A solid choice in Mountain Village. Not super high end but for a casual night out, an excellent choice. Given the distance from the ocean, the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail we surprisingly crisp, that is very good!. Nice salad choices and the burger with truffle fries are excellent. Nice staff, well led by Alberto. Oh yea, the views top it all off for what makes and enjoyable experience.
We were able to eat outside on their beautiful deck. Heaters were available but we just kept the little fire on the dining table lit and were very comfortable. Cocktails were very good and we started with the cheese plate before ordering. The service was excellent- especially since our waitress had to keep coming outside. We never had to wait for any request it is expensive but you just have to figure you are paying for the beauty of Telluride along with the food
Obviously stunning views! Food was delicious, especially the apps and the staff was very friendly and helpful!
Amazing views as the window blinds automatically go up just as the sun is setting up over the mountains, and views of the telluride airport landing strip.
Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. A must stop for dinner when in Telluride, Co.
Incredible restaurant. We were there for a sunset dinner. The views are unmatched and the food does not disappoint, worth every penny. Unique drinks, delicious entrees and appetizers. Service was impeccable, friendly and attentive staff from the host to the manager.
Altezza is beautiful and the staff were accommodating with our sitting location. We had a great view and good distance from other dinners. The food was good but not amazing.
Wonderful experience with great views
Chicken, salmon and ribs. Each entree was superb! The Old Fashioned simply excellent. Great a evening - thank you!
Food was fantastic but ambiance left something to be desired.
Great food! Amazing views- go at sunset- beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous, good food, good service. Manager came out to say hi. Just a wonderful experience overall. View is unreal— if you are looking for a good date spot or a romantic evening, look no further!
Good chef, food and service...very pleasant and attentive staff.
Original scheduled to be seated outside. They decided to open a banquet room to seat people. There was no view as originally was the reason for booking this restaurant. We were seated near a group of couples with plenty of young children running around, yelling, all being herded by what look to be a nanny. The service was great. The food was good. All in all it wasn’t a bad experience, just a little disappointing.
Amazing views and fabulous food! Definitely a must try if you’re in the area.
A bit chilly outside even with the heaters and lap blankets, but the views made up for that! Plus, it’s February and COVID—the food was EXCELLENT and Zack was a very good server! Will visit Altezza again next time I’m Mountain Village/ Telluride.
Beautiful views, great food, amazing service!
Excellent service, great food & ambience. Julie, our server, is one of the best in Telluride, & as long as she is at Altezza, we’ll be back as often as we can. Fab views too!
Delicious salmon! Buffalo wings are fantastic. Great views.
New Year’s Eve. Everything was great until Emily was so rude spilling my wine. Rude to say the least. Everyone else was great
I had booked this reservation for an early, 5PM because I was under the impression there would be a great view and it would be perfect timing to watch the sun go down. Unfortunately, the dining room was under renovation and we had no view - and were seated in more of a lobby, directly behind the hostess stand.
Noise level was moderate, as we were right next to the hostess stand that takes all calls, etc. There was high foot traffic around us, and although everyone was wearing masks - it made me feel unable to fully relax.
Food was fine (though cheese board was excellent), service was very good. Just a bummer because it’s one of those places you pay the premium for the experience - and in my case it was a very average one. I understand there’s nothing staff could have done here, but I wish I had known the set up ahead of time.
Great service despite the Covid challenges they are all facing. The food was absolutely amazing. The chicken with Brussels sprouts was spectacular.
Limited menu but still varied. Salmon was outstanding. Short ribs very good. Exceptional distancing and friendly, attentive service. Key lime pie as an anniversary gift was excellent.
Quite surprised. When we were taken to our table for our 6pm reservation, there was only one other table seated. We arrive at our table and I was surprised to find the chairs were dirty with crumbs. I wiped them down myself. As I sat down (wife was in the bathroom) I noticed the table was also noticeably dirty. As with the chair, I wiped it down myself. Alteeza has black floors so it picks up dirt to the eye easily, but the floor was absolutely filthy. Like glaringly filthy. I could understand if it was ski season, but this is shoulder season, during covid, so with it being a little less busy, you would think opportunity would exist to insure your restaurant is in top shape and up to the Telluride standard. On a brighter note, the food was fantastic and reasonably priced.
Best sunset view in Telluride!!!
In a completely empty restaurant, we requested a window table when we arrived at the restaurant because the views were spectacular and were really the only reason we made reservations there in the first place, and we were seated at the absolute worst possible table in the direct sunlight and as far away from the windows as possible. We were told the window tables were completely booked. To be fair, we made our reservation the night before and the outside options were booked up by then. However. Our reservations were at 1715, there were about 10 tables inside the restaurant, and there wasnt another customer until about 30min into our reservation. there were 2 other tables that didn't have direct window views that would have still offered better views and would have been out of the sunlight, but we were given the worst in a completely empty restaurant. those 2 tables were never seated our entire 1.5hr stay, and there was 1 window table that was never seated. The 3 other window seats filled up only in the last 15min of our experience. the truffle fries were great - the rest of the food was only ok. Save yourself the money and just enjoy drinks from the bar and the lovely outside patio not reserved for altezza, which has just as pretty views. We were very disappointed in our 5th anniversary dinner experience.
Wonderful experience and service. Beautiful views.
Best place for dinner with amazing view. They have enough vegetarian options and the staff is also awesome.
We very much enjoyed our dining experience at Altezza at The Peaks!!
Amazing view from the porch, the service was good considering covid, the salmon was yummy, what came with it was a bit boring but overall great experience
Birthday dinner for my husband. We had a beautiful sunset view. The dinner was excellent—the salmon dinner one of the best we’ve had. Grain bowl was also delicious & filling.
Limited menu. Has the salmon and it was over cooked. View was incredible.
The staff was so disorganized . We edited 40 minutes before being served our drinks we ordered. We finally left and no one even noticed we were gone.
No wait staff or hostess to inform that we were leaving due to poor service. I would not recommend this place except for the beautiful sunset.
Service staff was pleasant, but the food was disappointing. Pretty sure the fish and chips come straight out of a bag into a fryer. The side with the grilled salmon was extremely bland and not enjoyable. Unfortunately next visit to Telluride will not include a stop at Altezza.
It was a great experience and the food was excellent.
The seafood appetizer fritto misto was not cooked at the correct temperature and the coating did not adhere to the seafood. So kind of a jumbled mess.
Very disappointed by limited menu
Altezza has one of the best views in Telluride. The outdoor space and bar are really lovely. The food is good although the menu is a bit on the basic side this summer. The winter menu was a bit more robust. Service has improved immensely in the past year. I think this is best overall restaurant in Mountain Village.
Spectacular view -
Lovely staff
Our vegetarian selections could have been a bit more savory
Servive was awesome. Jennifer and Roberto made our dining experience wonderful.
Food was good but service not good. Waited very long time for order to be taken. Salad not served. No refill on water. Guitar player added nicely to atmosphere
