We had such a great time at Amaya. The room was amazing and private. Also you have to try the Hens in the woods. It's amazing! The desserts are to die for!

The ambiance was great, but the service was lacking and food was not worth the cost. We reserved for a large party for my mom’s milestone birthday, and the celebration wasn’t even acknowledged. I was disappointed in my son’s french toast, as it lacked the Nutella mentioned on the menu and they gave us 4 small slices of banana. I was shocked they didn’t include the whole banana for the price we were paying. They also forgot about my niece’s food so she was left without food until the rest of us all but finished eating. We got a basic “we forgot” apology. Other family members ordered Benedicts that were skimpy on the hollandaise sauce and my huevos rancheros lacked flavor. Overall I was very disappointed and annoyed at the price tag for such a subpar experience. We then had to wait 20 minutes for our valet to return our car and they didn’t seem busy enough for that to be acceptable.

I've been looking to schedule a stop at this hotel for years and finally made the trip. What a disappointment! While the hotel is elegantly decorated, the looks could not make up for the disaster that hit with dinner. While the service was prompt and our waitress very professional, we found the menu to be very limited and was priced at super premium rates. I went with the pork chop and it was cooked nicely, but we left thinking there was nothing else on the menu we could eat tomorrow. We also found the pricing to be way out of line for the quality received. In the end, we cut our stay short the next day and moved to another hotel.

A lovely place to dine. The fooders are very high quality, but the menu is somewhat limited in selections. Not necessarily a great value, but a wonderful splurge. The service is outstanding.

A very nice dinner, ambiance, food, service all very good. Pate appetizer plate delicious. Scallop crudo outstanding, Pork chop excellent. Would give 5 stars if wine wasn’t overpriced ($93 for a $35 retail bottle) and we didn’t feel a bit rushed.

We are locals and visited on a regular basis since we always liked the overall ambience and the friendly, qualified service. During our last visits we realized the Food had been changing well under a mediocre level. After our visit on 03-24-25, where we had to entertain guests, we will not return any more unless you change Chef's. The preparation of the Escargot was inedible and cleared almost untouched. And we know and like Escargot. The Steelhead Trout was so highly overseasoned by Terragon that the Trout was totally overpowered. We have never seen such an unrecognizable Coq Au Vin black charred which as well was almost untouched. The two Pork Chop orders had not been prepaired medium, but so highly overcooked well done that they were dried out and almost inedible. We left very dissatisfied but with a carry out bag for our dogs.
