   Highly recommend this restaurant it was so good! One of the best Italian restaurants we have ever been too. After a few holiday pent in Italy it is hard to find really good Italian food in Australia but this place is really up there! Highly recommend amazing food 👌

   This is a beautiful restaurant in a prime location in Ettalong opposite the beach. It replaces a much loved restaurant of the same name in Pearl Beach destroyed by fire a couple of years ago. The menu is classic Italian with a good wine list. Prices are in the usual range and not excessive. We dined on a Tuesday evening for a birthday dinner for a friend. The arrival was a bit off - a fairly indifferent young lass just said “your table’s over there” waving her hand in that direction. Service was prompt - entrees were good and two of the mains were fine but the third - veal cotoletto - was tough, overcooked and very unappetising- most went home in a doggy bag and then sadly, into the bin. Paying the bill was an interesting exercise- very high tech noting all items on screen plus a handy option of tipping - 10, 20 percent or no tip. The latter gives the diner some recourse when they spot the 1,9% card surcharge - select the “no tip” option that’s your tip, mate! It’s about time businesses realise the poor impression these irritable measly add-ons create and it’s not too hard or too expensive to absorb these charges as a cost of doing business. Major stores do it and it’s obviously factored into their prices. Paying a miserable extra $4 on a $200 bill is beyond the pale. Apart from that and the lack-lustre service and one poor meal it was ok.

   Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Quick service. I had the Ravioli 4 cheese (special) lacking in sauce and my husband had The lasagna tomato sauce was reminiscent of jar sauce. Husband is half Italian so might explain the feedback! Overall though we had a nice date night!

   Staff were friendly and always checking to see that we were fine. Food was served hot and we all were happy with our meals. The puff bread was a hit too.
