal once and a while. Incredible ingredients, creativity and skill in all of the dishes at the table. Great service as well!
It was my second time there.Probably one of the best restaurants i have been to in Las vegas. The owner is friendly and his staff is very very nice.
We always enjoy brunch there. Vinny, Aaron and the rest of the crew did a great job, tho' we were a handful; group of 10.
Excellent food and service!
Americana is in a lovely location along a lake. We started with the grilled octopus appetizer, which was quite tasty. (My husband and I always order octopus if we see it on any menu. ) This was exceptional. The presentation of my husband's main course swordfish was unique. It came to the table covered, in a smoke filled dome. The swordfish had a perfect black char and a subtle smokey taste. My beef short ribs were tender and highlighted with a delicious sauce. The cheesecake dessert was superb, but the star of the dessert was the accompanying sorbet. Definitely will be returning!
Absolutely fantastic. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Definitely worth the ride from the Strip.
The Chef was very nice to have a table set by the lake for our group. Service was seamless. Foods were delectable.
The view is great, the food is good though the root vegetables literally still had roots when served and the way they served the lobster, well you received a lot of shell and not much lobster. Our waiter was pleasant and bent over backwards, but from the looks of it was waiting on most if not all the tables w/some help from assistant waiters. Most of the wait staff, but especially the main waiter really needed a clean shirt, vest and better fitting clothes.
The decor in the restaurant was a "tired", and they really need to lose all the outdated, faded, silk floral arrangements. I will consider giving it another go.
This was a birthday celebration for a special friend. Our waiter was wonderful, made every effort to accommodate our needs. Food and drinks were wonderful and the view of the lake was beautiful.
Came here to celebrate our anniversary, had heard great things, but maybe our server was having an off night. He was hardly ever around, everything came out at once instead of coursed like we asked, and it took a long time to open our bottle of wine. Place wasn’t very busy. Our server focused on only one of his tables the entire night, even though we were also sitting right next to it we were pretty much ignored. Had to flag someone down every time we needed something, which was too often. Food was good, but we expected more for a $200 dinner.
We had a wonderful dinner. Americana is a hidden gem in Las Vegas. It is really a cool restaurant.
The ambiance is beautiful. The service is attentive, but not smothering. The food is outstanding.
Two of us had the Kobe steak prepared table side. It was great. One had the halibut, which looked great and, according to my son-in-law, it was wonderful. My wife had the Harvest Menu, which changes weekly. It's probably the best deal, depending upon what's on the menu. It includes salad, main course, desert, and as much wine as you want. I also recommend the Beet Salad...really good.
We appreciated that Steve, the chef, came to our table to check on our meal.
Very relaxing, beautiful room on the lake. Not "rushed" excellent service, superior food.
The restaurant was fabulous!! Lovely creative menu full of flavor. Wait staff was excellent kind and attentive. It was our 30 year anniversary and it really is a special place to celebrate!!
In suitable weather, this restaurant offers dining on their back patio overlooking a lake. Scenic, quiet, very pleasant. The food was attractively presented and better than on previous visits. We were told that the menu (though not the chef) was brand new. Service was excellent.
This was our first time here and it was wonderful. Food, service and ambience was the best. We will be back.
Staying on The Strip, we wanted to find a quiet place we could go to get away from the hustle and bustle. Americana nailed it! Food was spectacular, the octopus app was packed with flavor and perfectly grilled. Our server Jesse made the night by being both extremely friendly AND professional. We were treated like old friends by everyone at the establishment, truly an unpretentious and relaxing dining experience. Keep up the good work guys!
The service is always excellent. My favorite one the menu is the braised short rib. You will not be disappointed .
This was our first chance to try the Weekly Harvest. But it will not be our last!!! And endless wine pairings just put the whole experience over the top.
What a experience.....Everything about Sunday Brunch was excellent
It was our 18th wedding anniversary and they treated us very special. We had a table off by ourselves overlooking the lake. It was very romantic. Our service was impeccable and the food was divine. Probably the best experience we have had since moving to Vegas a year and a half ago. We will definitely go back!
I am a Vegas local, this restaurant is 15 minuets from my home, they have been open for 15 months and I just heard about it!! My husband and I went there for dinner on Friday night. We had the octopus appetizer which was the best octopus we ever had, everything about it was perfect. My husband had the salmon and he said it was delicious. I had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection with an amazing sauce. We had a side of their fries, I know you are thinking “really fries?”. They were amazing tender on the inside with a unbelievable crunchiness on the outside and a flavor of a actual potato. Dessert was a lemon meringue again to die for. Ambiance was one of the best in Vegas, we sat outside along the water at Desert Shores. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had Marcin as our server, will request him every time. This is our new favorite good dining restaurant. It is a hidden gem for locals.
Americana is a lovely restaurant. They pay close attention to the details of your meal. Everything was excellent. The service, the ambience, the food...everything! It is worth every penny. It was our second visit to this restaurant and we will be back, for sure.
We went for Easter brunch the food was delicious and the mamosa’s we’re strong just the way I like them :-)
Seated 45 minutes late.Food never came after waiting 30 min.We left very disappointed. Will not return & would NOT recommend.
So the overall ambiance was great. We sat by the water on the patio which was great. In fairness we went on Easter Brunch so this review may be a little different. Overall the wait staff was great and did a great job with what they had to work with. The kitchen was backed up and it took our food so long to get to our table. Thank god there was a carving station so we had some food but overall the food was slow getting to us. We were there for 3 hours and still did not try everything we wanted. I would go back again because the food was good and ambiance but never again for a holiday.
I love this restaurant and have always had great service. We went for Easter with family and friends and stayed awhile enjoying the food and drinks. Our waiter was wonderful. The only concern I had was upon leaving some of the staff was not so pleasant and made a comment that we were just now leaving. This should not have happened and costumer service is what keeps the business going.
We attended the Easter Brunch. The service was outstanding. There was always plenty of food and drinks being delivered non stop. Not a place I would frequent on a regular basis. There was five of us and with tip it came to almost $600. We did enjoy ourselves and do plan on coming back for Mothers Day. I already made the reservation.
Very enjoyable and beautiful setting
The Restaurant is beautiful inside with great views of a suburban lake. The staff is wonderful - very knowledgeable and skilled but not intrusive. Sommelier was super helpful, very charming and interesting.
We shared a bibb lettuce salad that was excellent and both had the halibut. The main dish was very good but very small serving for the price. The bread basket was nice with freshly baked rolls.
Great afternoon lunch with friends. The food was outstanding but very small portions. I would have loved to have had more veggies with my delicious salmon. We will go back but I hope they are less stingy with the veggies next time! The place is beautiful and the scenery of the lakes is awesome
What a wonderful find! We were delighted with the special crafted cocktails which set a perfect stage for the rest of the evening. The steak cooked table side was delicious and perfect. The celery root bisque a most pleasant surprise. Every dish was tasty and satisfying. The attention of staff was timely and never intrusive. All in all we had a most delightful evening! So glad we found this hidden, neighborhood gem. Reasonable prices too. What more could we want???
We have been there 4 times 3 for lunch and 1 time for their brunch the food is amazing!! The service is perfect. The brunch is very unique it is menu driven for $42 you have many choices and in fact you could have everything on the menu if you choose. Bottomless mimosa's are I believe $17. They bring French champagne and 4 juice choices including prickly pear from which to choose, I chose to just drink the bubbly no juice. Don't miss this great restaurant. I just wish they were closer to home (Anthem)
