   Had the pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Both were good but I felt it was a little pricey for what we got. Overall 4 stars. Nice restaurant in Salinas.

   Restaurant is beautiful and bar is cool. Service is fabulous. Food / menu is a work in progress. Limited bar type menu which I expect they will expand . I had a Moroccan chicken sandwich that was not good. Hamburger looked great, pizza was nice. BLT was a three rating. Fries are not good. There is a good base to grow / change this menu. Would like to see meals as are offered on their Monterey location menu. Also I would like half sandwich/ soups or salad . Lighter or smaller portions to be offered

   Great vibe, but not for a couple's night out. Place is very loud and unable to hear each other or our server. Our server was very sweet, but forgot some requests and the extremely slow service. Seemed like this place is short staffed, but a nice place if you want to hang out to drink.

   Love this restaurant! The menu is fabulous with plenty of savory choices to go with a wide selection of craft beers and wonderfully creative cocktails. Isaac has been our waiter a few times and everything he has recommended has been amazing. The restaurant is the latest addition to Downtown and is another wonderful place breathing life into a beautiful area.

    We were there celebrating a birthday and our server did not mention anything. My reservation was also for two on the second level but were sat on the first level close to the entrance where it was a little loud. Our food was great, aside from the ceviche which was beautiful in presentation but lacking in flavor. We also ordered the shrimp and lobster roll, pastor tacos, and the margherita pizza which were fantastic including our beverage selections. Our server was prompt in taking our order and continually checking on us which I greatly appreciated. Our food also came out very quickly and hot. Overall had a good first experience here and will definitely come back.

    As always the food was amazing the service was amazing but I don't understand why you put 3 drunken monkeys on the table next to us that were not ordering any food or drinks and were screaming at the TV it ruined the ambience Your menu says that you have the right to throw people out for being Ridiculous and these guys were they should have been tossed

    Great looking place. Friendly and attentive staff. I ordered the Surf & Turf. Steak was bit bland. The shrimp and lobster claw were very cold. My sisters portobello burger was tough and rubbery. My wife’s “smash burger” was delicious and she was very happy with it. My brother in-laws Alvarado cheeseburger was also very good.

    Firstly, I want to say I go to the Monterey branch quite often and have had good experiences in recent times. Came to the Salinas branch for a quick birthday lunch. I got there a little early, even though I placed a reservation, because I wanted to ask if they do anything for birthdays. They said they can do something small like a candle next to a small glass of beer. That's totally fine! We are very easy to please, plus it was something spontaneous and last minute. Though there was a lot of room, I was sat next to two very obnoxious lawyers who were honestly speaking too loudly about some very private cases. This isn't the restaurants fault, just dang, if you are reading this and you have a lawyer in Salinas regarding a case about your health insurance policy, make sure to ask your lawyer to quiet down because I swear I now know your entire health history. And believe me, it wasn't pleasant... So I asked to move to a larger table and the staff were very accommodating. We order and get the food, but man, I don't recall the food being that expensive compared to Monterey. Not only that, the birthday surprise never came. I'm still a fan of Alvarado, but I wanted to note this because it's the second time on Open Table that a request was never received by staff. I think Open Table needs to review its processes in asking customers to place notes when making reservations if it never gets to the staff anyway.

    Everything was good we had the Lobster and Shrimp roll. You get two rolls per order. My only complaint was the roll looked like a hotdog bun and a sandwich roll. Overall I really enjoyed the meal.

    Costumer service was not great. I don’t think it’s right to get kick out from a restaurant and this being my first time was so disappointing. Definitely not coming here again. Will not recommend this place. What kind of service is this when we’re still eating and drinking and we get kicked out.

She gave us great menu recommendations, was super friendly, checked on us often (but not too often) and all around made our experience amazing. The food was delicious.     Table of 5 celebrating a birthday here, but we were not made aware of the 2 hour dining limit until it was time to order dessert and told that we were out of time. Didn't get to do a birthday round of desserts or drinks for our brother and seems kind of silly to make a table that was trying to spend more money with you leave before their meal was even completed. Now it makes sense why they kept trying to clear our plates even when there was food still left on it. The Crispy Cauliflower appetizer as well as the Pig and Fig Pizza were incredible and definitely the stars of the show. We also each ordered an entrée (2x Surf & Turf Frites, Al Pastor Tacos, Fried Rock Fish Tacos, Spicy Southern Fried Chicken plus an additional entrée to share (Lobster & Shrimp Roll). They were fine, but nothing to write home about. We all had cocktails as well as beers and they were good as always. Would I come again? Maybe to sit at the bar and just have appetizers, but I would not come back with a large group or to celebrate a special occasion based on the way service ended which is a shame because the space is very cute and the atmosphere was lively.

    Waiter told us all about an appetizer not on menu. Then he said oh, that’s at dinner. We ordered veg tacos. He came back to say they were out. This was 12:45. They have a small menu. I hope they can step up to the Plaza ASB standards.

    This is a great addition to Old Town Salinas. The burgers were delicious. Mai Tai and Lemon Drop were good. Excellent service. Definitely make reservations.

    Well, we were running a bit late. And asked for a little extra time. The person on the phone made it sound like it was not possible. We get there and it's not super busy. Then we get seated. And asked like 500 times if we were ready to order. Then we finally order, and there is an emergency we get kicked out. They told us, that since we didn't finish our beer it was not required that we pay. I mean seriously? Our whole meal should have been free. For the inconvenience!!! We drove 1 hour to go this this place.

    What a great addition to downtown Salinas! It’s a great space with a massive bar serving house brews and good food. The size of the space leads to some louder acoustics, but not so bad that you have to shout at each other. Definitely a place to check out.
